Putting aside his resting bitch face and intimidating demeanor, Fuyu is an extremely laid back and considerate person. While he will not draw you for free, Fuyu is more than willing to accompany his friends and those who seem troubled any assistance he can provide. He is extremely loyal to those who he gains a trusting bond to and is more than happy to make room from his busy schedule. Fuyu still retains his child-like wonder for the world and chooses to look at the world with an open heart.
Despite living around his good for nothing parents and moving around to awful people, Fuyu is still a bit naïve on social clues which adds to his child-like wonder.
Balancing his virtues, Fuyu is quite naive and impatient. His simpleminded approach to life gears his mind to dashing into risky situations that are beyond his level of skill for the sake of finishing it efficiently and quickly. As a result, Fuyu can be quite naggy when it comes to teamwork. However, his blunt and sharp tongue can be both a good and bad thing. For one, he is not afraid of letting others of his opinion, on the other, he can be seen as quite harsh and pointed, further aiding his demeanor.
Bio: BBoyuan does not remember where or how he was born. The first memory he has was the boats built by builders and the turning waves of the ocean, accompanied by Kami. Kami was a strange one in his eyes. He assumed that he was a foreigner, judging by the way he's dressed and the fact that he could only partially understand him. There were other people with him. Sworn friends maybe? That detail...didn't matter to Boyuan, however. Loyalty bloomed in his core as he was whisked away with them.
Even when the war broke out, Spreading his words of good fortune was something Boyuan did on a daily basis. Dragging his sword that he rarely brought out and everything he could to aid his fellows. Boyuan doesn’t know if his fighting skills nor magic was powerful enough to aid them in battle but somehow they had gained a victory under their name.
Boyuan's soul soon returned back to the Xi'an where he felt most at home, where he is now known as Lin Fuyu.
Fuyu was born into a good-for-nothing family full of artists who constantly throw their lives into financial ruin. Due to constantly switching between poverty and all sorts of living situations, Fuyu had to work from a young age to aid his parents financially. Because of his name(for context, Fuyu's name means to desire wealth), Fuyu always felt like he was born for one purpose: to get as much money as he possibly can.
Despite jumping from place to place, Fuyu prioritizes helping others rather than getting cash. He grew fond of those who had an easygoing nature, finding their presence more relaxing than his parents, which he drifted away from each passing day. On the other hand, one thing Fuyu always admired(and probably now the only thing he did) of his parents was their artistic abilities, often copying his parent's artistic techniques on breaks and would sell them in the night market.
Fuyu was more or less irked by his parent's irresponsibility, having to live with constantly earning to please his parents. Finally leaving for Florence, Italy using all the savings he's been hiding after a huge argument between them, Fuyu was free from being the bottom of the barrel and started a new life. He now lives with an elderly couple who he considers as his aunt and uncle.
However, Fuyu still feels like there is something missing. Despite the numerous cycles of the sun and moon, he is unable to pinpoint what. However, that day came to Fuyu suddenly a jade pendant was conveniently placed on the window sill after his big win on an Art Competition Broadcast. Now awakened with the memory of his past as Boyuan, Fuyu can't help but feel a pang of nostalgia when looking at the jade pendant.

Personality: The most notable thing about Sayaka is how she carries herself with confidence. She concerns herself not of the mundane, and does not take excuses from other. She is also quite arrogant, often underestimating those she considers inferior. In fact, it is safe to assume that Sayaka has a superiority complex, and cannot stand disobedience. However, at least in this form, Sayaka isn't particularly avert of making friends. She loves partying, whether she is the one hosting it or attending someone else's invitation. And when someone gets to her good side, she can be generous at lending a helping hand for them.
Bio: As far as Sayaka remember, she was a being created by Faust with authority over every other ROYAL members. Even from early on, Sayaka had always have a strange, unexplainable sense of superiority toward everything else around her, and while she had always proclaimed her loyalty to Faust, she refused to acknowledge him as her superior. Rather, she had always considered him as her only equal.
In her previous life, she wasn't all that much different from her current self; a prick whose arrogance became her downfall as she had suffered defeat by the hand of an even stronger MAGI. In her current life, Sayaka is the head of a powerful yakuza family in the southern part of Japan. Her first awakening was shortly after her sixteenth birthday when an attempt of coup managed to kill her father and almost took hers as well. The moment she became aware of her awakening, Sayaka quickly reclaimed the position of family's head, using the traitors to test her newfound power.
Nowadays, she merely enjoying her life day by day, maintaining her grip toward the yakuza family while simultaneously wondering in amusement what sorts of game Faust is brewing. Kami and his twelve MAGIs, however, are potential threats for her authority, and even without Faust's presence Sayaka was more than willing to fight them should the situation arises.

Biography:
Just like many other members of the Royals, the being known as Nessa Tudyk was created from a certain source by Faust's magic, given the rudiments needed to establish a human identity, and sent out to hunt the Magi and otherwise further Faust's victory. Rather than stay in close contact with the other Royals in some kind of base or residence, Nessa found herself staying in a ruined building on the outskirts of the city, what looked like...some sort of temple or church, perhaps? Her days up till now were then spent wandering the city, busking with an old guitar she found and helping people she came across. For the most part, this meant doing odd jobs, or feeding stray animals.
But every night, she dreamt of a strange being. A being wide, encompassing...compassionate, forgiving. A kind of being very different from Faust. Perhaps even greater than Faust. But every time she tried to reach out to them, or speak to them, she would awaken with a jolt. But the memory of that being's presence always stayed with her. As such, her wish, once the Royals emerge victorious, is to restore the building she calls home, that she may finally use the altar to make contact with this being in the waking world and win its favor.
The hidden truth of her origin is that Faust, in fact, created Nessa from the remains of a girl who had run away from home, passing away from cold and starvation in the very building she now lived in. Are Nessa's strange dreams and shift in personality when transformed the result of the conflict between the deceased girl's dreams of heaven and Nessa's own violent purpose? Who can tell?
As a whole, Nessa is a passive person with a gentle, if not exactly kind manner of speaking. She is yielding, but only because she is aloof, tending to miss what other people say and do if it doesn't involve what she's currently focused on. Nevertheless, she is a steadfast ally to the other Royals, and comes to aid them the moment they call.

Typically, they take the form of grenades similar to her Keystone, but she has also been known to generate them in the form of bricks of plastic explosive with adhesive wrapped around them, oversized cherry bombs, or rocket launchers. They are quite perilous to Magi and anyone else in their way, but do not damage inanimate objects as much as one might expect. She CAN, however, demolish a typical building if she concentrates her efforts on doing so.

When transformed, Faust's mischievous, malicious intent takes full form in Surya. She is exuberant, energetic, treating the battlefield as a game as much as a stage for her performance. She enjoys displays of flair and acrobatics, as well as demonstrations of the skill with which she wields her deadly weapons. Is this the real nature of this gestalt being, or a mask locked upon her?
Known Techniques:
Variable Payload: Surya's magic allows her to create several effects from her explosives when detonated, aside from the standard explosion. These include:
Illusion: The detonation of Fireworks or Smoke explosives leaves behind a residue that takes several minutes to dissolve. Before then, Surya can manipulate the residue to create vivid visual illusions that usually resemble graffiti or neon lights in style. These illusions can impart phantom sensations, though much less than the real things they may imitate, and Surya seems to be unable to generate more explosives while actively crafting or controlling an illusion.
Uncontainable: Surya cannot be imprisoned or impeded by anything other than magic (including mundane objects infused with magic), or a living being's body. Even without using an explosive, she can bend iron bars or push through a brick wall with only a token effort. This does not translate to tangible, explosive strength, however. For example, if faced with a boulder she could push through it, but could not lift and throw it without first breaking it into numerous tiny pieces. If the same boulder was dropped on her by a zealous opponent, she could dig her way out but would be barely able to roll it away, assuming she survived.

Vermillion is very friendly and social She enjoys spending time around other people. She acts...Mostly like a normal person, apart from the fact that she tends to say unnerving things. However, it becomes obvious after talking to her for a bit that there may be nothing going on inside her head. She always seems to have her head in the clouds, and gets easily distracted by things like puppies or cute accessories.
Straight to the negative parts we go I'll fill in the normal shit later.
Vermillion, like the "Deities" waging this war, seems to think of it more as a game than a real battle, where she should enjoy the opportunity to get to harm other people. She doesn't care about winning or losing, she just wants to enjoy the feeling of inflicting pain on other people. She wouldn't even hesitate to turn her back on the other Royals, if the Magi gave her the option to have more fun in this game. So what if she dies? She'll just respawn, it's not a big deal. Who doesn't want to try dying once? She's sure it'll be exciting. It'd kind of be a shame to lose this body, though, so she'll try not to die.
She has a very blatant disregard for authority.

Her life as Vermillion is actually her second one. The first body that Faust created for her was a boy named Noah. Personality wise, he wasn't too different from who Vermillion is now. He was a bit more cooperative toward other people and smarter, but that doesn't matter now, because he's dead- Killed in battle by a Magi with far more battle experience. She can't remember which one, and she doesn't particularly care.
A few days later, she awoke to her powers as a sixteen year old in a whole new body by simply stumbling across one of the other Royals. Which was...Weird, because as Vermillion, she'd already lived sixteen years of a mundane life in a middle class household. Childhood, growing up with human parents, coming out to her parents as a girl at fifteen- How was it that she could have lived a human life when she also remembered dying just a few days prior?
In the end, she decided not to worry about the details. Apart from having a small existential crisis immediately after the memories of her previous life came back, she didn't think the how particularly mattered. She was a highschooler now, and there was no changing that, even if going to class everyday was a complete bore.
Now, she's still living with her parents.

Personality: Cold would be one way to describe Morrigan by those who get to know her through her polite façade, it'd be hard to survive the cutthroat corporate world otherwise which is something she knows personally from experience. Anybody could be willing to push a dagger through her back despite whatever friendly smiles they put up to mask their intentions with and so she treats those around her with utmost caution. Even after she manages to sniff out whatever plans or goals someone may have involving her, she'd rather keep them at arms length at best if it means keeping herself safe which has naturally led to her isolating herself off from most people beyond a professional level. That doesn't mean she doesn't know how to treat others with a little bit of extra kindness if it means she can eventually prod them wide open to see exactly what makes them tick and how she can use that against them in order to keep them loyal to her. Ultimately, Morrigan is someone who's too afraid of making any meaningful connections with people due to her seeing it as a weakness to be exploited by anyone with a similar mind with hers. Such an outlook on life has left her feeling lonely and even depressed at times at her lonesome but she never wallows on such 'meaningless' things for long.

Personality: Alianna is a sort of queen bee, at least in her circle of friends. She likes to gossip about drama and she loooooves to organize get-togethers. She knows she's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed so she's learned to be very good at delegating responsibilities to teammates and friends, though she's not gonna be the most patient lady when people start slacking. While she's a better leader, she's just as comfortable following others, she's pretty much happy to just be involved.
She seeks attention and loves making friends, after all, that's what college life is about, right? At least that's what she thinks - work hard, play hard, that's her motto. As the captain of the cheer-squad and a part-time lifeguard she doesn't really have much extra time for all this MAGI business, mostly shoving it aside under the philosophy of "I already have almost everything I want"... until her brother got into a horrible accident.

Bio: Born to a modest household in the middle of nowhere, Alianna worked very hard to get to where she is today, and she always felt like there was something she could do, whether it was working extra shifts at her part-time or studying extra hard so she wouldn't fall behind, or planning more events to stay close with her friends. She considers herself a self-made woman, and is proud of how hard she's worked - and is still working - so naturally she's prideful of her accolades, maybe a little too much so.
In spite of this literally godly game she's been chosen to be a part of, Alianna is content with being herself, with the trivial drama of college and her cheer practice and posting cute selfies. She didn't think she needed anything more than what she already had, and that if she ever did, she'd work for it the same way she's done her whole life. This all changed when her brother was hurt in an accident last year. She panicked, she was upset, she tried to do something about it but it was out of her hands. He's in a coma and all she could do was worry.
Except, that wasn't all she could do. For the first time ever she treated her MAGI powers seriously and took to training every day. At first she'd overwork herself, kept pulling a muscle or at times even passing out during training, but anything to distract from her brother's tragedy was good enough for her. She uses her skills in cheerleading and gymnastics to form her own fighting style, she found the best way to use her powers and she set out to win this game for herself.

Personality: Whitney loves to talk, whether it’s opining on the latest news or telling jokes about whatever’s in her mind or consoling and advising her friends on their troubles, it’s rather hard to get her to shut up. She holds an extremely high opinion of herself with quite the superiority complex, and sees everyone else as almost another subspecies. Still, the way she talks tends to bewilder and fascinate most, almost in like a mesmerizing sort of way.
She's entranced and intrigued by other beings, using her silver tongue to prod information, sometimes seeing where their limits are. She's extremely fond of critters, whether its her numerous pets or strays or wild animals, though they don't seem to always reciprocate this fondness. Out of all the lives she's had, she seems particularly invested in and in control of this one, never rushing, never panicked and always with a plan B. This somewhat cold and calculating side of her is contrasted by her characterful and personable demeanor, though it remains to be seen which aspects of her are truly reflective of the truth. Is she a heartless monster putting on a mask of amicability? Or is she only so methodical and foxy to ensure that she makes the most out of her time? Nobody really knows, including herself, but the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Bio: From birth, Whitney had always gotten just about everything she wanted. She had friends, she was wealthy, she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t like, and if everything went awry she knew she could always count on her brilliant mind to bounce back. As she grew up she thought she could get away with doing less and less while achieving more and more. Optimizing for laziness, that's the way she was, seeing exactly how little she could do and get away with it.
She spends a lot of her time to contemplate on not just how to play Kami and Faust's game, but the nature of the game itself. Why her? Why do any of this? What would she want if she helped Faust win this round? Surely it’d just go on and on again. A whole world of people and just two dozen to possess so much power. Her inquisitive nature meant that she asked Faust a lot of questions, most of which she knew couldn’t be answered.
Unsatisfied with not knowing what the purpose of it all is, Whitney didn’t have any specific reason to take this game that seriously besides hating losing, so she started coming up with her own parameters and made sure she had a lot of fun participating. She rarely goes into her true form, preferring to delegate actions to others and watching them battle it out, interjecting only when she needs to. She sees it all almost as if it’s beneath her, or that having to go into her true form is a sign of a blunder and a last resort on her part.

Bio: Born as the fourth son of a pair of business tycoons, one can say that Albert Kaine is literally the spare. With his brothers being mentored once they were able to read, write, and compute coherently to take over the family business when the time comes, he's often left to his own devices and only gets addressed when needed. Sounds like your stereotypical last in line rich kid story but as he can attest, it's somewhat the truth. And it left him with a lot of spare time; time that he just can't seem to find worthwhile and thrilling to do with. Fishing certainly helped; not that exciting at first glance mind you but once a fish takes the bait? Oh boy!
Eventually though he did find something to pour himself into when entered college: theater. Living out stories, the lives of different people, and being someone he couldn't normally be; there was certainly a joy in it; for a time at least. While he did stuck to the theater course along with his other hobby, another unexpected opportunity entered his lap: Faust. The offer was at the same time direct and vague; find your purpose, become greater than who you are, fight in a never ending stage...
If Albert were to be honest though, some of his memories since accepting the deal were quiet hazy; some wins, some losses, a few honorable and horrible deaths here and there; one thing they have in common though, is that they're all fulfilling.
