Escape These Dreaded Cages

I mean we all post in an order. Like You, Me, Devil, Sky, Nova, Awkward and so forth.

Sure! If everybody'll stick to the plan then I'm all for it.

Still gotta setup the sort of introduction/beginning/meeting my charries as well
INTRO

Darkness. The room was filled with darkness. The least you could interrupt that the room itself wasn't a place you'd see want to have enough just heard about. What...What was this place to begin with? The walls were closed in tight and padded, similar to that of the containments for people of the asylum; psycho people.

"Crazy, huh? Consider yourself crazy perhaps? Confused more than anything. Let me briefly enlighten your small teenage mind. You are a test subject -- nothing more, nothing less. Experiment #17B to be exact. Lucky you! Ha! Some men are coming to take you away. From here on out this tiny cramped little trap will have felt much more safe than where you're about to be heading now." A voice whispered among the shadows and yet if you glimpsed around, you wouldn't spot a soul.

The sound that would easily send anybody's heart rate a quickening was the clunk of boots. Boots of a many men approaching. Now wouldn't that just be the most terrifying thing. Waking up in some strange place by yourself, locked up in a cage, and then suddenly out of the silence someone steps out to retrieve you. A man, the shortest man of the group stepped forward and peered into the barred windows of each cage; yes, you heard me right. There were others here as well. Professor, that title was located on his name tag, Professor Qwinkle. Don't laugh at the weird name or you won't be having a tongue in a few seconds.

((I know, I know. It's probably really confusing so far. I'll try to explain as the story goes along but don't worry. They'll all be placed into actual rooms were they will stay -- that is...when they're not trying to escape.))

((Yes. Do you know what those weird caged rooms are with the padded walls? Used to keep mentally insane people from getting out. Usually they'd have a straight jacket strapped in as well but I didn't feel a reason to add that part.))

Felix didn't know where he was, it was dark. He didn't know where they put him now, they always moved him around. He was once in some sort of solitary confinement due to killing someone with his powers, he placed a killing curse on one of the lab workers. That earned him the red label and a nice spot in confinement. He was just a lab rat now, he had been for many years.

He didn't want to be someones lab rat, he just wanted a normal family and a normal life. But, no he had to go through beatings, rapes and experiments. He stopped struggling in the chains after realizing he wouldn't get free. He was going to be stuck here, he was no longer Felix that name was long forgotten by himself. He went by Experiment A13 now or just A13. He had been in this place for five years, he was dull and had gotten use to this reality.

He wanted out but, all those that had even thought of escaping had been caught and never heard from again. He sighed and shifted he wasn't going anywhere anyways, he was in flipping chains for God's sake. He was blind folded and he couldn't see anything. He laid down on his side and closed his eyes and hoped for a miracle , the one he had been waiting for for five years.

((Ooh, I really wanna post even though its not my turn. :3 Are we doing the turn thing? I think anybody else is on currently.))

(We don't have to do a post order. I don't even know why i suggested that, it's too much of a hassle.)

((Okay. I get impatient real easy anyways. X3 Though we'll have to make sure not too far ahead without everyone. That wouldn't be fair.))

The click of slightly heeled boots echoed throughout the empty hallway as a figure skipped through along. Clearly it wasn't a test subject for this man had a smile upon his face; by that I mean a grin that twitched every once in a while at the curled up corners of his mouth. Not a very pleasant one to lay eyes on. He swiftly unlocked one of the rooms with a single turn of the bronze key that he always had stored away in his jacket pocket. Being an experiment, you could almost never tell the difference from who was stepping in to start on a few tests, except when it was Ethan. Yep, Ethan's his name. A young twenty year old scientist's assistant. He'd actually be fully titled as an official scientist if it weren't for the fact that the others simply didn't trust him.

Ethan hummed quietly to himself as he approached one of the cages, knocking with his knuckles against the little door. "Hello~" He chimed cheerfully. In a good mood today despite what he had been ordered to do. Opening the creaky door he looked down on but one of their many currently chained subjects. Experiment #A13 was what the cage door read. "Have a good night's sleep?" May sound like an okay guy...until he brings you to the laboratory.

The padded confinement cell was never a real dilemma for Ash. For most the room was an inescapable enigma, one that provided a harsh reality to these kids situations. However, Ash could do better than just sit waiting in the cell and she knew it. Only seconds earlier the guards and scientist had tossed her back into the room in chains and shackles. This was nothing compared to the tests that had been run on her and all the other teens around the compound. Infact she had already liberated herself from the chains. By increasing the force of gravity on the metal it had inevitably cracked and allowed the girl to wander around the cage free of the cold iron. Now out of boredom she allowed the gravity that held her down to reverse itself and walked along the ceiling, but the view didn't change and Ashley yearned for more, for freedom.

((@SilverNova; hmm, how shall we occupy your Ashley? You said she was just thrown back into the contained cage not too long ago so that must mean she had gotten back from tests. Then that'd be kind of strange to send out another scientist to drag back to the lab...unless they chose to be cruel and continue with more than the daily required amount of tests. Or I do have another character, Cloud. Maybe I could find a way for him to manage to get out of his cage and attempt to help her as well.))

(She didn't necessarily have to undergo test, we could just say that they were moving her from one cell to that new one for some reason.)

((So, would you like to commence with the yet plan or carry on with something else? There's going to be lots of tests, escape attempts, and romance mixed in at different various.))

(Whatever happens is really fine with me, but I was assuming you were going to take out Ash along with Felix thus why I added that she could've just been transferring cells.)

((Oh, right!! xD dumb me. Why didn't I think of that before? Gonna have to wait for Nico to reply though before he can come get her as well.))

(Give me a moment to reply. My cable is freezing along with the phone and internet Dx)
Felix shot up into a sitting position when he heard the door to his room open. He blinked behind the blindfold and scooted into a corner. His skittishness was kicking in along with his flight or fight instincts. He didn't know what this guy or girl, he couldn't tell, wanted. He turned to the sound of the voice and frowned, he was asking how he slept?

Felix snorted "As well as anyone who is blindfolded and chained could sleep." he said and rattled in his chains. He didn't know what he wanted from him, maybe more experiments, more tortures? He sighed once more and turned his head away.

((Hate when that happens :/ ))

Ethan knew perfectly that this guy had an awfully night, just like every other night. Even if he had never personally met this experiment himself, he still heard that he's been here for quite a few years so of corse he learned at least a little information. You'd say that he was lucky not to end up as an experiment himself but his personality has been altered to the head scientists. They always seemed to mess up everything. "Come, come now. Don't be so down. Think of this as...exploring new places and advancing human life." He clicked as he unlocked the chains not long before he connected the leash to the boy's collar. That's right, a collar. All experiments had one. Obviously it was used for when transporting/walking them from place to place but they also had a microchip buried deep inside to track them down if they did happen to escape.

"I have a new friend I'd like you to meet," he declared as he dragged Felix along through the hallway in the direction of another room. He reached up to take off the blindfold, almost forgetting about that.

Felix wasn't sure why this guy was being so kind but, Felix was not fooled. It was just like those people at those houses as a child. They would act so friendly and kind then they'd beat him and do 'things' to him. When this guy told him not to be so down he glared harshly behind the blindfold. How couldn't he be down? He sighed and rubbed his wrists as they were freed of the chains. "Wee, an adventure." He smirked "You know adventures always end up in painful deaths." He joked and felt the chain click to his collar. He felt something brushed his cheek and noticed that this guy was about to take his blindfold off, he quickly closed his eyes not wanting to curse the young male.

That's just his Ethan was. Pretty much the scientists had turned him into a living robot; acting all fluttery like they were going on a picnic and yet obeying orders whether it came to a simple task or possibly harming others. That's how he was taught how to live. Not entirely their fault though. He could've refused in the first place.

He sighed in slight disappointment when the boy had closed his eyes tight. "Ah, so you're that curse-subject. Should've guessed by the blindfold." He quickly tied it back on before stepping into the next room. "Hey, hey, hey. Time to get up~" he tapped on the door of the next cage just as he had done with the other experiment. Opening the door he saw the girl propped up on the ceiling. "Oh, Ashley deal. I see they've moved you...again." He snickered slightly. This specific girl he's had practice testing on numerous times so it hardly took a second for him to recognize her.

(I don't know what this plot is about I haven't been told yet, so could someone enlighten me so i can make a start)

The tap of shoes hitting the floor alerted Ash to oncoming visitors, but she didn't come back down and instead persisted to sit on the ceiling thinking wittily to herself that she'd be able to handle it. Past fights and encounters with the workers around the building had proven this false many times over. Sure Ash had powers and a sort of mentality that showed strength, but it was never enough for her to actually be able to handle it. The guards and scientists always had a upper hand on the "experiments". It started with degrading the teens and even stripping them of their names. Even Ash was only known as C19 around the labs. But being as resilient as she was, the girl never gave up on her taunts and cocky remarks towards the workers. Infact her previous record had even earned her the title of "Danger" next to her room. The sign wasn't really needed, but was there anyways.

Smiling slightly towards Ethan, Ash remarked "Well you weasels never were very good about these cells, this ones just as bad, eh Ethan?"
