An hour had went by and Aofel had yet to find an inn, but instead he walked past what seemed to be like a circus. It was how to gather as many people as possible and make them bundle up in one place, Aofel hated such places. He hated all the people, there were simply more there to avoid him due to his black wings. He sighed, as he was about to pass, but his body stopped moving for a second. "HEY! Don't walk past this! Look! It's a circus~!" The female demon said to him, annoying him once more as he had already taken several detours to satisfy their nagging about him walking past several of the market's great suggestions of what to buy or what to use his money on. "Don't pass it! I want to see what it's like to be in a circus! You've never been there before~!" The male one said, continuing the female one's nagging about it.

"It's crowded, and it's noisy. There'll be a bunch of people there too. I hate such places," Aofel answered as he was still standing outside the entrance to the main tent. He could already hear the loud music and the people cheering on the inside, clapping and shouting something that was nothing, but annoyingly loud noises to Aofel. "Come on~ Just like... ten minutes! Then we won't nag you anymore! Then we'll find an inn, for real!" The female one begged Aofel, as he only sighed. "We promise~ We Pinky promise~" The male one added as Aofel was at a loss when it came to the two of them, they annoyed him far too much for him not to bend to their will at times. "Ten minutes. Not a second longer. I can't stand these places. I hate them," Aofel answered back annoyed as he wasted some of his money on the circus fee and entered inside the tent.

The people stared as Aofel entered the tent, his black wings clearly drew most of their attention away from the show for a few seconds, just the moment he entered. How many times had Aofel been asked to join in on a freak show in a circus on his travels? He sighed, as he simply sat down, making the ones that sat closest to him move to the sides.
"Oh! It's going to be so much fun~! We are in a circus! CIRCUS!" "Think that we can see a real show! I can't wait to see what's going to happen~! Do you think it'll be a magician? A Clown, a liontamer? A REAL DRAGON?!" They both laughed as Aofel sighed again. "Shut it and enjoy the show. Or I'll leave right now. You were the ones that wanted to see it, so watch and shut it," Aofel thought, watching the show himself as he had paid to watch it, and wasting money was something he wasn't going to do.
Zara left the kids fighting the skeleton completely bored and not amused that the short girl was all like 'I just saved a girl now my ass is going to get beat' (rember Zara is a complicated character) as she walked back to Blackwatch it seemed there was chaos going on in the circus. She walked in and looked around with her widened eyes. All the excitement in the air naturally made her a bit excited. She then noticed a very odd character that suddenly she wanted to talk to.

"Hey isn't the circus awesome~?" "I know right? It's so cool here~" Aofel sighed as the two spirits were chatting away inside of his head, he was about to get something to smack himself with a giant bat or frying pan, simply to make those blasted creatures shut up. He sighed, trying his best to focus his attention on the crowd, as he was debating to himself to leave soon and the spirits were too busy chatting that they really didn't notice it, and his own pair of black wings made sure that the others around him avoided him, something which made Aofel feel at ease, he was already bothered by the spirits, he didn't need anything else.

Zara watched him, her now golden silver eyes roaming around the circus area. Suddenly she heard sirens filling the air which caught her attention. Airships flew over Blackwatch, shooting long and jarge hooks from them which buried into the ground. Soon you could feel the ground shaking as the airships shot out big puffs of steam and began to fly upwards, pulling the city along. She steadied herself against a pole and watched as some people panicked and began running around screaming. What's going on....

((Sorry for such short replies I'm getting ready for a party))

(Sorry I didn't get any notifications from this. Gosh darnit.)

The mystery in a hood directed Hijack's attention to the skeletal being. Probably in an attempt to distract him. He glanced over at the skeletal gigalith, towering over everything. He grunted in an annoyed expression, this was not the time for that. He had a job to do. "..." Hijack eyed the suspicious person with distrust but let out another grunt in submission. "Fine. Stay within my sight. If you leave...I'll track you down as well." With that he drew his rifle and began walking in the direction of the giant enemy.

Senira sighed inwardly. The man had stolen her chance to get away: he had instructed her to stay within his sight. She itched to run as he walked away, but she knew that he'd find her in no time--the feeling of being watched had stuck with her for a while, and somehow, he had his own method of skillfully hunting people.

She stepped off to the side, making sure that she man could still see her. She didn't want to get involved in this battle, even though she had the ability to. Fighting might lead to her to forget remaining disguised, since she preferred to fight without anything flowing behind her--she thought it would slow her down.

She kept a hand gripped on her blade handle, prepared to strike it anything happened. Her violet eyes were the only thing visible under her cloak and 'scarf-mask.' She wanted to hurry and remove it, though it didn't seem like a wise decision with the man's suspicion.

(I can has friendshipz? :D )

In a hastened walk, Hijack made his way closer to his target, his exposed blue eye glowing in anticipation of a fight. "This wasn't what I thought would be my skirmish..." He whispered to himself, quiet enough for others to not hear. Why this behemoth materialized was unknown to him, but it didn't matter. The fight he was looking for appeared before him, his eye resting upon the beast's image as if it were a giant target.

Hijack felt the grip on his rifle, smoothly rubbing his fingers across the trigger. It was almost like an itch to fire. He caught up slightly to who he thought was Seiko, it didn't matter who, Hijack was lost in thought.
"Don't expect to much team work from me. I plan to take this things head as a trophy."

(Okay, I'll start posting, but other people can control the monster, if they want.)
Seiko broke out of her paralysis, twirled around and started to run. She heard large crashing behind her as the monster followed suit, but didn't dare turn around to look. She heard several of its swords swoosh past her, giving her some minor injuries and causing her to cry out and stumble. Then she fell, sliding along the ground until she came to a halt in front of Hijack's feet.

Hijack's trance ended with the sound of something falling at his feet. Dirt was thrown up and a little squeal was heard, bringing him back to the world around him. He looked down with his exposed eye, glaring like usual. "Oh. So it was you Sieko." He didn't get a reply as the behemoth had lifted a few large boulders, lifting them above it's massive body. Hijack brought the rifle to his chest, and hunched down. Just as he was about to take evasive action he remembered Seiko's presence on the ground. "...Shit." Without another thought he grabbed the girl by her hand and began running as hard as he could. The behemoth let out a roar and began chucking boulders in their direction.

(Why wouldn't he throw boulders? :P I suppose he could have simply slashed at me but I find it good if he could have a "ranged attack" as well. x3 Probably unnecessary but eh. Oh and btw, I don't know if I mentioned this but I am at my grandparents currently and they don't have the best of internets. It barely ever works...SO! If I am unable to post you now know why~)

Hijack never took his eyes off the creature, readying himself. "...Fine." He leaned down slightly with a hand expanded out. He sighed, slightly annoyed. "Try not to die."

(oh, no, feel free to join in @macaron.)

Seiko took the hand, saying, " I'll try!" as she got onto her feet. She grinned cheekily at Hijack, then noticed all the dirt on her clothes. Just as she was about to dust herself off, a boulder smashed into the ground between the two of them, a boulder that looked like it belonged in one of the nearby buildings. Seiko yelped and jumped bback in surprise.

(@Beaurmont)

Hijack jumped back, avoiding the large boulder. Great...it's throwing rocks. He looked over at Seiko, slightly shocked and covered in dirt. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small cloth. Coyly he threw it toward his companion and turned back to face the creature. "Clean yourself up a bit...I'm going in." Without looking back Hijack raised his rifle and began whispering what sounded like a chant. With his blue eye radiating its color he pulled the trigger and a shot was fired.

His gun however did not shoot normal ammo, but in-fact a burst of energy erupted outward. It struck the behemoth at full force causing it to stagger. Without rest he fired another shot aimed at it's head, chuckling relentlessly.

(@Beaurmont)

"And that is sexist." Seiko said matter-of-factly. Yet, despite this, she dusted herself off, although she dud mutter a few other comments as she did. The behemoth, on the other hand, was knocked backwards by the shot to the head, taking a long and hasty step back as bits if bone flew away from the site of impact. Then it stopped. It immediately regained its balance. The necromancer's satanic laugh echoed once again around the street. The monster redrew the bone swords it had stored between its own ribs and leapt forwards, preparing to slash down at Hijack with the swords.

"...Tch." Hijack took a few steps back as the behemoth grew ever closer with its blades of bone. This was indeed challenging. "My energy rounds...were ineffective?" He muttered to himself. Suddenly the creature leapt forward at him, blades ready to slice. He brought the rifle close to his chest and jumped with all his might into another direction. The large skeletal blades crashed into the ground, scattering dust everywhere near the impact. Hijack grunted as he rolled, just barely avoiding the strike.

He returned to his feet, just in time to see the creature gazing at him once again, eyes blazing red.
"...Come on then..." Hijack Pointed his rifle at it's face again, ready to try another volley.

(Hey, since this is a boss fight and all, why don't we add in hit points and a dice-based damage system?

Seiko walked away from the action casually, having spotted her staff. Now seemed like the perfect opportunity to get it, seeing as the behemoth was distracted. "You know," she said to Hijack, "you can't really kill something if it's already dead."

(Sounds fantastic. :D Wanna make up the hit points and such?)

As Hijack prepared to fire he heard a familiar voice beckon to him from ways away. "You know, you can't really kill something if it's already dead." He paused for a moment simply to grimace. Even if she was right...he would most surely still try. "I'll have to change that." With that he fired another energy pulse into the things forehead, knocking it back slightly. It immediately regained stance however, it seems to be used to his shots now.

(Sure! Just a few quick calculations and...

Boss: Behemoth

HP: 1600

Damage: 80

Hit rate: 40

Agility: 40

Okay, let me explain that...

Bear in mind that these are all suggestions... This will use a ten sided dice, with a number less than or equal to the number for hit rate (accuracy) making it a miss and a number less than or equal to the agility (evasiveness) being a dodge. Damage is a case of the total of the previous rolls times the damage (power) stat. Of course, with the previous two, the stat is ten times larger than the numbers on the dice. Sound good?)

(Math...hurts...re-reads a few thousand times. I think your calculations are sound, my brain is however is being insufficient. =-= Okay so for example, If I rolled a 5 I dodge an attack from him, but I need to roll a 5 or more to hit him also?)

(if you attack him, and you roll a four or lower he dodges... Which I might have to rethink in retrospect... But if he attacks, and a five or higher is rolled, and you don't roll low enough to dodge, it hits. Rethinking agility to ten or twenty... Anyway, if we were to do this we would need to do the same for our characters...)

(Hmmmm...oh yeah, we should probably ask the other RP'ers if they're cool with this. I thought like 1-2 other people were fighting this thing anyway?)

(yeah, I was thinking the same thing as well... That's why I was being so open. Perhaps we should tag everyone involved?)
