City of Lora, Japan, 2027
Man-made technology and manpower advanced at an alarming rate, that they are able to create cities in huge, previously uninhabited areas. Lora was created with the same technology, by the company Erebus. It has everything and anything a human could possibly need to sustain life. Food is still grown organically, but with the help of replication technology nothing other than quality seeds is reproduced. The human population doesn't seem to be exploding, and the rate of birth is suspiciously the same as the rate of death, even though with advanced technology humans are now able to live prolonged lives.

There are quite a number of companies housed by Lora, ranging from companies focusing on food to weapon production. The growth and decline of these companies also determine Lora's economy, as they make up for a huge portion of the city's income. Malls and theme parks are also not uncommon in Lora. They are the main attracting point for tourists, notably the Eleanor Mall that is home to brand-name goods not sold anywhere else, and the Deesneyland Theme Park whose games aren't less advanced than the city itself. The main means of transportation through the city of Lora is by riding super-speed trains, more commonly referred to the st's (as-tees). Walking by foot is also arguably cheaper, healthier, and maybe even faster to some areas, as Lora also provides escalators that connect to different parts of the city, making it faster to walk than to ride the st's for short-distance trips.

In Lora, the media plays an important part in daily life. Through the news it brings, people can predict if the price of rice may go down (i.e. through scandals made by the CEO of a rice company). It seems that your every move is watched by the cameras stationed throughout the city, and criminals are bound to get caught when they do something they shouldn't, even if at first they get away with it.

With all the advantages that technology brings, there is no doubt that the people of Lora rely on it, but are you the same? You are a high-school student living in the city of Lora. Will you take advantage of technology, or will you be taken advantage of? You're about to find out the truth, in a way you might not like.

Hi everyone! I really wanted to do a Persona-inspired rp, and the brief introduction you just read (if you missed it, click the Initializing button) is the premise of the RP I would like the rp to be in. I wasn't sure which section of the rp I should put this in but decided to put it in Realistic/Modern since the setting is kind of modern. This roleplay will focus on Technology and the (mis)/fortune it brings! If you ever decide to join, please commit to the rp! I wouldn't like for this to go down xP Also, I want this rp to be a detailed one, so no less than two paragraphs per post please! I hope you're interested!!

So listed above are 'arcanas' representing your character. For example, the upright Moon represents insecurity, so your character might be trying to find a place they could fit in. You can also have the arcanas reversed to show different interpretations; while the upright Star represents serenity and inspiration, the Reversed Star represents despair and discouragement.

The arcanas will also impact your persona. A persona is a manifestation of one's real self, no matter one tries to hide it. Your character may be gloomy, but at home they may be super creative. Their persona will reflect the creative side, because in essence that's who they are. A persona's abilities is also determined by the arcana they are in. They are used to defeat 'shadows' a manifestation of humanity's darker desires and laziness.

Totes, one of the best SMT games. Though I'm partial To Raidou Kuzunoha and Nocturne. I've played most of them though, lol.
