Eradication

Hm... where has my pairing partner gone off to? I haven't seen a reply to either of my last two posts.
@X07
It seems he hasn't been on since July 2nd. You can keep moving, if you would like. Since X07 did not inform us he would be unavailable for awhile, he's under the countdown of eradication unfortunately. But, we'll be patient and wait just a little longer before announcing the countdown. So, yeah. You can continue on without him or post filler posts. Perhaps you and @kitsunemage can interact at the moment?

Sandra Taylor. The hypochondriac one more or less, maybe a bit of OCD for flavoring. I suppose she and your character of Aislyn will be going through 'grief counseling' or something soon. I can't imagine the government doesn't make sure to 'talk' to those whose partner was eradicated.

Hm.. I hope SkyFilms is alright as that is this second rp I've not seen them responding to, I think.

A shame as Levi was one of the more interesting male characters and to be lost to the eradication. Ah well, should we coordinate something with Pai for where our two characters are questioned or something, you think?

Sure! It might be something they do before the ball to test our 'peace of mind' seeing as it is required. I only say that cause in my last post (just a random one) she's already been released from quarantine, and that would be the time that the gov't has everyone gathered together.

They might make sure we attend the ball and then waylay us then. Admittedly it doesn't have to happen but I would imagine at least a few other pairs might suddenly lose their mate the day of the harvest. Teenagers and young adults aren't exactly known for avoiding snooping into things and this government seems the kind that does not approve and punishes where it can.

Also if there is the slightest chance of contamination by the virus they might want to keep those whose partners have 'expired' close by and under close watch. Wouldn't want to panic anyone though so counselling would be a good cover.

Of course this is all up to Pai

Aye. I'll admit I'm kind of stuck on what to have Sandra do since she was in a restaurant with her partner. All the posts I can think of for the moment are just her fidgeting wondering where he is and those would be too short to be worth typing up.

I find some internal reflection and observation can go a long way. Could also have a waiter spill something on you- considering her nature I'm sure that would be an instant 'must leave restaurant now' kinda thing

True but then that raises the issue of do I drag along his character, which I think was against the rules, or just run off on my own. Ah well, I'll probably think up something tonight assuming I don't get lost in a video game.

@Veirrianna Valentine @Jaysun @X405

Shall we begin the event? What is the status of all the characters at the moment? We could either a) have everyone slowly - but surely - make their way to the event or b) time skip and throw the characters all in without having to wait for everyone. What does everyone want to do? Option B is generally easier and faster, you can have a quick description or flashback of what happened if you're in some sort of important conversation of some sorts and such.

How should we start the event?

a) Make a post about the event starting and everyone finishes up what they're doing and heads to the ball.

b) Make a post about the event starting and everyone is already at the ball.

c) Other (please post your idea)

I'm shocked I was not included !!!

Naw, not really.

But heads up, something messy is gonna happen at that event, due to Jacob :P

I am okay with either A or B, but in the interest of not spending a month on a few hours of the day, I certainly think we should begin the event!

I'm fine with option A or B as well. I'd prefer to get straight to it though since we've been on the first day for so long xD
