Hi, I'm Niiko. and i have no idea what i'm doing





I should probably mention this straight away - I have barely roleplayed before. I've messed around with it with some close friends, but I never tried going on actual sites and actually doing it..


Uh, but I wanted to try! So.. here I am. (If you couldn't tell, I'm weirdly kinda nervous? I get like this whenever I join a site, which yes, I'm aware that that's a weird thing to be nervous of)

Don't worry about being nervous, just congratulate yourself on having the courage to join a RPG site. Remember the basic role of all rpg's is to have fun.

EDIT: Actually, I have a question - how detailed are you meant to write your character forms?

Well, it actually depends on the role play that you're trying to join.


I like to write mine pretty detailed. Normally thats for the bio part, not for the rest. If you do want to see an example of highly detailed character forms, check this link. It'll help you to get an idea of what your supposed to do. Now, that role play I'm in, and its labeled as detailed, so you have to try and elaborate things as much as possible. In other role plays, its not necessary. Check out both pages on there by the way, mines on the second and its second to the last one posted.


Now, are you trying to get into an RP this moment? If so, I'd recommend to read all the other character forms that are on there to get an idea. Usually works.

I was gonna make at least one character before I thought about doing roleplays (To be honest, when I was messing around with friends, we just made quick self-inserts. Don't worry, I won't do that stuff here, and I know about mary-sues n' stuff) but I didn't consider that the actual form length/detail would depend on the roleplay (well, I did, but I wasn't sure) .. So, should I make multiple forms? A detailed one, a less detailed one, ect..
