I laughed so hard at "word vomit". I couldn't help it. I love to play with imagery. I like using graphic details to capture peoples attention because it's like my mom said, poetry is supposed to be pretty and I always wonder, who says it should be that way? It's like paintings and other visual arts, why should it have to be pretty? Isn't there a beauty in the grotesque? It's unique and can cause a reaction so different from the reaction you get when exposed to the prettier things in life.
