As of this morning, Im Jun-hoe had slept exactly two hours and sixteen minutes. Though he had fallen asleep at a reasonable hour, around eleven, an incurable thirst woke him up not too long after. Rather than desperately try to fall back asleep - he had deemed it pointless - Jun-hoe had gotten up and out of his bed in the middle of the night. The following hours were spent in the kitchen, reading tutorials on how one takes care of a beehive. Don't ask him why, he doesn't even have a beehive. He cooked a bowl of instant noodles, something that he randomly found in one of the cabinets. It didn't belong to him, it was most likely one of his roommates's. But it was four in the morning, and he was starving.
The sun had gone up now, and Jun-hoe was still sitting by the kitchen table, with a pair of reading glasses sliding down his nose, and eyelids heavier than concrete. From the slightly open window, he could hear faint noises. An old man whistling as he walked past, and some birds chirping softly. The weather wasn't too great, grey and cloudy at best, but at least it was warm enough to leave the jacket at home.
Jun-hoe sighed heavily when he looked around the room out of boredom. There were a lot of stuff laying around, on the table and on the floor. Things that weren't his, he never left his things anywhere. He slowly and grumpily got out of his seat, grabbed an empty cardboard box that had been there for days, and began shoving every piece of clutter he could find. Among his finds, there was a scarf, some random papers he assumed weren't important, and so many hairpins he lost count. When finished with his passive-aggressive outburst, he put the box by the living room table and wrote some sweet little text messages for his roommates. They read: "Don't fucking leave your shit everywhere".
After this, he sunk down in the chair again. Despite the time of day, and the fact that they were expecting new renters any minute now, Jun-hoe had yet to spot any of the other residents. Perhaps they forgot? Probably. To this, Jun-hoe sighed with his chin in his palm and stared at the door, patiently waiting for someone to ring the bell.
class="tabsContent tabsContent1"][div class=container][div class=textbox] "Yah, Kang Mira. Are you crazy? Wake up!"
Grumbling, Mira sluggishly lifted her head and upper body off the single sofa in one of the many practice rooms. As the young woman rubbed her eyes, she slowly began to recollect the events of the previous night.
After getting off work at 12, she'd decided to head to the university to practice. Most buildings at her university were closed to the public, but students could access them at any time as long as they had their ID which served as a keycard. Having left her key at home, she remembered debating on going home since the new residents were moving in. A violinist had his though, and Mira couldn't waste any time. The orchestra chair test was coming up, plus she was getting ready to try out for Seoul's city orchestra. It was a big deal for many classical musicians because many record companies recruited players that way.
"Oh..." Mira giggled softly as she noticed her friend glaring at her. Quickly putting her messy hair into a ponytail, the dark-haired female began putting away her cello and bow. By the time she'd finished cleaning her baby and checked the time, it was almost 10:30 AM.
Her friend had wandered off not long after Mira began cleaning, so there really wasn't any time to say her thanks or goodbye. Instead of standing idly around searching for the other female, she threw the strap of her cello case across her body and began the thirty minute walk back home.
I'll see her tomorrow anyways, she told herself without a second without a second thought.
As she walked, Mira's hands an fingers were mirroring the movements of one of the pieces she always ghost played when bored. People often looked at her, some whispering and some pointing at her open display of musicality. It never bothered the cellist, however. Mira was very open about her love for music and often encouraged the children she tutored to never be afraid to express that love. Of course, some of her nonmusical friends felt embarrassed whenever she randomly began ghost playing. Maybe even her roommates every now and then. Those were the only occasions she toned it down.
"I'm home." Mira announced as she walked inside, the front door squeaking. Pausing, she dug into the drawer of a nearby table and pulled out some oil, dabbing it liberally on the door's hinges until it was as silent as a mouse.
"No sleep again? She casually asked as she leaned her cello case against the wall, moving passed Jun-hoe to the first aid cabinet. In a few swift moves, she rubbed a generous amount of cream on her calloused and raw left fingers before wrapping them with band aids. After doing so, the woman fell onto the seat next to her roommate, using his shoulder as a head rest. "Where's Suji?[/div][/div][/div][div
the sun had finally begun to rise out of its blanket in the sky. the garden of buildings ahead had stopped wearing their fluorescent jewelry of neon signs and lights. their once charcoal grey covers from the night had turned into different tints and shades of all colors. similalry, the once monotone roads had now been decorated in flashing pops of color from cars and people trying to reach their next destination. after a long night of working, partying, and sleeping, the city had bid adieux from its daze of dusk and had arosen to the embrace of the morning's crisp breath and mellow aura.
in houses and apartment complexes everywhere, many people had begun to flutter their eyes open for their winding day ahead of them. for a certain girl however, today was a special day; today was moving day. even with it being being moving day, the girl had started her normal routine. she had awoken at eight'o clock in the morning, going on a run almost immiediately after she woke up. today in particular, her pace was a bit faster than usual. her once stern look had soften with thoughts of renewal and new beginnings. adrenaline and bright energy began to course throughout her veins. today's run had been faster than usual.
after her morning run, she had begun preparing her suitcases and her cardboard boxes filled with her belongings. she ruminated on the memories that her apartment brought. the apartment had been her first own apartment. she had many firsts under this roof. her first drinks, her first date, her first championship. nostalgia had run its warm hands across her eyes. she waved goodbye to those feelings. she pressed her hand on the door one last time before she left to greet her new beginning. she found her uber and bid farewell to her nostalgia under that doormat in nine-hundred Sunrise Way.
the trip to the house took about thirty minutes in total. the sun's warming smile had shone over her the whole trip, revealing the busy morning rush in comparison to her trip of new beginnings. when she finally arrived to her destination, she said her parting to the driver. shortly after her arrival the house, the moving truck came to upack. the girl had walked over to one of the workers, who looked up at the girl in awe before shortly clearing his throat and sorting through some of the boxes. the girl had smiled at him before she scanned her new surroundings. from the appearance of the driveway, it seemed that she had been one of the first new residents to the house. With the knock on the door and a smile on her face, she rung the door buzzer and chirped, "Hello, I'll be moving in today!" This girl was Yo Won, one of the new residents in the worn white house.

tango took a deep breath. he couldn't tell if the tugging in his chest was excitement or anxiety. with him, he only carried a few things. his guitar, laptop, and about two weeks worth of clothes. the rest of his stuff was on it's way to the house he was moving into, though there wasn't much more. the only things that he had packed to be shipped off were musical equipment. his desktop computer, microphone, keyboard and koto. tango's koto was his greatest treasure. the thought of leaving it behind never even crossed his mind, unlike with his musical equipment where he contemplated leaving them all behind and just buying new ones in korea like he had planned to do with clothes and bedding and everything else. in fact, if it was light enough he would have carried the koto with him. instead, he brought his guitar on his back, he would need at least something to play while anticipating the arrival of the rest of his possessions.
his parents wanted him to take more with him so that he could be prepared and comfortable, but tango refused. he didn't even know for himself exactly why he was adamant about taking so little. maybe he just wanted to make a new start, or feel truly independent by buying everything he needed himself. yeah, that was probably it. despite that, they still provided him with money to make a jumpstart. tango made his parents promise, albeit reluctantly, to never send him any more money. tango planned on buying everything gradually, anyway. he wasn't going to spend it all in one place.
following the gps on his phone, he gradually approached the house on foot. even with the guitar strapped to his back and the small suitcase rolling behind him, he decided to take public transport to get from the airport to the house. it was easy enough.... after he got lost. he was used to public transportation in japan, he used it every single day, so he was sure it wouldn't be much different in south korea. despite his confidence, he found himself terribly lost, having no idea where he took the wrong turn or exactly when he could have been considered lost. he wasn't scared though, it felt like an adventure. tango was having fun.

as tango stood in the wrong train station, dazing around and squinting at signs with a baffled look on his face, his own name managed to reach his ear. well it wasn't his name exactly, but it was close. what he actually heard was what he went by as an artist, "tangy." he glanced around to find the source. it was a group of about five teenagers, not much younger than him. some of them were gasping and pointing while some of them were pulling out their phones to take pictures and videos. the sight suprised the young musician. he had only just arrived in south korea, and there were already a few people who recognized him from across a room. he smiled and beckoned the group toward him.
they gasped, checked their surroundings, and pointed at themselves in question. tango nodded and beckoned again. as they approached, some looked nervous and others looked excited. the teens expressed their shock to one another about his appearance as they got closer to him, whispering things like "omo, he's so short!" and "he's so cute!"
"hello," he smiled up at them warmly. "hiii~" the group greeted happily in unison. "you know who i am?" tango pointed at himself. again, the group replied in unison. "yes!"
the young man giggled. "you guys are very in sync." he scratched his head. "i'm kind of lost... can you guys tell me how to get to this district?" he asked, showing his phone screen. the group knew exactly how to get there and gave him simple and easy directions, along with some tips on south korean public transport. he smiled wide and gave the teens a heartfelt thank-you and bow.
"oh, but-" one of them interrupted their farewells but trailed off. tango turned to her, "yes?"
"well, um.. why are you in korea? for vacation?" the rest of the group looked at their friend and agreed before laying all eyes back on tango in anticipation. the musician smiled. "i'm moving here actually." the group gasped. "really??" they asked in unison, to which tango nodded. "i'm happy to know that korean people are so friendly, you guys have eased any nerves that i may have had, thank you." the teenagers squealed. "let's all take a picture~" with one of their phones, everyone gathered into frame with big smiles stretched across each face, even tango's. "i hope to see you again at my next concert~" he said before bowing once more and parting ways.
now tango was down the street from his new home, getting closer with each step. as he approached, he noticed a moving truck. so he wasn't the only one moving in today. tango wondered how many others he was going to meet today. he watched a girl walk up to the door, knock, and loudly introduce herself. excitement radiated off of the girl. she was much more ready for this than tango was, no matter how much he would refuse to admit it.
he followed the girl who had yet to notice him up the path to the door. "you brought a lot of stuff," he said curiously, staring at the moving truck.
After spending most her day and night with plans and meetings, Suji has spent most her night working on her sketches, singing to herself as she struggled with her designs. She didn’t even know for sure what time she had fallen asleep, but she woke sometime around 4 or 5 in the morning and dragged herself to her room and passed out. She was sure she would get an earful for leaving downstairs a mess, but she had simply been to worn out to pick everything up. And it wasn’t like she wasn’t going to pick it up, she would when she got back up for the day.
The sound of commotion is what woke her up from her sleep. Suji sighed in annoyance and reached for her phone, realizing it was downstairs with the other stuff. She groaned, rolling back over and burying herself in the covers. She stared at her wardrobe from her bed, managing to sit-up and mentally picturing today’s outfit. Suji got dressed in her more casual formal look before realizing she had the day to herself to spend at home. With a sigh of annoyance, she changed into something more relaxed, but wasn’t afraid to go out in, just in case.
She tossed up her hair and decided it was good enough to leave the bedroom. Suji shuffled down the stairs and was greeted by the sight of Mira and Jun-Hoe. The thought of her brother being here and greeting her with a grin and ruffling her hair filled her mind and she quickly pushed it aside and tasked herself with finding her phone. After realizing it wasn’t where she had left it, she grimaced, turning to Jun-Hoe. “Jun-Hoe where did you put my stuff?” She asked looking around, spotting a box with belongings in it. “Found it.” She said apologetically, grabbing her phone and headphones. After realizing everything in the box had been all the items she had left last night she gave the box a shove toward her room and would put it away when she went back that way.
She grabbed her mug from a shelf and filled it with water and sat down near Jun-Hoe and Mira and she took a few sips. Unlocking her phone and checking for text, disappointed that there was none from Dae-Won. She put one earbud in and turn her attention to her two closet friends and smiled, noticing there tired states. “How....” she began to ask, but was interrupted by the sound of s door bell and a cheerful voice out side, soon accompanied by another voice. “Moving in today? Already?” She looked at the two she was sitting with in confusion, before realizing what day it was and setting down her mug and waddling to the door. Opening it s crack, closing her eyes against the harsh sunlight before opening it. She felt underdressed now, wishing she had kept her first outfit choice on. “Ah. Hello, come on in.” Suji said holding open the door and glancing between her friends and the newcomers.
Waking up early had never been a task that came easy to Yunho, although on days especially like this, it was necessary. Once his third alarm went off, he groaned at sat up, rubbing his eyes in an attempt to get the rest of the sleep out of them. The sun had just barely risen, although because he was meeting new people, Yunho felt the need to look extra presentable. He placed his clothes gently on the bed before heading towards his bathroom and plugging in his flat iron. His eyes were barely open as he did this, although he didn't need them to be, having long since memorized this part of his daily routine. He rubbed his eyes once more as he turned on the water and began washing his face whilst the iron heated up. Admittedly, it probably wasn't safe to use water near a plugged in iron, though Yunho had stopped caring a little while ago. He hummed a small tune whilst he washed his face, and once he was done with brushing his teeth he tested the iron to see if it were ready. When it was, he began straightening his hair, running it through his quickly straightening locks. 'Don't burn. Don't burn. Don't-' Yunho cursed softly as the hot iron touched his scalp, and he immediately pulled it away, gently rubbing away at his head to try to ease the pain. "Every. Single. Time." He mumbled bitterly to himself as he continued nursing his head until the burning pain dulled into a mild ache. After straightening his hair almost every day (only taking small breaks so as not to damage it) one would think that he'd be a master of it by now. In fact, it was still quite the opposite, and he almost never went without burning himself at least once during the twenty or so minutes he spent on his hair. 'Seo hyeon's so much better at this than I am...' He thought, remembering how his sister used to effortlessly straighten his and her hair back when they still lived with their parents. She was studying in America now so the two definitely didn't get to see each on in person as much anymore, but they often used Kakaotalk to catch up on things and call when they could. Time zones had become a major pain since Seo Hyeon left.
When Yunho finished ironing his hair, he unplugged the iron, intending to wait until it had cooled off to put it away. He paused for a moment when he realized just how silent it was inside his small apartment, and decided that he quickly needed to change that. Pulling out his phone he put on his morning playlist, placing it down on his bathroom sink so that he wouldn't have to hold it whilst he brushed his hair. Almost immediately after the first song came on he found his legs moving a bit to the beat, and as he grabbed his brush he did a little turn. 'This is probably why everyone thinks I take so long getting ready...' Yunho thought with a small smile as he ran a brush through his now straightened hair. When he decided that he looked presentable (from the head up) he left the bathroom, almost forgetting his phone as he headed back into his bedroom. Of course, he was dancing his way back, and he was sure that if anyone were looking, they'd think he'd lost his mind. He looked down at the clothes that he had placed on his bed. Tilting his head, he wondered whether or not he should change them into something different. 'Perhaps this is too casual?... But I'm only moving, it's not like I'm meeting royalty... Still, good first impressions are a must...' Yunho continued his internal conflict and began biting his nail a bit as his nervousness spiked. This was really not how he wanted to start. 'I'll just stay with this' Yunho thought at he finally began shedding his pajamas, throwing on his clothes for the day. He walked over to his dresser and put his several piercings in, before making sure that he sprayed himself with some of his perfume, putting it in his suitcase afterwards. Most of his things were being transported sometime next week (even though he didn't live that far) so he had only packed his necessities. Still though, he was a bit sad that he'd have to part with his old dance costumes, though he reassured himself by saying it would only be for a little while.
He dragged his suitcase and duffel bag down the stairs, putting them by the front door before heading into the kitchen. There wasn't much inside of it food wise, although he passed any food that was there and headed straight into the fridge, grabbing a bottle of strawberry milk. He sat down at the only chair at his dining table and absentmindedly scrolled through his phone as he drank his "breakfast". It definitely wasn't much, but it would last him until lunch time, possibly even dinner if he ate a little earlier than usual. He had to be careful and make sure that he didn't eat too many snacks because he was sure that he had put on some weight these past few days. Deep down, he knew that it was just him being paranoid, but it still didn't stop him from dieting. When he finished his breakfast he rinsed the bottle out and put it in his recycling bin. Checking the time, he saw that it was a little past ten in the morning, and he could only hope that he wouldn't be disturbing anyone when he went to the new house. He ran his hands through his hair a few times to make sure it was placed properly as he headed to the front door, picking up his things. Sadly, he didn't have a car, and would instead be taking a taxi, meaning he'd have to walk a bit to get out of his neighborhood. He didn't mind it much, because despite most thinking the weather was bad, he actually quite enjoyed the clouds. "Hopefully it'll rain today." He mumbled out loud to himself, not realizing that he had done so. He had also failed to realize that his music had still been playing until he got several strange stares from others, and he quickly fumbled with his phone for almost a full minute before he managed to pause his music. He sighed when he did and shoved his phone back into his back pocket, his sweatshirt falling back down to cover it. 'Stop embarrassing yourself Yunho...' He thought, mentally slapping himself before walking a bit faster.
The walk to the main streets had actually been rather brisk, and Yunho wondered how the time had gone by so quickly, perhaps it was because he had gotten lost in thought. He called for the first taxi he saw, and soon enough he was on his way to his new house. Whilst in the car he began wondering what his roommates would be like. Perhaps they would hate him, but then again, this wasn't high school. He was going to live with other adults, some of which were probably older than him, and definitely more mature, maybe. The thought helped him relax a bit, and he was no longer so stiff sitting inside the car. Despite this, as soon as they pulled into the neighborhood, Yunho felt his anxiety spike back up, and he began chewing on his nail again, his leg bouncing slightly as he glanced back and forth between the houses. He pondered going back home as they pulled up in the driveway, but he didn't want to annoy the taxi driver. "Thank you." He said as he payed the man for his service before pulling his things out the trunk of the car. Glancing up, he saw that he wasn't the first to arrive at the house, and it also meant that the chances of him disturbing people had lowered. He walked up to the people already standing outside and bowed slightly, not noticing the girl standing in the doorway until after, to which he bowed slightly to her as well. Looking them over, they all seemed pretty friendly, and there was even a boy that was shorter than him (he counted it, even if it were only by a centimeter or two). There was also a tall girl, and by tall, he meant tall. It was a little intimidating actually. Still though, he wasn't judging based on first appearances alone, because he knew all too well that looks could be deceiving. Despite there being a small smile on his face, there was an obvious nervousness in his eye, although he didn't look directly at anyone's face in an attempt to mask it a little bit. He didn't want to seem like too much of a ball of anxiety before he even stepped through the door after all. floralkoalaoffbeatdiablitatiny grass is dreaming

Jung-hee woke up to the sound of her phone's alarm blaring by her ear. She became annoyed at the fact that her dream had been interrupted and whined as she picked up her device. The time on her phone displayed the current time and date: 9:30 AM | Sunday, August 3rd. Seeing as she was half asleep, she sat herself up a bit and stayed in bed for about a half hour playing mobile games to wake herself up. It was a lame excuse not to get up, but she couldn't miss the login bonuses and nice messages she would receive from the anime girls on her phone. Soon enough, it was already 10 AM and Jung-hee had to practically force herself out of bed.
She dragged herself to the bathroom and checked herself out in the mirror, making odd faces and posing for her reflection. Getting down to business, she brushed her teeth and washed her face. Knowing her, she had to take a shower the night before, or else she would've taken ages to get out in the morning. She changed into a predetermined outfit and used the rest of her time to put on a bit of makeup. She grabbed her things and said her goodbyes to her family, promising to keep in touch.
She finally hailed a taxi after what seemed like hours of waiting and was well on her way to her new home. The whole way there, she had been talking to the taxi driver. Anyone outside of their conversation would have thought they were good friends based on the vibe they were giving off. She eventually asked him to stop about a street away from the building, as she didn't want to give away her location. She may have been a bit too friendly with the stranger, and didn't want to take any chances.
When Jung-hee arrived at her destination, she was greeted by a large, modern looking building, with several people at its doorstep. An exceptionally tall girl and two surprisingly short males. She was shocked by their immense height differences. She noticed the moving truck and quickly assumed that they were staying there as well and approached them.
"Oh, hi! You guys must be moving in here right?" she asked, trying to stop herself from questioning their appearances. She wasn't sure whether to look up or down and soon enough she began speaking to the girl. "Wow, you're tall! But I'm sure you get that a lot. A lot of people must be very intimidated by you. I know I am," she exclaimed, "I'm Yon Jung-hee." Her demeanor didn't show a hint of feeling inferior whatsoever, as absolutely no thought went into what came pouring out of her mouth. She decided to get rid of any tension and went straight past the formalities.
She turned to one of the short males and was surprised at not only their height difference but the fact that she recognized him as a musician. "Ah! You're that artist, Tangy! I've heard of a few of your songs!" she quickly sang a lyric from one of his famous tracks and laughed. "I'm a good singer aren't I?" she asked. At that point in the conversation it would've been difficult to tell if that was a serious question or not. "A lot of girls must be dying to be in the position I'm in," she said in a more alluring tone.
Jung-hee soon noticed the other male not meeting anyone's eyes and assumed that he was nervous or sad. "Don't look so sad! It's moving day! A new place, new roommates, and best of all, you get to meet yours truly," she said confidently as she rested a hand on her chest. She quickly bounced from one person to the next in an attempt to bring up the mood.
Not long after, the door opened and there was a girl standing in the doorway. "Hello!" she waved, before stepping inside, amazed by the room's decor. She looked around and saw the two other residents, sitting at the kitchen table. Jung-hee turned her attention to the woman resting her head on the man's shoulder and approached them rather flamboyantly. "You two seem close. Looks like I won't be stealing as many hearts as I thought," she let out an exaggerated sigh.
class="tabsContent tabsContent1"][div class=container][div class=textbox] "Mm. Good morning." Mira greeted as her fellow female resident came strolling into the main living area, her face still stricken with sleep. There was something honestly wrong with the three of them. Their sleeping schedules were all over the place--though Jun-hoe had it the worse. Poor guy was suffering from insomnia and that was kind of how the two of them became friends. Mira's schedule led her to coming home at the peeks of the morning and saluted by her male best friend.
"Ah, I guess they're already here." Stated the female as eyes wandered after Suji, who seemed to have forgotten they were receiving newcomers that day.
One by one, unfamiliar faces began filing in. There were two females and two males, all with contrasting heights. Mira was actually pleasantly surprised to see the tallest individual was one of the woman who looked like she could've been an entire foot taller than everyone.
"Hello, I'm Kang Mira," Mira greeted as she lifted her head off Jun-hoe's shoulder. Standing up and brushing herself off slightly, the woman offered a short bow and allowed her elegant grin stretch from ear to ear. The other female--Mira obviously didn't know her name-- already seemed like a lot of work as she openly expressed her flamboyance.
"Ah... me and him?" The dark-haired cellist turned back and let out a small laugh, crossing her arms as she continued to speak. "I don't even think he sees me as a woman." She shook her head and waved her arm in emphasis. "You're free to go after him. Maybe finally having a girlfriend will make him less grouchy." Mira knelt down and playfully nudged her roomie before walking off to welcome the others.
"The house isn't as clean as normal, sorry about that." As much cleaning as Mira did, things were hectic the last couple of weeks so the dust began piling up. The house itself was normally squeaky clean and often had a scent that reminded someone of the beach or even the fruity tropics. The fact that she didn't come home last night to clean didn't help either. At least it was livable and comfortable, even if it didn't exactly scream five start hotel.
"Do any of you need any help moving stuff in?" Mira asked as she looked around, the aura around her warm and calm as she made eye contact with each individual. She made sure to bow to each person as she walked towards the door, closing it so the cool air wouldn't get out. After realizing she'd failed to mention something important, she quickly apologize. "Oh, right!" She clapped her hands together. "We should probably figure out which rooms everyone will be staying in." Eyeing the group, she counted each head to double check and noted that one person was missing. They'd just have to get what was left then, she supposed.
"I'm fine with rooming with anyone since I don't really sleep in my room anyways. I spend a lot of my time at work or at the university so someone who's a deep sleeper or a night owl is a perfect fit. Ah, my room is also on the first floor." Hopefully one of the females met the standards. If not, Mira guessed she'd have to pack up and move in with Suji or vice versa since they were comfortable around each other. Mira just figured it'd be better for both of them to have a new roommate though.[/div][/div][/div][div
Arata woke up to the sound of his phone buzzing and clattering to the floor as it fell off the desk space he set up. Taking in his surroundings, he realized he had fallen asleep with not only his glasses on, but in paint as well. He was used to paint covered hands, but his face? That was a new one. Adjusting his glasses, he glanced around the room, staring blankly at the packed suitcase by the door with three boxes. 'I should have just bought new art supplies here. Oh yeah thats only my expensive stuff never mind.' He thought to himself, smiling sheepishly as he remembered all the supplies he had given to a daycare and schools because of his hoarding habits. One of the boxes had his easel, another had canvases, the other had his prized supplies. He picked up his phone, glancing at the time and rubbed CoCo's head before heading to the bathroom to change and wash his face.
After putting on the outfit he laid out, he cleaned up his mess and finished packing what he left out, moving the boxes to the rental car his friend had helped him get. Taking a last minute look around to make sure he didn't leave anything behind, nor a mess for his friend, he grabbed a sticky note and told his friend that he was leaving. It was a shame he couldn't say it face to face since the other had work, but it wasn't like they wouldn't see each other. He was sure it was better that he found a different place since the couch wasn't all that comfortable with a full grown husky on top of him. "Alright CoCo let's go for a short walk before we leave. " He said, watching the husky run for the door. Laughing, he grabbed the leash and his phone, heading after his companion.
After the walk Arata got CoCo to settle into the passenger seat of the car and was a few minutes into the ride when his phone starting ringing with texts and calls from his family. Hesitantly, Arata grabbed and read the text, not bothering to answer the text. His relationship wasn't bad with his family, but he still didn't want to answer their calls after their fallout argument when he told them his decision to move. He looked over at CoCo who had started to paw at the phone in his hand. "I know, I know. I'll answer them later, once I've settled in. Promise." He told the dog, pulling up to the apartment, glancing at all the people and the truck from what he assumed was a moving company. As he put the car into park and cut off the engine, he noticed the paint on his hands. Cursing himself, he put the keys and his phone in his pockets, pulling his jacket sleeves over his hands. "Of all days to forget the paint on my hands." He mumbled, getting out and grabbing his suitcase, then letting CoCo out, holding the suitcase in one hand and the leash in the other.
He walked to the door, bowing as he stepped inside. It seemed he walked in in the midst of a conversation. "Ah hello sorry I'm a bit late." He said, realizing he had switched to his native tongue. He could feel his hands shake in embarrassment. "I mean, Hello sorry I'm late. " He stated again, darting his eyes around the room trying to not make contact with everyone. So far it didn't seem to be going well for him. "i hope you guys don't mind dogs?" He asked, biting his lip, looking down at CoCo who was trying to rub aganist the nearest people. He gave a late wave to everyone as he realized he hadn't introduced himself. "Im Arata, It's.." He had to pause as he fumbled over his korean because of his nerves. "to meet everyone.

Soon after she rang the bell, Yo Won heard a voice curiously mentioning her moving truck.
"Yeah, It's my parent's house." Yo Won stated. She had been bringing many things from her parent's house to her new location because of how small her former apartment used to be. "I'm bringing some of my plants and furniture from back home."
She turned around, revealing a rather petite man behind her. He seemed familiar from somewhere, but she couldn't quite remember him. The boy was about a foot shorter than she was and could've passed for an adolescent if it weren't for the stubble on his chin. "Ah, you must be one of the new members!" She asserted. She motioned for him to shake her hand, revealing a rather charming smile along with the gesture.
Presently after, other members began to appear in her hindsight. Some were cordial & zealous while others were more comparable to a puppy meeting new people. Another trait others seemed to share is their marvel to her height. One of the members seemed to be somewhat apprehensive & quiet in her presence while another one of the member's seemed to openly display what she felt towards her height. "Yeah, I got that a lot — my friends think I'm pretty swell though. Oh, and I'm Yo Won; Hwang Yo Won." She replied, her voice hiding a slight chuckle from the throat.
As Yo Won walked in, two others welcomed the members of the house. The inside of the house was minimalistic and modern in design, although it seemed very comfortable. The girl waved to the others in the house and looked at her new surroundings, taking snapshots in her mind. Jung Hee interrupted the process with her mention of the young woman and the man's relationship with another. Like a jester in court, Yo Won chuckled and replied to the comment, "Ah, if they were a couple, wouldn't they have been Jung Hee and Chul Soo?" she jested, ending it with a chortle. Like the comedian she was, she couldn't resist making the joke, no matter how corny it was.
On a more serious note, Yo Won had taken Mira's suggestion for help. "I might need help actually; it's been very long since I've touched some of these boxes." she confessed, scratching her head in revelation. Mira had also mentioned roommates, which she had been most excited about. "What's more exciting than new friends?" she thought.
In the middle of that thought, a young male and a dog walked into the house, apologizing about his late arrival. "Oh, a dog!" She said excitedly, completely forgetting abou the new member for a few seconds until she looked up. She cleared her throat, then greeted the boy with a bow. "Hello!" she added, motioning for another handshake.

Jun-hoe sat with his eyes half shut and arms crossed over his chest as he waited. He felt a thud on his shoulder as Mira sat down next to him. He sighed and leaned back in his chair as to make a better headrest, considering that he had previously been slouched over the table. Su-jing appeared as well, placing herself on another of the chairs. "Good morning" He said, tiredness deepening his voice a bit.
Not short after, however, the door bell rang for the first time today. For the first time this week if he were to be honest, they didn't really have a lot of guests here, except for the occasional visits from friends.
He saw a flood of strangers flow into his home. Sure, he knew they were coming, but the feeling was still a bit odd. He eyed them all, with a subconscious frown present. First through the door came a female giant, pretty rad. Jun-hoe was usually the tallest in his circles, but this was a good change of pace. Despite the serious and almost angry look on his face, he stared in awe before he spotted the male behind her. Tiny in comparison, he recognized the face. He wasn't too good with names in the music industry, but he knew the boy was a musician. He could tell by his presence, he seemed like such a creative one, the type to always have some kind of artistry going on.
The following two to arrive were complete opposites of each other, one of them being loud and outgoing, and the second almost disappearing in the group. The look on the boys face was one of rock solid nervousness, despite him desperately trying to hide it. Jun-hoe felt a bit sympathetic seeing this, wanting to do something to ease the boy's nerves, but not knowing what that was.
Jun-hoe was just about to stand up when he heard the comment about him and Mira, Jun-hoe simply raised a curious brow. He'd heard that a lot actually, from friends at university and once from a stranger on the bus. He hadn't paid much attention to it though, caring little to nothing about the opinions of others. "maybe finally having a girlfriend will make him less grouchy." Mira had said, to which Jun-hoe spun his head around in a millisecond. "What the fuck, do you wanna die?" he hissed.
Jun-hoe moved along, making sure to greet everyone with a firm handshake and a quick bow, just like he'd always been taught to do.
As he was about to talk, he was interrupted by a dog bursting through the door, followed by what appeared to be his owner. Startled to say the least he took a step backwards. Not that he didn't like dogs - they were really cute - he just wasn't expecting a pet. Jun-hoe looked up from the dog and at the guy who walked in. He bowed slightly as a greeting before turning toward the group as a whole.
"Im Jun-hoe, pleasure to meet you." He said, maybe too formally. "I have a spare bed in my room on the top floor, and there's an empty room for two over there." he continued and motioning his arm toward the far left end.
Quite shockingly, all of the new tenants seemed to begin coming at once, and surprised was quite the understatement of what Yunho was feeling. Some of them seemed energetic (extremely so) and others seemed to be a bit more on the tired side. Still though, none of them seemed to scream "I'm going to bite your head off" which was relieving on many different levels for the petite male. He listened as the others conversed, the girl that introduced herself as Jung-hee seeming like she was on a sugar rush or something of the sort. It was a bit refreshing actually, since he sure as hell wasn't going to try break the walls or try to lift the mood if it were up to him. He'd probably end up embarrassing himself or offending someone else if he ever tried that. Jung-hee commented on the other girl's height, and for a moment Yunho was worried that she would get upset, but she didn't, instead acting mostly nonchalant and introducing herself as Yo Won. 'This isn't so bad..,' He thought to himself just before Jung-hee began speaking to the other male. Tangy, as she called him, was apparently a musician. Suddenly, any nerves that had left came back, and for once the male was regretting not really being up to date on the trends and music artists. Despite seeming so young, this guy seemed relatively famous, especially since he was being recognized on the streets like this.
Because of his love for music in general (although recently he had been staying with what he knew), he wondered if he'd get to hear any of Tangy's music. Yunho then made a mental note to look up some of the other's music, whilst also trying not to seem too creepy. Yunho almost hadn’t heard as the girl began speaking to him, and jumped slightly in shock when he realized that he was being pulled into a conversation and not just listening to them anymore. For some reason, he'd been expecting all conversation to brush right over him, although he quickly learned that this wasn't the case this time. The girl seemed confident in what she was saying, which reassured him a bit because at least one of them seemed to know what they were doing. Yunho was a bit worried that he’d step on a land mine if he spoke too much, because he had a small habit of rambling and once he got going it was hard to stop. “I’m just a bit nervous. I’ve never moved in with so many people before.” Yunho said with a bit of a nervous chuckle, and it was the truth. He’d only ever lived with family before. The apartment that he was moving from had been shared with Seo Hyeon before she moved to the states. Instead of finding a new roommate, Yunho decided to get a place that was closer to his campus (his old apartment being almost an hour away by car), and this was the best place it seemed.
Luckily, before he had the chance to say anything else and potentially ruin the mood, they were being let inside the house. "Thank you." Yunho said towards the girl who let them in, trying to put on a small smile, and although it worked (thanks to hours of practice from dance) it didn't quite meet his goal of reaching his eyes. He looked around the house a bit, his eyes only darting through the rooms that he could see, he didn't want to be rude and start snooping around right away after all. The house was nice and spacious looking, though minimal and modern as well. He didn't look around anymore once he noticed that there were two people in the kitchen, both of them seeming quite close. Yunho had been getting ready to wonder whether or not they were a couple, but the girl (whom introduced herself as Mira) quickly cancelled that idea. It was quite humorous for him to watch their "banter" and if it hadn't been for the fact that he didn't want to anger them for laughing (mainly the male since he was definitely the most intimidating out of this batch) he would have. Mira apologized for the place not being all that clean, although Yunho really didn't see the problem. He knew that the two of them most definitely had different standards when it came to clean, although he knew it wasn't a bad thing either.
She then clapped her hands together and began talking about roommates, which was something that had definitely slipped his mind until just then. Like Mira, he was fine with rooming with anyone, although he didn't want to make any of the girls uncomfortable, and would try to room with a boy. It seemed likely, since the genders were pretty even for the most part. There was one more girl than boy, although Yunho didn't know if any other people were coming or not. Almost as if on cue, another person (luckily male) came in, a dog following after him. The dog was extremely cute, and he internally melted at the sight a little (although luckily on the outside he kept what he thought was composure). Yunho knew it was weird of him to think so, but he was actually quite happy that there seemed to be another person as nervous as himself now. It felt like everyone else was used to this, and he wouldn't be surprised if they were, although he wasn't, and he knew that he probably wasn't going to be used to it tomorrow either. When the male now known as Arata introduced himself, Yunho realized that in his nervousness he had forgotten to do so himself, and mentally slapped himself for his stupidity. Out of all the things he had to forget, it had to be his name didn't it? Still though, he didn't know how to introduce himself without making it seem awkward, since his chance to do so had already passed. He then decided that he'd just wait for when he saw an opening the next time.
when the girl in front of his turned to speak face to face with him, that wasn't exactly the result. tango craned his neck to return a smile equally as refreshing as her own. he nodded to confirm her assumption and shook her hand, taking note of how friendly she seemed having offered a handshake instead of just a bow. "i'm go tango."
a taxi pulled up and out of it came a rather timid looking young man. already they had something in common, and that was height, or lack thereof. tango returned his bow, he meant to match the bow but ended up going a little lower than the other due to how slight his bow was. tango was going to say something reassuring to ease the boy's nerves, but next came a pastel-headed girl who interrupted his thoughts with her loud entrance.
her personality immediately created a change in the air around them. she was bright and loud, but a different kind of bright from yo won. yo won was sunny, but this girl was beaming. she decided to speak to yo won first, of course mentioning her height. she then turned to tango. the way his eyes widened so abruptly when she called him by his musician alias showed that he was rather humble for someone who could make a living entirely off of his album and concert sales. it was strange, for some reason he would never expect anyone to actually recognize him by face when out in the streets of south korea despite how much of his music was actually in korean. he could never really grasp the concept of how popular he was, even in japan he would be shocked at how many people had come to his concerts, or the fact that any of them happened to sell out, or how many times on the street he would get stopped for pictures.
tango felt his heart flutter when she sang one of his lyrics. his reaction was visible, too, as his shoulders seemed to tense up and his smile widened into a teeth-bearing grin. he pulled his hand up over his mouth, giggling at her last comment. he watched as she encouraged the timid one and he replied. "that's alright," he pitched in. "all of us are quite friendly as you can see, so there isn't anything to fear. you can be comfortable around me, and jung hee-ssi seems to have made herself at home even if we haven't even made it through the front door yet!" he gave the boy a smile so warm it could heal and placed a hand gently on his shoulder as a heartening gesture. "loosen up, for everyone deserves to live comfortably!"

the door opened then, behind it was a woman who greeted the group and welcomed them all in. he followed behind yo won, and probably wasn't visible until he stepped off to the side take off his shoes. the girls had been exchanging jokes as he untied his sneakers, but he was listening intently. tango took note of how much of a jokester jung hee was, humor was something he greatly admired in a person. he knew he end up trying to spend lots of time with her. when tango stepped up, jun hoe seemed about ready to bite off his roommate's head. tango lifted a hand up to his mouth and giggled at the man's retort. he exchanged hands and bows with the tall man.
a dog managed to find it's way in through the front door, but the first thing that grabbed tango's attention was his native language meeting his ears. he turned to find the source, and it was a young japanese man, holding the leash of a large husky who in no way hesitated to introduce himself to everyone in the house. arata's presence visibly excited tango, who seemed to jump a little bit in happiness. not wanting to interrupt, the musician waited until the others greeted him before approaching and doing so himself. "hello! i'm tango," he beamed with a bow, seeming more cheerful than when he introduced himself to the others. "what's your dog's name? she's so cu~ute" he bent over to give coco a rub behind her ears. "are you okay? you seem a bit nervous. you can trust me, even if i've just met the new roommates a few minutes before you have, i can tell they're nothing to be intimidated by," he giggled. despite how he still used formal language, he spoke with a sense of familiarity to arata. tango felt a connection to the dog owner already, just from a shared ethnic background, so he didn't hesitate to act comfortably with him. "are you good at korean?" he asked as he noticed arata's stuttering earlier when he introduced himself the first time.
though there were a few words that tango didn't know or would often forget, tango saw himself as someone who was very fluent. he would love to tutor someone else if they were looking for something like that.
Suji left the door open as she watched the various residents fill the room. Now somewhat more awake than she had been, she observed the group. The first female of the group and the one who had rung the door bell, was very cheerful and ....tall. Yo Won had to be at least ten to twenty centimeters taller than her. Despite the girls friendly aura, Suji couldn't help but feel nervous around the girl. The next, a small boy she heard introduce himself as Tango or something of the like, seemed to be slightly nervous as well, but was still in the conversation unlike the other boy who yet to introduce himself. It was odd to see such a varying height difference, or at least to her. Next came another girl who was pretty much equally cheerful as cheerful as Yo Won.
As she stopped staring at others and coming back to what was currently happening she heard Jun-Hoe speaking with Mira and instantly walked over and protectively hugged her friend. "Do YOU want to die?" She stated, giving him a playful yet serious glare. Suji held the hug for a few more seconds before untangling herself from Mira. She put her earbuds away and retrieved her mug from the counter, pouring more water in it and she moved back to the group. As everyone slowly introduced themselves, she smiled and bowed in return to those that did. "I'm Ping Su-Jing, but everyone calls me Suji. " She introduced herself one she had counted the last arrival, a boy with a dog. The boy was either really nervous or wasn't to fluent in Korean. She wasn't sure which upon the first impression.
Tango took to conversing with Arata and closing the opportunity for her to pet the dog. She pouted, before jumping into on the conversation about rooms and roommates. "Ah~~ Roomates. " Suji said, leaning her head against Mira's shoulder. "My room like Grumpy over there is on the top floor. Warning I tend to sing in my sleep, habits die hard." She smiled sweetly, before giving an innocent look toward Jun-Hoe as she called him grumpy. "Should we decide roomates now or at least get everyones stuff inside? " Suji asked. She much rather room with Mira, but that was just because she hated change. She was improving since she moved here, but had it been her way, she would have moved out with Dae-Won. However she in the end remained in the house while he moved to where-ever to continue his dreams. Thoughts aside, she just hoped she could get along with whoever she roomed with.

"Don't worry! I see you as a woman," Jung-hee said proudly, as if her affection was the greatest gift to ever receive. She snickered at the woman's comment and turned to the male. It wasn't long before she couldn't suppress her laughter when she heard the man's reaction. Seeing him become so easily irritated made her curious about him. She wanted to tease him as often as she could. "Oh come on I'm not that bad!" she whined, pretending to pout.
"Ah, Grumpy!" she gasped, "That'll be my nickname for you!" She chuckled at the thought. She was so bouncy and hyper that she had already decided to nickname this stranger before even knowing his name.
Upon mention of their rooms Jung-hee became ecstatic. She couldn't wait to get to know the rest and already started wondering what her new roommate would be like. "It doesn't particularly matter to me," she shrugged, "I can adapt to any living situation, and I'm sure that anyone would be able to room with me as well." She had a smug look on her face as she said this, essentially congratulating herself for being so courteous.
When she heard Yo Won's request for help, Jung-hee jumped to offer her services. "I can help you, Yo Won," she offered cheerfully whilst approaching the giant.
Not long after did another resident enter the building. He didn't look like he was South Korean and her suspicion was confirmed when she heard him speak Japanese. She, of course, didn't understand what he said, but she recognized the way the language sounded. She was about to greet him before she saw a dog by his feet. Her eyes lit up and she scuttled over, kneeling down in front of the animal. She raised a gentle hand to the dog before deciding to pet him. "Aw! He's so cute!" she squealed, "How long have you had him for? Dogs are really adorable and friendly but I'm sure he's hard to handle at times."
Jung-hee now stood up to speak to the dog's owner and noticed the sleeves of his jacket covering his hands. "Why are you covering your hands?" she asked, grabbing for his hands to hold them up, "Do you have a scar or something?"

Yo Won smiled at Jung Hee, taking her hand and offer of help to unload the moving truck. As soon as Su Ji mentioned roommates, she added to the topic. "Obviously," she said as motioned towards her height, "I'm your average girl," she advised sarcastically. "I'm gonna need who's gonna deal with my daily morning runs and my late practices, just like Mira;" she added. "However, we could all just draw straws. I mean, it's not like we're sleeping in bed with each other." she giggled. "Although, it seems like some wouldn't oppose to it." She teased, looking towards Tango's direction and smirking playfully. Soon after this, a new member came in. His name was Arata.
"You can't be serious!"
Before Yo Won could take another breath towards the new member, a wade of words of in Japanese was being thrown at her ears like confetti. She stood behind Arata and Tango, looking at them as if like actors on a play. The dog seemed to be unfazed, and even though others petted it, she couldn't stop but wonder what those two were talking about. Paying attention to the words as if she understood, she looked back and forth which was then hindered by Jung Hee's fascination of his hands. Yo Won had noticed the new member's rendered hands as well. They were covered by the sleeves of his jacket, seeming to hide something. But what was he hiding? Was it scars; was he a boxer? Thoughts raced her head like a pair of speeding cars on a track. Jung Hee sauntered herself to the boy, grabbing his hands and revealing the assorted shades of the rainbow being strewn across his hands. Suddenly, the mystery of the boy became scuttled. "What?" Yo Won uttered aloud. "W-what?" she said again, only to belch out an impetuous guffaw along with it. The girl laughed for a while, almost mockingly so. "I-I can't." she choked, wiping the tears from her eyes. She walked towards him and feigned a punch at his arm. "What are you so embarrassed about? You should own your battle scars!" she remarked. "So what's you're poison in art? Murals? Easels?" she said nonchalantly as if no one heard her howling laughter earlier.

Arata kinda just stood there awkwardly like a lost child. CoCo was more than excited at the sight of the other people, wagging his tail and rubbing aganist the others to get pats and love. Arata was sure if he had let go of the leash CoCo would tackle someone just to be petted. He could still feel his hands shaking a bit after he had basically failed speaking. Sure Korean wasn't his native language, but he was fluent enough in it. It just made him anxoius when he had messed up infront of several other people he would be living with. He gave bows to everyone as the introduced themselves or said hello. The way some of the other's reacted to CoCo made him slightly nervous until he noticed it wasn't the reaction he had thought it would be.
'tango. tango' he thought trying to memorize everyones name. "His name is CoCo." Arata answered Tango's question watching as CoCo pretty much instantly sat down and nudged Tango for more petting. "Very attention seeking. He muttered, nodding at Tango. "My Korean is fine, it's just nerves." he replied, keeping to formality. Hearing his native language nade him a lot more comfrable around Tango. The more use he got to the environment he visibly relaxed, seeming more comfortable than his entrance. As the girl with pastel hair joined in CoCo's group of affection, Arata got more questions about the dog. 'Of course, the dog gets all the attention.' He thought until the attention was directed toward him. "About two years or so? He still acts like a puppy. He answered, watching as the woman whom he thought introduced herself as Jung Hee grabbed his hands. " I would prefer if y- he was cut off as another girl, the tall one, grabbed his hands and pulled down the sleeves before busting out laughing at her discovery.
'What if they don't like artist? What if someone disapproves like dad?' Thoughts fueled his self-doubt as he quickly covered his hands back up, shoving his hands in his pockets at her laughter. He didn't look anyone in the eye, just stared off as she continued laughing. It didn't help his insecurity and it just overall made him feel like the couch at his friends was much more appealing than he originally thought. "I think I'm going to get my stuff out the car if no one minds I'll take the empty room with whoever else chooses it. " He said, giving a smile, but avoiding the two girls that had mentioned his hands.

Jung-hee rolled her luggage over next to the empty bed and threw the rest of her things onto the floor with it. She soon found herself falling onto the bed as she let out a long sigh of relief. "Ah, so soft!" she exclaimed, smiling into her pillow as she hugged it tightly. It hadn't even been a day since she last slept and she was already tiring herself out.
She sat up, still clinging onto the pillow like a stuffed animal and surveyed the room. It was big enough to hold two beds, a desk, and maybe a few other things as well. She looked around, trying to decide where to keep her things. I can charge my phone here, and maybe set my laptop and drawing tablet over there as well... She soon became frustrated with herself and couldn't simply decide by imagining it. She got up and grabbed her things, unzipping and untying everything. She dumped the contents of her bags onto the once empty bed, tied her hair up, and began sorting.
Jung-hee finally finished after hanging up her last piece of clothing in the closet. She was proud of herself for having finished unpacking and gave herself a pat on the back. I was so productive today. I bet the others still have yet to unpack or clean their rooms. Maybe I should go check on them? Before leaving, she wanted to make herself comfortable and changed her skin tight black skirt into a pair of short athletic shorts. She was the last person you would ever see going out for a run, let alone even wake up early in the morning, but she always had a decent amount of athletic wear at her disposal.
She stepped out of her room and after scanning the doors of the hallway before deciding to go upstairs to check on the others. She noticed a door that was slightly ajar and peeked inside. She saw Arata setting up his art supplies. Hehe, a little artist at work I see. She decided not to pester him for the time being, as she wanted to greet the rest and see how they were doing.
On her way down the stairs she smelled something cooking. Following the scent, she saw Suji cooking in the kitchen. She heard her humming and giggled at how cute it was. She walked by her, attempting to hum the same tune she was despite not recognizing the tune.
As she walked by her new roommate, she saw Mira in the backyard by the grill. Were they having a cookout on the first day? She looked so focused on what she was doing, having a sort of mysterious yet mature aura to her. Ah. Am I already falling for her? This isn't some weird shoujo manga. She rolled her eyes. She walked over to the set of couches on the small platform and rested an arm over the back of the couch. "Wow, you look so mature setting up that grill." she purred, with a sly grin plastered onto her face. She chuckled to herself before stretching her arms and standing up. "Ah. Do you need help with anything?" she asked casually as if she had just forgotten what she had said not much earlier.

It went from noon to early evening fairly quickly. Mira helped Yo-won and whomever else needed help moving their stuff in. She, along with her old roommates, showed the newcomers around and it was decided that Yo-won would room with Mira, Jung-hee with Suji, Yun-ho with Jun-hoe, and the remaining two taking up the empty room on the first floor. After everyone figured out where they were staying, the Japanese female helped her new roommate as much as she could with organizing before retreating to the bathroom for a quick shower.
Once she'd showered, changed, and consulted with Jun-hoe on what to do for dinner, she went out alone and brought back a massive amount of groceries. It was difficult to haul it all over, but a few gentlemen and sympathetic spectators assisted her in carrying some of the groceries until they had to part ways.
Suji was already getting her own dinner ready before Mira headed towards the back, slabs of different types of pork in her hands. It took her a while to get the grill going, much to her dismay (Jun-hoe usually dealt with the grilling stuff but he was no where in sight). Once it was piping hot and ready to begin cooking, she quickly began placing the meet on the racks and watched them sizzle.
"Ehh, mature?" Mira responded, a small smile on her lips as she continued cooking, only glancing up to acknowledge the person now in her presence. Being called mature wasn't something she was unfamiliar with. Out of all the people in her age group, she tended to be the most grounded and controlled. Even though that was the case, she had her perky and childish moments. Jung-hee would probably catch drift of that soon.
"Um..." The woman sighed as she tried to think, tongs flipping the cooking slabs of pork every so often. "Maybe find Jun-hoe and ask him why I'm manning the grill and he isn't?" She laughed lightly before waving her hand to ensure Jung-hee she was joking. "If you wouldn't mind helping, the vegetables in the fridge need to be cut and washed. After that's done, we can call everyone out for dinner."[/div][/div][/div][div
Admittedly, Jun-hoe hadn't really introduced himself properly. He knew himself well, and knew that he could appear rather cold at first sight. Thing was, he's the type of person who'd rather stand back and get a general idea of the person before striking up a conversation. He liked to somewhat know if it was worth his time. Some would call it judgmental, he preferred the term cautious.
After everyone had arrived, even the one running late, there had been a pretty stiff conversation about who should room with whom - everyone kept saying they didn't mind who they roomed with, resulting in a loop of "no, you pick". Luckily enough, they eventually made a decision. It turned out, Jun-hoe's new roommate was going to be the kid with a comically similar name to his, Yun-ho.
Not long after, everyone had spread out completely. Mira had run off shopping for groceries, and had returned not too long after with too many bag to carry on her own. He was about to help her, he really was, but out of pure laziness he stopped himself and walked out of sight as to not have a 'hey would you help me out?' coming his way. Instead he went to search for his roommate, figuring that having an actual conversation with him would ease some tension.
As if on cue, he found the much shorter male on his way up the stairs with a bag or two. Normally, Jun-hoe would've walked right past him. But he thought to himself that he should at least try to make a good impression, after all they were to room together from now on.
"Need a hand?" he asked, lips twisted slightly upwards in a smile that was so forced that he looked like he was in pain. He didn't dislike the guy in any way, he just wasn't used to being the kind and helpful one. But hey, at least he tried. Not really waiting from a smile from the guy, he slipped his hand into one of the handles and helped lifting it up. Noticing the surprising weight of the bag, he raised a brow and glanced down on said item. "Shit, did you bring a block of concrete?"
Yunho was rather quiet as everyone picked out their roommates, primarily because he was perfectly fine with whoever he ended up rooming with. He practically hadn't even been paying attention, and if it hadn't been for the fact that he zoned back in at the last minute, he would've been absolutely clueless as to what just transpired. In the end, he found out that he was roomed with Jun-hoe, the one who he had thought was the most intimidating. Granted, from the way the other residents acted around him, Yunho doubted that his personality matched his appearance, at least he hoped that wasn't the case. Who knew, perhaps the other was just a big teddy bear with a hard outer shell. After the roommates had been picked, everyone disbanded, all of them doing their own thing. Some of them looked like they were preparing food, and others looked like they were getting ready to unpack their belongings. He didn't really pay them any mind, and instead began lugging his things up the steps, only stopping when he heard a voice behind him. Initially, he thought that they were talking to someone else and had just turned out of pure curiosity, but instead he found that he was the person been spoken to. He was greeted by Jun-hoe and the smile on his face was so fake that it was comical, and it almost seemed like he had been forced to ask to help. Yunho would probably never say it out loud, but the visual of someone bossing him around was priceless, and he wondered if it would happen (probably not).
Although Yunho wanted to say that he was fine, he didn't get the chance to before Jun-hoe was slipping the suitcase from between his fingers. He knew definitely hadn't gone easy when it went to packing his things, since he didn't want to carry many suitcases if he could help it, and so both of them were stuffed to the brim. He actually had to sit on each suitcase just to get it to zip up all the way. It was usually how he packed, so he didn't notice it's weight as much when he carried it anymore, and it always took someone else to remind him that his bags were always so unusually heavy. So, when Jun-hoe commented on it's weight he laughed a bit before shaking his head slightly. "That's just some of my dance stuff." He said, pointing towards the suitcase Jun-hoe was holding. He knew that he was supposed to have left a lot of his older dancing things behind and only bring the necessities, but he just couldn't help it. He had forgotten about a lot of the things until he had to go through everything and pack, and reminiscing whilst cleaning would always be his downfall. "I can carry it if it's too heavy for you. This one's lighter." Yunho said, his voice a bit teasing as he lifted the other suitcase in his hand. He knew that he was probably around 20 centimeters shorter than the other, and to him it made it all the more funny, although he bit back his laugh as best as he could.
