The name's Notasci, though I am equally okay with being referred to as Davenport (together and in the opposite order they make my penname actually). I'm pretty big into writing itself, and am in the process of writing a novel (among other things...) as well as roleplaying; a lot of my roleplaying is throwing characters from my stories and novels into different situations, or trying to flesh out a world through being forced to come up with details to answer people's questions about what the world is like. I'm huge into sci-fi and fantasy both (admittedly I lean towards sci-fi but I really feel like fantasy is somewhat... easier) and adore anything to do with exploration.
I don't know if I'll stick around long yet, it kinda depends on how involved I feel comfortable getting. I have a hard time getting into roleplays due to perceived elitism sometimes (Not claiming that's here, but I very often read it where it isn't intended to be) so hopefully I don't get nervous about that kind of stuff and can find roleplays that catch my interest too, since that's a thing that needs to happen too I suppose haha.
Once I feel more settled in I might try starting my own eventually, though for now I'd rather see what kinds of stuff are what people here are into.
