Sinead listened as Aliana revealed she and Conor had agreed to have another child, one which Leo hoped would be a boy. "Aww, that's so sweet. Conor was so good with Savvy and Emmy, I just know he'd be happy if you had a girl. Feel sorry for any boys she might want to date, though," she half-joked. She knew how much it hurt Conor having missed out on Michelle's life, so she was sure he'd put in overtime and spoil his next daughter rotten.
Sinead looked down to her stomach when Aliana pointed to it and asked her question. "Oh, I don't know," she mischievously replied, unable to shift the twinkle in her eyes. "Petey and I hope so. I mean, I haven't checked for sure yet, but maybe..." she replied. She liked the sense of possibility and knew a negative test would take away that excitement, but she knew her patience wouldn't hold out for much longer and she wanted to know for sure. "I'm going to avoid any stress this time. After I los--"
Sinead was dragged off track by the loud banging sounds coming from upstairs. "If those boys are breaking things. Luce will go nuts!" she grumbled as she rushed to stand. The sound of the man's voice shouting made it clear it wasn't the children causing mayhem. She followed Blake upstairs and was shocked to see the state Gwen was into. Still, she wasn't surprised given what she knew about the fellow redhead's battles with addiction. Worriedly, Sinead rushed back down to the lounge and was going to call for an ambulance but Blake confirmed she would drive Gwen to the hospital.
Sinead was briefly held back by a confused looking Olivia and before she could make sure the kids were staying put, Blake had set off to rush to the hospital.
"Okay, kids..." Sinead distantly trailed off to the girls, given that the boys were still playing outside, oblivious. She nervously bit her lip as she couldn't help but worry about Gwen and the effect it was all going to be having on Lorelei. She knew there was already enough on the man's plate, but Sinead knew James needed to know about Gwen, especially if things were as bad as they'd appeared. "Olivia..." she began, about to ask the girl to retrieve the phone book but seeing she looked worried. "Hey, come on. Give your Auntie Sinny a hug. Girls, come on," she delicately told them, holding her arms out and beckoning them closer.
