  hello, and welcome to my 1x1 roleplay search thread!
  
  
  here, you'll get to know a little bit about me, the expectations i anticipate from my partner, and some ideas i currently have swimming around in the aether of my brain.

  ✧ i consider myself a literate roleplayer. my typical range varies based on muse and placement in my current roleplays, but on average, you can expect 600-1000+ words ranging from three to ten paragraphs.
  ✧ i work full time with two jobs, however i can usually write at least one reply per week. patience may be necessary on occasion; my mental health can be a bit unsteady because of the workload, but i try my best to let my partner know if/when motivation is sparse.
  ✧ i am comfortable writing as both male and female presenting characters. typically the decision to play which one is up to my partner. this also means that i am comfortable with any pairing and typically don't prefer one over the other.
  ✧ i only write 18+ characters.
  ✧ i genuinely enjoy exploring darker and mature concepts. i don't have triggers or many restrictions regarding this area of the plot if desired.
  ✧ i love talking ooc! i prefer discord to do so as i can reply faster there. discussing plot, character arcs, and world-building is a lot of fun to me.

  ✧ put forth some effort. it's a huge turn-off to be the only one forwarding plot and ideas. i lose motivation for roleplays that end up this way very fast. i ask of you to have some ideas of your own before contacting me.
  
  ✧ be comfortable doubling up (if it's desired) and/or writing for some npcs if we ever need to use them.
  
  ✧ be respectful/supportive to the lgbt+ community. as a queer person myself, it's a bit uncomfortable for me if you aren't.
  
  ✧ don't be afraid to contact me or chit-chat ooc. i tend to find myself more motivated if the person i'm writing with is having a fun time writing with me and that we can get along.

  ✧ high fantasy, potential romance(?), human x human ✧ muse a and muse b are trapped in an oligarchy that is ran by individuals who only care about the wellbeing of themselves. for various reasons, both muses have been a part of this country's military/legion, yet eventually become desperate enough to escape when things start to not look so promising. despite promising each other that they'd leave together, muse a manages to flee the country, while muse b does not. years pass, and as muse a finds themselves settled into the democratic neighboring country's militia to act as a whistleblower, the two come face to face with each other in the heat of a stand-off. i have an entire world created with this plot in mind, so be ready for an earful of lore before the actual rp starts lol. huge, huge interest in this plot as a result.
  
  ✧ high fantasy, platonic, human x human ✧ muse a and muse b are rookies in their country's militia. muse a joins because of a dare, while muse b joins because their father was formerly a very influential general officer who was injured in combat and was forced to retire. muse b, having something to prove, initially hates muse a and avoids them at all costs--that is, until, they end up in the same squad once they graduate to a higher rank in the midst of a war beginning to outbreak. hijinks ensue, with a good bit of angst. takes place in the same universe as the above prompt.

  ✧ fantasy, potential romance, royal x nonroyal ✧ muse a is the heir to a very influential, very dangerous kingdom. while this kingdom does not have the best intentions--forcing war upon the neighboring kingdoms that don't stand a chance against them, money laundering, using dark magic to influence their people--they are incredibly successful in their efforts to become the most powerful kingdom in the land. muse a is completely complicit, not really putting much thought into their family's dodgy activities and doesn't find themself ever involving themselves in it, as they have quite some time before they are arranged to be married and take the crown for themselves. however, as they are wandering the dungeons out of boredom, muse b, a prisoner from one of the neighboring kingdoms, catches their attention for looking particularly solemn and noticeably being the same age as muse a. they begin conversing, and interested to hear more, muse a convinces the prison guards to release muse b to tag along with muse a on their activities to act as a servant. can muse b convince what muse a's family is doing wrong in time before they take the crown?
  
  ✧ modern fantasy, potential romance, human x mythical creature ✧ a classic story where a human hunter finds themselves somewhere where they shouldn't be, deep in the woods of a known community of a certain mythical creature that is dangerous to humans. muse a, the creature, is looking to cause some trouble when they realize a human is in their midst. whether they disguise themselves as a human themselves to act as their savior and potentially capture muse b, the human, or they simply are (luckily) a docile breed of their own kin willing to save muse b, is up to you.

  e.g., biblical metaphors, pureness, perfection, wrath, the annihilation of spirituality itself, retribution, fallen angel and a risen demon meet on earth's soil, tension between two immortal enemies, 'we're not so different after all.'
  
  ✧ dystopian horror: human x human, infected x not infected
  e.g., the end of the world, post-apocalypse, disease, impending doom, zombies, desolate setting, finding hope in the face of death, the last people on earth, survival, rising sea levels, meteor, nuclear war, post-technological world
  
  ✧ fantasy romance/slice of life: human x mythical creature, creature x creature, human x human
  e.g., wanderers crossing paths, au where humans and creatures live in harmony, au where creatures were forgotten/eradicated, hidden identity, fighting off bigger and nastier creatures, adventure, frenemies, thieving, greek mythos, the odyssey, singular main characters w/ multiple temporary characters
