((Okay, so here's the setting for where we begin. Samantha (the head trainer/barn owner mentioned in the Overview) is holding a lesson for jumpers, so if your character jumps you may be in the lesson. If not, your character can be watching or grooming or riding or whatever you want. Have fun!))

Val enetered the ring on Merlin just in time, as Samantha was just walking in from the other end. She was the only one who hadn't warmed up yet, but Merlin had nearly kicked her twice in the cross-ties and was in a foul mood today. She trotted a lap hastily before joining the others in the center of the ring for the lesson to begin.

Samantha called her students into the center of the ring, and began to put up the jumps. She started with a low vertical to warm up over, and on the other side set up a high triple combination. When the jumps had been set, she walked to the center and stood on a mounting block in order to see everyone. "Alright," she began, in her loud, commanding voice, "trot over the small vertical a couple of times each way, and then we'll begin. Val, you and Merlin lead the warm-up." She gestured for the horse and rider to make their way to the small jump.

Lelia was late for class and wasn't even wearing a saddle as she rode upon the back of her beloved Cole. She had rode off with Cole to the beach earlier in the morning only to loose track of time. She rode over to the stables and tied up Cole before taking her time out to groom him. She was already 10 minutes late so she may as well take her time preparing Cole. 15 minutes later Cole was tacked up and well groomed so Lelia went off to change into her proper riding gear. It took her 3 minutes to change and remove Cole from his stall before climbing onto his saddle and riding towards the ring. It took her a few times to correctly get onto Coles back with the saddle but once she did so she hurried off to the ring hoping that maybe, hopefully, by the grace of god she wouldn't be punished.

It was only her second day of classes and she was already creating trouble she could see her future now, being embarrassed by her instructors before the other students. Sighing she said, "Cole should we even bother going to class now." Cole simply continued to trot towards the ring meaning that he was telling her, 'We're already this far so why turn back now?' She sighed and the two entered the ring to see everyone else already starting the warm-up. She whispered to Cole, "If we get in trouble now I'm blaming you." Cole stopped in his tracks and stamped his front hoove twice before snorting. Sometimes Lelia wondered if this horse was a human in his past life because if he were then he'd probably have a worse attitude than he always did. "Ok fine I'll take the blame but next time we're late we don't come at all so we can avoid the embarrassment ,hopefully, k." She whispered as Cole bobbed his head up and down. Cole trotted over to Samantha as Lelia rang out, "Good Morning Ms. Parker. It's a beautiful morning isn't it." She stated trying to enlighten her mood.

Richard trotted into the arena with the other horses and started the warm-up wipth Nickel, patting the grey horse on his neck Richard smiled as the duo moved in harmony as rider and ride. They trotted behind the instructor and jumped over the small bars gracefully. Richard sighed happily, completely comfortable on Nickel and straightened out his mane gently.
