Personality: Jay is a laidback and calm young man who is friendly toward everyone. He is kind and compassionate toward anyone, even people he doesn’t like (although him disliking someone is a very rare occurrence.) He has a bad tendency to neglect his own needs in favor of helping out his friends. He almost always radiates happiness and warmth, but whenever he is sad he will usually retreat into a nearby forest or park to brood.


Ever since he was young Jay has loved nature. He frequently takes walks through forests or hiking trails to enjoy both the scenery and watching animals. Personality: Just like his element suggests, JC is icy in every aspect of his life. Quiet and secure, he always seems to be emotionless and impossible to read. And he is. Extrememely insensitive and cold, JC used to have a minor case of God Complex, and even though cured, its traces still linger in him. He never let emotions, no matter how intense, get into his decision and judgement. Everything he does is dictated by cold logic alone.


History: JC grew up devoided of love from his mother. His parents had divorced soon after his birth, leaving him in his father's care. Being a retired Marine Colonel, his father did what he do best and wrapped JC in strict rules and principles of the army, to always be watchful, always follow instructions. It was drilled into him so deep that watching out for danger for every situation became a ritual for him, which JC never fail to do no matter where he goes. Lacking the love and affection a child needs, instead an iron discipline, JC becomes the person he is, cold and distant.

Personality: As a Martial Artist, Han goes by a sense of honor and discipline. He is very family-oriented, as he is close to his Siblings and Mother. He was close to his Father until his death in 2011, where at the time, Han himself was sixteen years old. He also holds a strong sense of loyalty to not only his Family, but Friends as well. As a person, he is generally easy-going, nice and caring.


History: Han was born in Seattle, Washington into a Working Class Chinese-American Family. His Father was a Sergeant in the US Army, serving in the Special Forces while his Mother was a Housewife and Stay-at Home Mom. Han is also the second youngest of four; having two older brothers, one of whom joined the Military right out of High School while the other worked as a Security Guard to help keep up with the bills since their Father was consistently away from home on Deployment. While Han himself is a Martial Arts Prodigy, his younger sister was both a Martial Arts Prodigy and Music Prodigy, being a very talented young woman. Growing up, Han always had Martial Arts practice, engaging in six different Martial Arts, one for each day of the week (Wushu on Mondays, Karate on Tuesdays, Muay Thai on Wednesdays, Brazilian Jujitsu on Thursdays, Shaolin Kung Fu on Fridays and B?jutsu on Saturdays) except for Sunday, which was his 'Break' day. After Martial Arts practice, Han would always go straight to doing his homework in order to maintain his grades. Balancing School and Martial Arts was not a challenge for him as he eventually learned to manage a schedule. Han had the ideal life of a Mixed Martial Artist and had the potential to join major Mixed Martial Arts promotion companies such as the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). However, his dream of becoming a great Mixed Martial Artist was cut short when his Father was killed during deployment in Afghanistan in 2011. After burying his Father alongside the rest of his Family, the Liang Family would move to Waterbridge, Tennessee. His eldest brother, Mengyao, remained in Seattle since he enlisted into the US Army Reserves and was already attending College while his other brother, Shan, was also attending College and planned to attend Police Academy soon after, leaving Han with his younger sister, Yuanjun. Around the time he was seventeen, Han discovered that he had control over Fire and had the ability to manipulate it. He hid this from his Family however, not wanting them to look down on him. Yuanjun is the only one in the Family that is aware of his control over the element. How he is able to keep it under control is unknown, but it is presumed to be his strong will, which he had picked up during his Martial Arts studies. Since Waterbridge was a small town, there were almost no Martial Arts classes, so he made up for it by practicing at home, while going to another city for advancements in Rank.

  Tess is a stubborn and hardheaded pain in the ass. She takes lip from no one, hates following directions, and tends to stray off on her own path. However, don't let her adamant attitude fool you, she is quite kind and gentle when she knows others are feeling down or just when they need someone to depend on. This is perhaps due to the fact that she understands hardship and feels pangs of regret or sadness immediately upon seeing others suffer the way she once had to.

  This pragmatic girl was born in southeast Nevada with her parents, both of whom she never knew, and a older brother who had always taken care of her. Her brother had passed the story of how Tess's parents died onto her, but that is all the girl had ever known of them. So in turn, she learned to coop without a parenting figure and got used to doing thing her own way even if it was stupid and hard to accomplish. Calvin, her older brother, watched after her, but that's about all he did for the boy was constantly sleeping like a bear in the cave where the two had stayed most of their life. Oh yeah, that's another thing. Since neither of the two knew how to gain money in this harsh world, they both had taken residence up in a cave near the Schell Creek Range. Their food was earned through the various methods of hunting the two had learned making Tess skilled with weaponry. Specifically daggers, since her brother didn't trust her with larger items.
  
  
  Through her life, Tess went through hardship and sometimes loneliness. These experiences taught her how to be strong and immobile like the earth itself. Then disaster struck for the girl on her 14th birthday when Calvin went out on a hunting expedition and never returned. Tess knew she couldn't be alone like this forever and eventually left. Upon arriving in the closest city, she took the bus directly to Nashville, Tenesse in order to start a new life. Although, a 14 year old traveling across the state is kinda unorthodoxed and a resident of Waterbridge noticed her solitude. The elderly woman took Tess under her wing and the girl began to have a normal life, but would never forget the one she left behind, the summers in the mountains, the hunts through the lush forests, or her brother's noisy snoring the night before he disappeared forever.

Personality: Tegan is a stoic and reserved young man. Ever since he was a kid, he has interacted with hardly any people around his age, or really people in general. He'd rather spend his time hiking through the trails of the Appalachian Mountains than have to deal with others. Because of this, he tends to come off as socially awkward around people that happen to strike up a conversation with him. Tegan is also pretty clever and has a profound knowledge of anything that has to do with the earth.


History: There's not much to talk about with Tegan's background before now. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania with his mom and dad. Tegan's parents became more worried about his social life as the years went by, and this summer, they decided to ship him off to his aunt and uncle's house in Tennessee in hope that he'll make some actual friends.

History: He moved to the town with his parents from Oxfordshire in England, and like everyone else, led a pretty normal life, getting decent grades and such.

Appearance: He has dark hair, and deep blue eyes set into a handsome, clean-shaven face. He stands at around 5 feet and eleven inches. He can often be found wearing a dark shirt and jeans.

Personality | Lillia was never the kind of girl who would take things seriously, at all. But of course, there's a sense of sensibility here and there. It's just pretty hard to find it in her. Problems and events and everything just passes her in a daze most of the time, and sometimes she just lets herself drift onto some other world (or just her deep thoughts). Usually, she'd just let people ignore her and she'd end up unnoticed in a crowd, but it's her smartness, faint amiability and responsibility that draws people to her. She adapts to anything pretty easily, but it would surely be a lie to say that there's nothing that makes her feel unpleasant. It's just that she's unconsciously pretty good in hiding it.


History | Her story isn't so interesting as you may think it would be. She was born and raised here, with a loving mother and father who sure seem to be eager in increasing this area's population, and a brother older than her by only two years, who isn't the worst, but isn't the best brother or son one could have either. Life as she and everyone knew it, went by. The only difference she probably had from all those other ordinary girls was that they weren't trained to be so physically and mentally powerful at a very young age by their fathers, and they didn't have mothers to support that. But of course, except for those few to many times that she fully disapproved with this idea, she let herself improve, with the belief that her uniqueness compared to others probably wasn't so bad.


Life went on until she got a new sibling at the age of ten, one that her parents had to thoroughly explain to her at her tenth birthday, and she didn't really mind the attention taken away from her, onto a new family member. She actually liked it, somehow. Every year that passed was just the same, until her 16th birthday, which took her years to persuade her parents not to make it a "super duper really sweet 16". It was a day before Valentine's, but she could remember the tattoo that mysteriously appeared and those powers that made her think that she was either drunk or dreaming, more than those guys at school who gave her lots of gifts the day after. Now that a year has passed, and after a series of cheek-pinching and secret-hiding, she decided that maybe it wasn't so bad to fully embrace this gift that she suddenly just got at her last birthday.


After all, those monstrosities aren't going to kill themselves every single night, are they?


Relatives | She lives with her family. Amelia Prior and Nathan Prior are her mother and father. She also has a younger sister (at the age of 7) named Pearl Prior, and an older brother (at the age of 18) named Michael Prior.

Personality: Ian is, in a way detached from the world. He mostly holds close relationships with his family. Friends are rare and the few he has are ones he's regarded like family. Ian doesn't get attached to anything. He is a nomad in a sense that he is always moving and never faltering from constant motion. He sees the world as something that can disappear in the blink of an eye. He sees things realistically and in their exact value. To him, knowledge is power and he believes that sometimes not knowing is the best thing.


History: Ian was, for the most part a normal kid. As an introvert, he found himself alone in many situations. It began in 2nd grade when his father walked out on his mom, his sister, and him. Ever since that year, he's developed a distance between himself and people. This is probably the main reason for his solitude.

Personality: Clarissa is quite mysterious. She never reveals much about herself. She is almost to the point of being ant-social, not speaking unless spoken to or when there is something utterly important to be said. Some might call her "creepy" and that is exactly what she is.


Clarissa is not evil or a horrible person. Her element does not affect her in that way. What does make her creepy though, is her love of dark things. (besides the fact that she almost never speaks) Yes, she has a very twisted mind. She is also incredibly observant. Clarissa is very much a "sit back and see what happens" kind of girl. Her eyes are always wandering about, catching every detail of a situation.


Though people usually see her as weak or not capable, Clarissa is anything but. She is tough as nails and when you do something that highly irritates her or if you smart mouth her, she will say something about it. Usually what she says isn't very nice at all.


Clary is also incredibly intelligent. If there is a problem that needs to be solved, she will analyze it and come up with a solution almost immediately. She just may not tell what that solution is... She enjoys watching other people attempt to solve it. It amuses her.

History: Clarissa was born into a very wealthy family. They live in Bel Air California in a gorgeous mansion which is where Clary lived until she was sixteen.


She was going to run away anyway. She absolutely despised the prim and proper facade they put on and it was even worse that she was forced to follow suit. Then, when Clary gained her powers, there was no need to run away. Her parents sent her away to live with her Uncle. He is a blemish on the family name and now Clarissa is as well.


Uncle Gideon is fine with letting her experiment with her powers. He is more of a father to her than her birth father was.


Now, Clary has her powers slightly under control. She is able to summon a shadowy entity she calls Loki. He has become her pet more or less.
