Ehem... Err... Umm... Hello!

Hi all,


Looks like it's customary to post a quick intro.


I'm, well..., Ushox. I'd consider myself an experienced and mature RPer. I'm looking for a long-running, stable and mature game, which has always been a quite rare thing on-line. I'm mostly into Fantasy and sometimes Horror and Sci-fi. I hope I'll find what I'm looking for here.


Also I love reading speculative fiction.


Hoping to meet some of you IC and OOC.

In RPing I relate to traditional medieval or epic fantasy easier. However I realize that life starts when we step out of our comfort zone therefore I'm totally open to any RPing ideas. I've had the chance to experience various game systems but I'd love to find a free-form-ish game at the moment where creative writing would be at the forefront (not that because I consider myself in anyway good at it). Having said that the only hard requirement that I humbly have is to participate in a game that has an adult tone.


Regarding my reading habits, I enjoy any well-written fiction. There are so many good books and so many talented writers but so little time... *sigh* In fantasy I enjoy very much Joe Abercrombie, Guy Gavriel Kay, Steven Erikson, Brandon Sanderson, G. R. R. Martin, Scott Lynch, Daniel Abraham...

I honestly haven't read much in a while, but I tend to enjoy some of the popular stories such as "Harry Potter," "The Hobbit," "Star Wars," and "Pirates of the Caribbean." I'm also going through "Magician: Apprentice" at the moment.


I have some understanding of horror, for I play "Search and Find" games with dark stories like "Haunted Manor, Queen of Death."


I'm still pretty new to role playing (not really but I've been spending all my time in a fandom so I haven't practiced many genres.) I'm interested in epic fantasy role plays. I also want to be capable of doing mature role playing also.

Nice! Magician is a classic and Feist has many fans. I read it a while ago but I remember that I enjoyed it. He wrote many books in the Riftwar universe so if you like Magician you should check the others.

Yeah, I got... "Queen of Death?" I believe, yet I haven't gotten to it just yet.
