Ezra nodded, "I should probably reply to him then." He smiled a little and went back onto the Facebook tab, clicking on his and David's chat, he had sent him another three messages since he had closed it a minute or so ago.


12:28-David: We need to talk about last night.


In person.


Ezra?


Ezra sighed and started typing out his response.


11:30-Ezra- Im not moving from my bed and I refuse to let you in the room I don't want to talk to you


11:31-David- Don't be so harsh, it'll only take a minute, just come up to my room


11:32-Ezra- No. I feel like death because of you.


11:32-David- Im coming downstairs, pretty sure Derek will let me in.


Ezra bit his nails quietly and shut down his laptop, making sure that he had his key in his pocket.

Derek started playing a soft song a completely different style he usually didn't play. He strummed the strings while looking at Ezra, '' You know, if he annoys you long enough, I have a few tricks to calm him. Just a good hit behind the head, and he immediatly obeys. Oh and, i'll give credits to Jess for finding this out, his ticklish on the elbow for some reason.'' Derek added.

Ezra nodded and told Derek that he'd remember that, when he heard a nock at the door. Presuming it was David, he sighed and stood up, opening the door slightly. Confirming who it was he glared, looking at David's hickeys, that Ezra had obviously given him. Checking he had his key in his back pocket he stepped outside and shut the door, grabbing David's arm and walking somewhere where nobody could hear them speaking.


"David, I told you I don't want to talk to you." He stated, crossing his arms across his chest matter of factly. David shrugged and leaned against a wall while staring at Ezra with a small smile on his face.


"And yet you're still out here, ha." He laughed a little and winked at Ezra. "Bet Derek questioned you about where you were. What did you say?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.


"I told him that I don't remember." Ezra said harshly, arms still crossed across his chest. "Look, David, last night meant nothing. I was drunk and up for anything, don't let it get to your head, I'm not gay, I don't like you." He whispered to David. "So piss off and leave me alone, stop talking to me."

Jessica took a shower, her roomate starting to talk to her.


''Oh my god Jessica! guess what!!!?'' whatever her name was said cheerfully clapping her hands together.


''..whut is it forehead.'' Jessica answered looking at her deciding to call her that from now on.


'' Huh..that's so mean! Why you call me that!'' Forehead said faking cries.


Jessica just looked at the girls forehead, it was huge. She looked back at the girl who was obviously a punching bag.


'' 'Cause.'' she simply stated looking at her phone


''Oh well! So yeah I was at the cafeteria and there was that{etc..}'' Forehead said rambling. Jessica just rolled her eyes, crying inside of her Anyone..anyone text me PLEASE GOD MAKE SOMEONE TEXT ME! she cried inside actually hitting her head in the wall.

David pretended to look hurt. "You're saying that now, but when you're lonely and just really want to fuck someone you'll come running, I know you will." He grinned and winked, walking away to god knows where.


Ezra stood there slightly shocked, did David really think he was that desperate? Whatever. He walked back to his room, opening the door and collapsing on his bed, he waved slightly at Derek, opening his laptop so that he could show Derek something.

Derek stopped playing and looked at Ezra screen. he shifted his eyes to Ezra, ''What?'' he asked

"Right well, I wrote these lyric things and well they could be useful but, depends what you think of them..." Ezra nervously said, he didn't like to put these kind of ideas forward in Headless System but he was sort of proud of the lyrics. He looked around awkwardly as Derek scanned through them. They were just short lyrics, but it was a repeated verse, he was sort of proud of them, scared that Derek would hate them.

Derek read through the lyrics, he could see that they had meaning. '' It's pretty good, what you planning to do with it?'' Derek asked grabbing his phone and going to his notes where he wrote most of his songs. Yesterday after meeting Jade, he had done wrote this and was going to make a solo of it but maybe he could us it as one of their songs. He showed the lyrics to Ezra, '' I'm thinking to start practising this song to start of the club, we could add in your song.''

Ezra nodded as he read through his song and then Derek's song. "We should do both of them, yours sounds really good." He loved being in headless system, aside from David, and he was thinking about how cool they'd be if they ever played live when he remembered the one time that he had with his friends, he'd got someone to record it on a professional camera, and he suddenly wanted to watch it. It wasn't his own song but he had loved playing it. He brought the file up on his computer and sat watching it, the volume playing quietly as he smiled at the memories. He watched as he danced around on stage, Max playing drums and some other guy, Dean, playing guitar, Genie playing bass, and obviously him on vocals. The song they were playing was pumped up kicks by foster the people. He'd remembered he'd loved playing things in front of people, but then remembered he was supposed to be talking to Derek right now. "I'm actually really looking forward to making these songs properly," he laughed and looked at Derek.

'' The school offered a studio for the club in the condition that we recruit more people. I wanted to ask you if you would like. We would need maybe two other members to be an official club of the school since three isn't enough.'' Derek said sighting. Honestly he wasn't too trill about it but maybe it would be less job for him.

"We need people as good as you playing instruments? Maybe then we can have drums and bass, not just guitar and vocals..." Ezra chewed the inside of his lip and looked around the room. "I don't know about anybody in this school, I've only been here a week, but my sister is sort of good at bass. I can ask her if you want me to." Ezra didn't really want to ask her judging on the terms they were on, he didn't really want her to speak to him, but he was willing to do what he had to do, and plus she was the only person in the entire school other than Derek that he knew could play instruments.

''Cool, I'll find the drummer then.'' Derek said pulling out his phone. He texted rapidly and closed his phone, he knew exactly who to ask. He then walked out of the room glancing at Ezra, ''We are starting tomorrow be at the club room E-335 next to the dorm.'' he added leaving with his key.

Ezra made note of the room that he would have to go to, and then stood up and pulled on some actual jeans instead of just his sweatpants. He reluctantly walked down to his sisters dorm room and knocked on the door, when she answered she stared at him. "What do you want?" She asked, leaning against the doorframe. Ezra quickly explained what was happening about the band thing to her and she nodded, smiling a little. "I agree to play bass in this stupid club, on the terms that you have to forgive me for being such a bitch about your possible..." She lowered her voice and whispered, "gay tendencies." She looked around and grinned at Ezra, who just stood there confused and a little amused by his sister.


"Great, so you'll be in the club then." He said his goodbyes for her and walked out onto the field, texting Derek on his way.


12:05-Ezra: Genie is in


He put his phone back in his pocket and walked back into his dorm room, grabbing his book and walking back outside to the field again. People were sat soaking in the sun, some were playing football, and some were just studying in the grass. He walked over to a tree and sat down, leaning his back on it. Opening his book, Submarine, he began reading.

Jessica was playing Volleyball with a few girls. The sun was up and since she drinks so much as a habit, she didn't feel like crap and was already ready to party...or train which ever she wants. One of her friends slammed the ball in her direction and she was prepared to hit it but she got distracted as she saw Jade running towards the guy dorm. She was about to look back but she only felt the hit of the ball in her head. BLACKOUT


Derek exited the dorm when Jade spotted him. She immediately ran towards him, ''Derek!'' she said wrapping her arms around his neck. Derek was taking aback, he knew she was the sister of someone here but he didn't expect to see her. They had a pretty long discussion yesterday and wasn't sure how to act anymore.

Ezra was reading his book calmly when he felt a vibration in his pocket, a text message. He looked at it and saw it was from David, he sighed and read it, groaning.


12:38-David- Do you wanna hang out


Ezra looked around the field quietly, seeing a group of girls all crowded round one area on the volleyball court, he presumed someone had got hit with the ball. Why did David want to hang out with him, did he not get the hint? But something in Ezra just desperately wanted to say yes.

Derek looked at the girl, '' Jade...'' he hesitated, '' You can't just jump on me like that..people will think-'' before he could even finish Jade locked their lips together, ''I don't care what they think.. I came back for you and you only.'' she said looking at him straight in the eyes. Derek felt the love he felt back in the days but he didn't. This girl had crushed him to pieces with her hypocrisism

Ezra almost typed yes, but stopped himself. He needed to have some self control, so he decided that he'd just not reply, and if David kept pestering him he'd block his number or something. He was bored now, and couldn't be bothered to finish his book, so he walked over to the girls who were still crowding round some girl. Ezra took a careful look and saw that it was Jessica, and sighed. Poor girl wasn't having it easy it would seem, but he smiled a little. When Ezra had come over a few of the girls had gone, and Ezra bent down on one knee and slapped Jessica's face gently to try and wake her up.

Jessica slowly woke up as someone slapped her face, her dream of beating a few ninja's rushing through her mind. She squealed as she could see the blurry face of a guy she didn't know who it was and punched him in the eye. She immediately stood straight and recognized Ezra, '' Oh my god I'm so so sorry!'' she said going to his aid.


Jade cupped his cheeks with her oh so delicate hands looking straight into his eyes, '' I really need you derek.'' she said biting her lips. Derek pushed her away, '' I can't trust you anymore. Don't come and play it all nice.'' Derek said looking away. Jade looked more than anything and just rushed to hug him, '' Derek, I swear, I never had anything with Chase.'' she said crying in his chest, '' I should be the one hurt, you dumped me with no explanation a year ago. I never believed it and even came all the way here for you.. You can't do this to me..Weren't you the one saying that you loved me more than anything?'' she said playing the goody act and pressing all of her body on him. Derek felt heat rushing, he knew this was an act. She was nothing more than a hoe in the making, but he was a fool for her. Head over heals in love with her. He slowly walked back to his dorm room knowing this was probably the worst decision ever.

Ezra put a hand over his eye and grimaced slightly, even though it was quite funny, it really hurt, damn that girl could pack a punch. He looked down at her, and crossed his arms across his chest and raising his eyebrows, pretending to be angry. "I was totally a saviour and you hit me in the eye!" He groaned dramatically, putting a hand to his forehead. Even with all the acting, he was glad that she was awake.

Jessica looked at him and cupped his cheeks, '' Im soooooo sorry Ezra! '' she said pouting feeling extremely guilty.

Ezra shrugged his shoulders and tried not to focus on how much his eye actually hurt now. "Its fine, just let's try not to do that again, okay?" He grinned a little and laughed. "Also, its nice to see you clothed this time." He didn't say it too loudly, making sure only Jessica could hear him. Suddenly remembering the hickeys on his neck he cursed himself for even leaving the room silently, he didn't want anyone to ask questions.

Jessica gave him a very fake smile, ''What are you talking about? '' she said innocently while standing up and undusting her very short shorts. She fixed her messy bun and looked back at Ezra, '' By the way, whoever gave you this hickeys sure knows how to work it.'' She added winking at him while giggling evilly.

Ezra stood up as well, again noticing the height difference, he smiled slightly and messed with his own hair. "I don't even remember who it was," he lied, laughing slightly, until he noticed that David was walking towards Jessica. Ezra looked down at the floor and kicked a stone awkwardly.


David wrapped his arm around Jessica's shoulders and greeted her, winking at Ezra at the same time.

Jessica gave David a big hug, ''Oh my god, where have you been David? '' she asked unwrapping her arms and looking at him with a lop sided smile while shifting her weight to one side.

David laughed and shrugged his shoulders, "I've been places, terrible places," he laughed, and wrapped his arm around Ezras shoulder who just looked tense, his gaze was straight ahead and his jaw locked and teeth clenched. David was really annoying him. "I've been on adventures." He grinned at Jessica, and he trailed his fingers down Ezras back knowing that Jessica couldn't see. Ezras face went slightly red.
