Backstory: Your general (or elaborate) backstory of your character. They can't be a new arrival at the new facility, because they wouldn't have their augmentations otherwise. However, they could have just been recently caught after the 2026 incident. I'd appreciate no 'to be revealed' posts here, at least give a little, because most test subjects know each other in this facility.

Given Name: Kai Yagura

Appearance: Kai is 5'10", slim, with jet black hair. His hair goes down to cover his ears, and touch the base of his neck. His eyes were originally a foggy blue, but the experimentation changed them to be black.


Personality: Kai is more concerned about the people around him than he is of himself. However, once he gets a goal he doesn't like to go away from completing it.


Augmentations: Kai is extremely fast, combined with above average strength. He also has enough stamina to run for hours. The scientists were trying to augment him to be able to change his skin color at will, like a chameleon, but no results have yet to show.


Weapons: Kai has a full array of knives that the scientists allowed him to use to see how accurate he is while moving quickly and striking hard.


Other equipment: The scientists have a suit that changed color, to replace the inability to change his skin color for the time being.


Backstory: Kai was only 6 when he was abducted originally. His DNA was fused with a cheetah, gorilla, an African buffalo, and a chameleon. The cheetah gave him amazing speed, while the gorilla gave him incredible strength, and the African buffalo gave him loads of stamina. The chameleon DNA did nothing notable to him. He was an escapee in the original breakout, but only made it in the outside world for about a year before his own kind used him as bait to get away. He's been in the process of building an escape plan since he was recaptured.

Augmentations: Alyxa was injected hyena genes, and had the top of her head and bottom of the spine implanted with hyena ear and tail base cells, at the age of ten. These caused her to very painfully and slowly grow ears, a tail, and some carnivorous teeth. Today, Alyxa sports a large tail, and an extra set of square furry ears can be seen through her hair.


Appearence: Alyxa has long, dark brown hair. She is a small person, yet one that can be spotted from a distance thanks to her tail. She has a very feminine figure and shape, but slightly muscular arms from the training she puts herself through every day to keep from madness. Her cell neighbors tease her often that her canine features suit her well, to which she replies with a sarcastic grin or a snarl.


Personality: Alyxa evaluates the company of others well and tries her best to be nice, but is quick to anger, and may sometimes have fear and depression attacks.


Ally is hormonal like any teen, and loves to tease her cell neighbors back by "changing her shirt" with her back to them, and laugh at their drooling faces much to their annoyance.


Weapons: Alyxa has no weapons she can recall, but she might actually have something forgotten from the incident of twenty-twenty six. But, the tail improves her balance and the hyena ears more than double her sense of hearing.


Backstory: Alyxa has no memory of her past life and of the escape. She was released early during the attempt and managed to grab a high caliber handgun, which broke her wrist with recoil during a firefight. As a young teen, she wasn't very strong, hit over the head and captured. Concussed, she woke up with no memories of the past few hours. Now she has learned her lessons, and spends her time exercising, sleeping, and planning an escape and revenge, with no lead or line so far.

Appearance:

Personality: Conner tends to analyze a situation, looking at how it will reflect back on him until you involve those he cares about at which point sense flies out the window. He talks quietly and fluttery and can appear very indecisive. He's loyal to those he loves and cannot allow someone to be condemned if he doesn't understand the reasoning. All he asks is that you don't name him. He tends to blame himself for a lot of things and runs away from his problems. He frequently lies, and doesn't trust easily. Language and science are major interests of his, specifically genetic modification, seeing as how important it is in his life. He doesn't like confrontation and will try to avoid it. However, he will fight if he must, no matter how much he doesn't want to.


Augmentations: He learns at a faster rate than normal with a knack at picking out important information and learning languages.


Weapons: A pair of daggers.


Other equipment: A knife, notebook for notey stuff, pencil, and a large hoodie that was on him when he was captured.


Backstory: He was abandoned when he was very young and had lived in the facility most of his life until the breakout. He went around as much as he could, and made a ton of mistakes involving relationshipsand drug departments. He doesn't like to talk about what happened to him after the breakout, though he has quite a few new scars from it.

Gender: Male


Appearance: he is tall and handsome, in short. His red, blonde-streaked hair is always scruffy, with no style whatsoever. No body got time fo dat. His eyes are much the same, colour wise. Red, with flecks of golden yellow. His wings are also that way.


Personality: [EDITED because he didn't turn out like how I had him before.] he is a kind soul. Willing to help in any way he can. Once befriended, he is loyal and trustworthy. Dumb as a brick when it comes to love.


Augmentations: wings: sixteen foot span, designed for silent flying at decent speeds. Vision: capable of seeing higher detail at further distances, as compared with normal humans vision. Also has greatly improved night vision. Physical: wounds heal rapidly. A would that would take a month for an average human to heal, would heal in one week. General: light, Hollow bones reduce weight. Also stronger than an average adult. Mental (not yet discovered by scientists): telepathic link to the owl also part of the experiment.


Weapons: [edited in after approving "like"] a liquid metal that, with the aid of a neural implant, can be manipulated to his will. Provided he is touching the body of the fluid, it will follow his unspoken commands as if he was one with it. The fluid can be solidified so it would hold its shape while Zack was not touching it, if need be, and it can by controlled at the molecular level. It is magnetic, but it is not conductive. That factor even surprised it's creators. Two litres will be found in a clear tube in the armoury. He also has a few nanobots that maintain his implant. These can reproduce themselves, but their soul purpose is to keep the implant working, should it become damaged. Repairs are slow, but the whole implant could be rebuilt even if it was removed. But this would take upwards of a week to complete. Minor damage, caused by electrocution or magnetism while the implant is active, would take a minimum of half an hour, averaging one and a half. These nanobots cannot be reprogrammed, no matter what. The magical force of OP protection prevents it.


Other Equipment: some light clothing. They are capable of changing colour to present camouflage patterns, or custom designs.


Backstory: Zack was part if an experiment to see how a human embryo would react to being spliced with avian DNA, and vice versa. Both were a success. So, they were experimented on for the duration of their existence.

Appearance: she appears to be a normal short-eared owl.


Personality: very regal and ladylike, despite being an owl. Don't touch her and you'll get to keep your fingers. However, if she approaches you, then you're fine.


Augmentations: human aging rate, human intelligence, and a telepathic link to Zack Mickells.


Weapons: a simple set of 'battle claws' made of titanium. These fit over her talons like gloves and are extremely light and sharp. They will be obtained with steel sheaths for safe carrying.

Personality: Kristoff is sociable, but sarcasm and figures of speech go right over his head. He is perceptive, and uses intuition to make his decisions rather than consulting with others.


Augmentations: The ability to manipulate frozen water, immunity to cold and temperature control in his immediate vicinity (E.G. turning water vapor in the air above his palm into ice. Also, Kristoff is more susceptible to heat, it feels about ten degrees (Fahrenheit) hotter than it is.


Weapons: Throwing Knives


Backstory: Kristoff was a regular college student preparing to attend university, but he was abducted, likely for his natural resilience to cold. Horrible tests were conducted to scarring to speak of. After Kai released them, he just ran. Kristoff ran across the continent to the North. After reaching Quebec, he taken away once again to E.S.C.A.P.E.

Appearance: My Art.

Personality: Reza is a naturally calm person which is surprising despite everything. She always keeps a level head and a light sense of morbid humor. Despite her kindness, she is known to be condescending and will look down on others.


Augmentations: Reza is blind. This is due to her augmentation of being able to create new cells, thus changing herself into a monster. This monster form titled "Project Bloodhound" cannot see but has an amazing sense of smell as well as hearing and has been known to reach speeds as fast as seventy miles per hour. "Project Bloodhound" was created as a military experiment to extract information and attack forts with her strength capable of easily lifting a modern automobile. It takes twenty-four hours for her body to prepare for transformation, leaving her human for twenty for hours until she can become Bloodhound, then she is bloodhound for twenty-four hours.


Weapons: None


Other equipment: Sunglasses and her long furry trench coat.


Backstory: Reza was a street rat. That kid you would see playing in the gutter right before you buy a new pair of Prada or Levi's. Her mom abused drugs and only god knew who her father was. It was a miracle she'd made it to age six with only the bear essentials and attention from her mother. From age four she was taking care of herself. One day a truck came over and picked her and needless to say there was no search party. That was when the experimentation began up until the first break out. When she was free, albeit for a short time, she disappeared. No one knew where she went but all any of the other experiments knew was, when she was captured, Bloodhound kicking, snarling and biting, she was in strict quarantine for eight months. Rumor has it, she had a child. Whether it was born in the compound or the world, however, has yet to be determined. Since her return, she seemed quieter. More thoughtful.

Eve is polite and well-spoken, but filled with quiet determination. She has a keen intellect and learns quickly from her mistakes. She is still somewhat naive of the world due to being young and living her life as an experiment, but she is intelligent and quick to understand of the current situation around her. Eve spent her entire life living on the sufferance of others. As a result, she has never known a true home. She is deeply sympathetic to those she perceives as oppressed, while at the same time, her pent up frustration from years of being mentally and physically dominated by the scientists makes Eve capable of being utterly ruthless against those she perceives as a threat. This has produced a large amount of strategic thinking in Eve's mind, causing her to analyze almost everything she touches.


Eve grew more courageous and intelligent as she grew used to her harsh surroundings. The experiences she had gone through taught her patience and integrity, even though her life had little meaning. She has trouble defining her emotions, and often finds herself having trouble trusting others. Eve sometimes acts like a computer, straight to the point and monotone. But she can't help it, since she has electricity running through her veins.


Augmentations


The scientists were given the challenging task of creating a 'human computer', and they succeeded. With a major adjustment to her DNA and a power cord jabbed into her skin, electricity began to be something that kept Eve alive. She wears a special bracelet connected to her veins to keep the electricity flowing through her. If it is ever broken or tampered with, she will die.


Anything electronic or something that runs on a signal immediately connects to her brain as soon as she touches it. Immense amounts of data can be sent to her mind from any kind of computer or machine. But there are downfalls to this ability. If used too much, Eve's heart would begin to beat at an unbelievably fast pace. As a result, she would die of a heart attack.


The scientists created her thinking she could help them in their experiments. But when she began hacking into their systems and helped cause the first breakout, they planned to kill her. That was until they came up with the wondrous idea to lock her up in an empty room with a straight jacket. They decided they would need her in case of 'emergencies' (such as preventing another breakout).


Her ability is only useful when near technology. In combat, she has to rely on physical strength and the accuracy of her aim with a gun. She's utterly useless if blocked off from tech.

Nothing. The scientists took anything extra she had, and stored it away somewhere in the facility. She desires to have them back someday.


Backstory


In her youth, Eve was a meek, timid girl with little confidence or self-esteem. She knew no life other than one of exile, dependent and in constant fear of her brother Tero. He was the only family she knew, but was often a cruel guardian, prone to mood swings and fits of violence. Her parents had both died in an experimental lab caused by an intense injection of an unknown drug. The result was a heart attack. Upon knowing young teens were being snatched left and right for experiments, Eve lived in fear under the shadow of her abusive brother. Eventually, not only was she captured, but her brother as well. He lashed out viciously, and fought off the scientists as hard as he could. Being a threat and a person of no use to them, the scientists put him down like a dog. A simple injection, and his heart had stopped.

After being experimented on, a rainbow like computerized pattern ran up both sides of her wrists, her fingernails, up her neck and across the face, and lastly through certain strands of her hair. The patterns throb brightly and turn different colors. Eve's eyes also turned a stunning orange, mimicking the color of a sunset.

Augmentations: Was crossed with the DNA of various plant species, and can thus control most kinds of plants.


Weapons: Carries a Magnum Pistol with him, in case he can not manipulate nature in defense.


Other equipment: Can produce seeds from his person, seemingly a side affect of his augmentation. THey have various uses, from food to small explosives.


Backstory: Born into a normal family, in a normal home, in a normal town. He went to school like every other kid, got a standard education, and so on and so forth. His parents were both Naturalists, studying most forms of life, so, this lead to Amon having a bit of an attachment and a lot of knowledge about the environment. He often spent his time after school going on walks/taking the scenic route home. At age 17, his Junior year in High School, he was abducted. He was experimented on, and was fused with the DNA of many, many plant species. As to avoid any unnecessary complications, he went along with everything his captors said, silently plotting a way to leave...

Natsu loves to play she has a large sense of curiosity. She is inclined to climb on top of people and chat your ear off. She is a very bubbly and energetic person. If she imprints on you (likes you) then you will never hear the end of it. She is extremely energetic and can hardly stay still. Sometimes she will literally bounce off the walls just to do something. When she's really bored she'll start singing random nonsense. Although she's always cheery she has a protective instinct. She cares greatly for those she trusts and will willingly lay down her life for the sake of her friends.




Augmentations:

Has the ability to shift her own gravitational field and slightly expand it with her hands. This allows her to be super strong and have very strong skin (not impenetrable, just used to pressure).




Weapons:

Nightsticks and arm blades if she has to hurt people, but she usually sticks with hand to hand.

Other equipment:

Control gloves, core stone and sticky shoes. The Control gloves help her release the gravity she has and the sticky shoes keep her on a surface. Core stone the core stone is part of the astral element Natsu was introduced to during the experimentation. It helps her find her core and rotate her gravity around it. It is the belt she wears in the picture above.




Backstory:

Natsu wasn't born like most people she was made in a test tube. Meshing human genes with some unknown DNA they found on a space rock. Not expecting it to work in the slightest they were surprised when the subject survived and turned out human. At a early age she showed signs of a gravity augmentation. At 4 she rose to the ceiling and began wall crawling ever since. The government thought they could use her for a spy experiment so they began to strictly train her. She never really liked the whole training thing, but she kept a positive attitude. As she got older and the doctors failed to replicate her, things became more intense. Her examinations became more like torture, her training became more like slave working. Then they gave up and moved her to E.S.C.A.P.E. hoping that they would have more success in replicating and weaponizing her. Natsu hated her new prison, but she liked to keep a positive attitude. Natsu's cell partner told her much of the outside word. What fascinated her most is the sky. She always wanted to see the sky.Her life became harder and harder she held the hope of seeing the sky. It has been her dream to see the real world, one without ceilings.

Appearance: Amane usually wears a fluffy pink button-up jacket with a hood that has rabbit ears on top of it. She wears a rose pink shirt with a purple rose in the middle of it, on her bottom half, she wears black lace tights and high heels.


Personality: Amane is a very level-headed and serious person. Her cold, calculating demeanor is demonstrated by her admonishing of most with more casual and impulsive attitude when it comes to most things, calling them "egotistical fools". She shows little tolerance for recklessness and handles things in a cool, professional manner. This personality is also reflected in her dealings with most people, keeping silent and to the point. Amane doesn't trust others in general. Whenever she speaks with scientists, she is tight-lipped, as she knows they are only interested in her Future Diary.


Augmentations: None.


Weapons: None.


Other equipment: Amane has a Future Diary called the Apprentice Server Diary (見習いサーバー日記, Minarai sābā nikki), which gives her the ability to give other people Apprentice Diaries, which predict the future like an ordinary Future Diary, but if the phone breaks the user does not die like a normal Future Diary user does. The drawback to his is that Amane cannot predict the future herself, and she requires others to fight in her stead. She cannot give herself an Apprentice Diary. If Amane is going to be killed by someone, she will receive a Dead End Flag on her ordinary phone, as she connected it to the server, but she is unable to give herself an Apprentice Diary. It will be formatted like this. "14:13, 28/1/2027. Amane Nishiki is shot by Kai. DEAD END". Amane must do everything she can to avoid the Dead End Flag. Also, her Future Diary is directly tied to her future. Destruction of the Diary equals destruction of her future. Her Future Diary is a server, which she keeps strapped to her back. It was originally a server that she hosted her blog on, now all the blog users can see the future in ways individual to that user, for example if the user was a street fighter, he would get updates about attacks he will receive in the future.

Other equipment: A small robot powered by his psychic energy. It grants him a suit of armor(http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Powered_Structure). However when he's wearing the armor his psychic energy has to power it meaning he can't use psychic energy while using his armor. The armoe itself has a one hour usage limit as well as requires a 1 hour break between uses.

Backstory: He was taken at the young age of 9, after his parents had died in an accident. At the facility they had beamed many kinds of radiation and energies into his body. This should've killed him however they injected him with a mysterious serum that made the subsequent cancersmhe develop go away. It was from then he had first developed his powers. It was 2 years later that they introduced him to that robot which uses his energy to power itself. He was also an escapee in the original breakout. Nowadays when they lock him up he's suspended in the middle of the room by a spherical barrier.

A Future Diary is a device that can predict the Future in individual ways based on the user. People usually use phones to connect to Amane's Server, however any device could theoretically connect to it. Once they do, since her Server is displaced in spacetime, they shall receive posts they will make in the future. These Diaries are called Apprentice Diaries, which have a few differences to Amane's Future Diary. If the Device is broken, the User shall not die, and if the connection between Server and Device is broken, the Diary will stop predicting the Future until the connection is re-established. If Amane's Server is broken, since it is directly tied to her future, she will die as in effect, her Future Diary and her are the same thing when it comes to their future. Also, her phone will always predict her Dead End Flags if it the device and Server both work, since it is linked by a cable to her Diary, even if it does not have normal signal, it will continue to show Amane her Dead Ends. Dead End Flags are notifications of her impending death at some point int he Future. It will tell her the time and date of her Death, the person responsible for it and how she died. It will be formatted like this: "14:33, 19/12/3339. Amane is shot dead by Alexander. DEAD END." She must do everything she can to avoid it. Her Diary cannot predict the Future itself, meaning she has to have other people fighting in her stead. All the Apprentice Diaries have weaknesses in them, for example somebody who's Diary predicted all their success of that day would not predict their failings too.

Augmentations: The ability to bring back and control the dead.


Weapons: A wooden bat and dagger.


Other equipment: Nothing I can think of.


Backstory: Kamon was recently recaptured, a bit embarrassing considering he didn't really try to hide where he went. His lived in the facility for a very long time and could not remember his life outside of it. He still left with the others the first time, drunk off the freedom pouring through the building. He went pretty far, and killed a few innocents before finding a cat and instantly falling in love. He settled down with the cat after that, and got a job at an animal shelter working with cats. He amassed quite an army of stray cats, and couldn't allow one to die, bringing them back. Ever since he came back he has been very quiet, thinking only of his cats.

Personality: He comes off as sarcastic, which is a cover to hide his suspicious personality. He never trusts anyone truly and never expects them to put him before themselves, but he would definetly die for a cause he believes in.


Augmentations: He is exceedingly flexible, being able to bend his spine and bones in ways that would surprise yoga masters, and being able to dislocate some joints and still have exceptional control over them. He also has a very acute sence of vibrations, so he can usually feel people coming before he sees or hears them. He is extremely sensitive to temperature, not so much cold blooded as moving to a different part of the world to put it in perspective.

Other equipment: He wears very thin shoes to increase his sense of touch in his feet.


Backstory: There wasn't much before his abduction, he was only seven after all. He was born into a above average family, given a decent education with working parents. He was taken while he was home alone before his parents got home with no warning. The first time the scientists put him under one of them must have thought he was witty because just before he went under he said "Hope you like snakes."
