Yeah, and a hot/cold relationship does sound interesting. Although there's a sun and moon, so the sun and heat may conflict a bit in terms of powers. But eh.

Well when I think of heat, you could think of hot headed, or very caring and sweet. Where as Cold could be cold to the core, not care, etc. Unless I have the concept all wrong? o:

Well, they also gain powers that relate to that concept. So hot could be hot-headed and such, but I was talking about the dormant abilities, as the sun is a massive ball of heat. It could still work well, there just might be some small overlap on abilities, but not too much. With sun's cs up, it shouldn't be hard to avoid.

Heat and Sun do have their differences, Sun has well...Flames. Heat is just heat to make you warm/hot. Then again...heat can make fire I think...
