Fandom Dresden Files RP

Anyone interested in a Dresden Files RP?

Any point in the timeline, any locale, I'm game.

If you aren't familiar with the book series, a look at the Dresden files Wiki would probably suffice lore wise...

Sure. What's your favorite storyline in the series or do you want to just do a more slice - of - life type thing with a Wizard PI in the universe?

lol well you might get more people if you go like a AU that way it will be easy for people to get into the story.

Like just an AU of a Wizard trying to work with the Mundanes or something ...

Maybe if you put like a short overview of the series up to for people?

*Phew* I was secretly hope-ing that was the route to go. I've done one like that on another site. The Dresden Wiki was a massive boon for those not familiar

True but like just to get people started if they have no idea.

Just ya know it's a series about a Wizard PI in Chicago. - well maybe a little more than that but you get the idea.

Because people are hella lazy and if they don't have any idea of what your talking about chances are they won't look it up.

I mean sure once the roleplay is up then yeah just give 'em a link to the Wiki and be like - yo educate yoself.

Maybe link specific parts of the Wiki for ease of research. Like the Magic Section, the Faerie Court, The White Council, etc.

But yeah I'd definately be interested. Love me the Harry Dresden series. Haven't read most of the books but that's cuz i'm hella busy and I can't motivate myself to read the books.

I will be going on vacation soon but until we leave i'd be happy to help set things up.

BTW : I (<3) Zombie Sue.

My sister used to live in Chicago and I saw her in RL. I geeked out in ways that made no sense to the rest of my family.

Alright. Which city? I'm going to be partial to Texas, because loose gun Laws make Humans more dangerous, Large population cities, and I'm also a native Houstonian but wherever is fine so long as it's urban.

Texas is fine, it's a big State and the cities within are relatively well known even to people who aren't from that part of the country.

Houston is also big enough to be able to play home to more than one Wizard keeping an eye on thing, as it's Much Bigger than Chicago.

You'd have to replace the Faerie Courts though. The enviornment would be too hot for Winter. And I'm not sure that most of the Summer Court would be interested...

You could substitute Aztec monsters OR Dragons tho.

Freaking Dragons. It's going to be Dragons. Plot antagonist and a half...
I always wanted to explore the Dragons more in the books. They did cool things with 'em in the TV Show.

Ok. I watched one episode of the T.V show. And I was done. I didn't want anymore. xD
lol. it's towards the end they did really cool things with Justin towards the latter half of the season.

Yeah Justin the dude that effs Harry up as a kid. They do really interesting things with that relationship and backstory.

I'm hells of in, but I swear to God, Sasha is dead and gone. I'm not bringing that poor woman back into this bullshit.
