When in boar form, Jeju is a colossus of a being, standing tall at a mighty 6'5''. He is covered from head to toe in a thick layer of fat, muscle, and bristly hair. When shifted, Jeju usually wears thick fur-trimmed leather armor
and wields a combination hammer/shaman stick. Hidden on his person are a number of crushed herbs, reagents, and remedies that he uses for his crafts.

When in human form, Jeju prefers to go shirtless, and carries a long, unkempt head of hair. He very rarely shifts into this form, usually only for his best friends and when he needs dexterity to accomplish what he needs.

Personality:

Jeju is a very utilitarian person. He never hesitates to say what's on his mind, and had an astonishing knack for analysis. Though he often says improper things, Jeju is a level-headed person even at the worst of times. However, he is definitely one to hold a grudge.

When angered, Jeju stops taking things easy, and immediately takes an authoritarian bent. His spur-of-the-moment decisions must be followed, or else he will react with exaggerated frustration, and constantly question the plan of action the others are taking. If pushed to fight, Jeju will do everything in his power to end a fight quickly, regardless of how painful it is for his opponent.

When meeting a friend, Jeju is very straightforward. Meetings often go by a rote schedule, and rarely stray from the day's plan. Jeju expects nothing more than cooperation from his friends, and gladly cooperates when his friends are in need.

When meeting their enemy, Jeju is quiet and withdrawn. He will outright refuse to work with his enemies, and will act stubbornly if forced to. However, Jeju is willing to put aside his differences with his enemies in an emergency.

History:


The Black family make for the single most powerful source of shamans and monks in all of Therian. The Blacks' extensive library of lore and nigh-endless garden of minerals and plants allowed them to see the world beyond Dreamland as easily as one can see the 'real' Dreamland.

Jeju was one of the Blacks' most knowledgeable children of his generation, and took to his learnings like a fish takes to water. As he grew up, his knowledge base grew, and he became the envy of his peers. Eventually, wanderlust got the better of him, and Jeju left his home at the age of 20.

Jeju spent the next decade wandering the lands of each kingdom, learning from Witches, Angels, Demons, and even some Others. He learned how to control plants through the many druids of the Yuputka Forest. He learned how to commune with spirits through the many mediums of Orenda. He learned how to defend himself from mundane force through the infamous enchanters of the Montains of Litost. His travels are too many to count, and he has almost met with death countless times.

As he neared his thirtieth birthday, Jeju felt that his wanderings would bring no more enlightenment. And so, he returned home to share his stories and take a role in the clan's hierarchy. His learnings had amazed the then-Alpha so much that he was granted a spot as his right-hand confidant! When the then-Alpha passed his role on to the current Alpha, Jeju found himself lucky enough to maintain his spot. Now a high-ranking member of the werecreatures' society, Jeju manages most of the kingdom's religious and spiritual needs.




Abilities


Power:



Jeju is capable of speaking to plants and spirits. If given time and concentration, he can convince them to support him. Whether this is through attacking enemies or giving advice depends on what Jeju asks them to do.



Through extensive use of magic and a battery of defensive rituals, Jeju is almost entirely immune to all brute force, regardless of its source. Jeju is still susceptible to magic weapons. This grants him almost-impossible skills in wrestling and fisticuffs, and is the main reason why he still holds such a high rank in the clans.


Though it is of much less practical use than his other powers, Jeju is knowledgeable in all forms of rituals and ceremonies. Seances, healing rituals, and rainmaking spells are his particular forte.

Fighting skills:

Jeju is a master pankrationer. His potent grapples and pokes make Jeju a force to be reckoned with in melee range.




Weapons:


Though Jeju prefers to use his bare fists and plant friends, he is entirely capable of using his Shaman Hammer as a deadly weapon. It serves as both a heavy wooden mallet and a rudimentary microphone for his plant-speaking and spirit-speaking abilities. Without it, Jeju has to shout to be heard by plants and spirits.

Shiro wears nothing but a loincloth, spending all his time in his shark form. He is covered in scars from his many battles.


Personality:


Easily slighted, Shiro can fly into fits of rage that leave his advisers and henchmen terrified. However, when making decisions that affect more than him and his goons, such as matters of state, he is calm, level, and fairly wise, acting as if he's memorized the Evil Overlord List. He does not tolerate insults, and sees them repaid with blood. When he sees his enemies, something has gone wrong, because there are SUPPOSED to be people to kill his enemies for him. After all, why else would he work his way up to Alpha?

History:


Shiro Grandpale was a mighty disciple of the most violent clan in Therian. As the youngest son of the Grandpale family, his brother, Kuro Grandpale, was often praised over him. In frustration, Shiro threw himself into training, in an effort to be noticed by his master over Kuro. However much work he did, it was never enough to gain the recognition of his master, and Shiro eventually lashed out in frustration, killing both Kuro and his master. Enraged by the fact he was training under a man he could defeat, Shiro vowed to never be subjugated again. Declaring himself master of the clan, he was quick to continue his training, knowing that even as master, he was still a servant to the Alpha. This would not stand. He set about gaining further strength and power, subjugating one clan after another through brute force and intimidation. Eventually, he challenged the alpha of Therian himself... and won in short order. This catapulted Shiro to rulership of all werecreatures, uniting them under his banner. Despite the fact that he ursurped the throne through violence and treachery, he's actually a well-liked ruler. The trains run on time, nobody goes hungry, and he has ensured that the were-beasts are noone's slaves.


AbilitiesPower:


Antimagic: There is no magic in his veins. While this prevents him from ever learning or utilizing magic, it also means that magic used against him just fizzles out harmlessly- he can never, under any circumstances, no matter how remote, be affected by magic.


Being a werecreature, Shiro is immune to weapons not made of a specific material. Those who try Silver will be very disappointed- the material in question is Rubidium. His skin is covered in rough, jagged scales- weapons that strike him take more damage than he does.


He's incredibly strong, able to tear even other werecreatures limb from limb.


Fighting skills:


Despite his raw strength, Daishiro doesn't simply tear his foes apart. He's a highly technical fighter, alternating between striking and submission holds until he can simply bite off his foe's head.

He's got a knife. A really sharp knife.

Surprisingly, Demon King is still open. We got the Eldest son, the princess, and the captain of the guard but no king. I would like to reserve that spot. May make character later but probably tomarrow if that's okay with you guys!

Riku has always loved swimming, but as far as she can remember has always been alone she felt at peace in the water and loved it she has no family to speak of and is fascinated with land-dwelling creatures... especially humans after she once saved one from drowning, having the ability to turn human has meant a lot to her but causes problematic situations if no water is nearby, she has been hunted a lot purely for the fact that there were... as far as anyone knew no other mermaids.

AbilitiesPower:

Can breath in both water and air, using magic she has the ability to turn human but if she stays in it for longer than 2 days or get's in contact with water reverts back to mermaid form with 3 minuets, also has a type of siren magic which allows her to hypnotise people.

Fighting skills:

in the water the is extremely flexible and has a type of mermaid martial arts but on land is moderately useless and also isn't used to having legs...

she has a necklace that can turn into a staff used in martial arts.

Kiin-Du'ul wears the ancient apparel he was entombed in. His scaled armor is made of an alloy of steel and gold, allowing the luxurious color but giving it a very high strength. His robes are tattered and his skin is shriveled and grey, a side effect of being locked deep underground for thousands of years. His entire body seems to glow faintly with a magical aura, caused by his mask, which fuses to his skull when he puts it on.
Personality: Kiin-Du'ul is, to put it simply, completely sadistic. He takes joy in the pain of others and even more joy if he is causing that pain, however, he is still a creature of great pride and honor, and any oaths or deals he makes, he will keep, no matter the cost. When he isn't torturing mortals, he is a very cold and calculating creature, who is also highly intelligent. He is mostly indifferent to everyone he knows, the only other real reaction his has towards people being intense hatred and irritation. He believes that everyone, including his children and fellow demonic rulers are below him. While he doesn't particularly 'care' for them, his children are the creatures he can put up with the most, and can even relax around. He loves to kill and fight, and when a mortal can actually cause him to struggle, he will often spare their lives for being a worthy opponent. When he is thrown in to combat, he prefers to be quiet, letting his complete silence and lack of emotion in conflict unsettle his enemies. He usually doesn't have much to say, but when he does speak, his voice is low and ragged, his vocal cords decayed after his ancient slumber.

History:


He is the eldest of the demons in this plane of existence. The Old One, Kiin-Du'ul is a truly ancient being, and as such, has seen many things throughout his years. As a young whelp, he was nothing more than a mere servant, slave to the whims of the ancients that he was forced to call his Lords. Being a demon, a creature of pride, this made him bitter, and over hundreds of years, his fury grew. In his youth, his power was unrivaled, and at only 412, a young age for a demon, he fought the ancient God of Ice, Ihjun. After a long battle, Kiin-Du'ul struck the god down without mercy, and stole the power of frost from him.


Several centuries later, Uhdar, Ihjun's brother and God of Death, hunted the demon down, attempting to avenge his brother's demise. Unfortunately, Kiin-Du'ul had grown ever more powerful with his new control over frost, and destroyed Uhdar as well, gaining the ancient knowledge of death and necromancy. Now, in existence for a mere 1,000 years, Kiin-Du'ul had essentially became a god himself. He took on the title of Dilon Rah, the Dead God.


He ruled for another thousand years, before the greatest heroes and priests of his time came together, and used a pair of ancient blades known as Faithkeeper and Lifedrinker to seal Kiin-Du'ul in an ancient temple, thousands of feet below the surface of the Dreamland. He was sealed in his tomb, alive. He lie there, conscious for thousands more years, until late, when a foolish wanderer decided to delve the tomb for wealth and fame, knowing not of the ancient evil entombed below. He removed the swords from their place in the burial chambers, releasing Kiin-Du'ul to wreak havoc upon the world again. Although his entrapment has weakened his powers, taking away his godlike status, and decaying his body. He now seeks to unleash his revenge upon the pitiful world that kept him under it's control for oh so long.


Abilities/Power: Kiin-Du'ul controls the magics of Necromancy and Cryomancy, giving him a wide range of abilities. Also, being an ancient king and a demon, he has seen most forms of trickery, being able to (mostly) tell when people are lying. His mask, Nahkriin, protects him some mental things such as charms and hallucinations.

  • Dead Control/Summoning- He can raise the dead to do his bidding, be it zombies, draugr, ghosts, or skeletons. He can also, given enough time, open a portal to limbo, being able to summon moderately sized groups of wrathmen, and bonemen, more powerful undead.
  • Necrosis- He can curse mortals, causing their skin to rot and their muscles to weaken. This affect can be stopped by anything holy.
  • Atronach Control- He can summon a frost atronach, essentially a very large golem made of magical ice.
  • Frost- He can spray an ice mist from his hands, with it's temperature reaching well below zero, freezing surfaces almost instantly, and slowing the movements of mortals, with prolonged exposure giving them frostbite.
  • Night- He can use his dark magic to sap the light from the surrounding area, and anyone within 25 feet of him will be surrounded by a pitch black darkness, and torches and the like will not work. Night vision can still see through it just fine however.
  • Blizzard- given 5-10 minutes to prepare, he can summon a mighty ice storm, with baseball size chunks of hail, fast winds, and extremely low temperatures, with high levels of snowfall, limiting visibility to just about 10 feet.
  • Undead Vitality- Being decayed himself, if he is injured, he can use the body parts of his undead servants to heal his own, although it takes several hours to successfully fuse them.

Other: He usually doesn't walk, floating a few inches above the ground, although he will land to fight with his swords. He is weak towards holy weapons/artifacts, fire, and his physical body is extremely weak, which is why he prefers to stay out of combat.

History: Teijo was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, his father owning a multi-national corporation. Growing up, everything was handed to him on a silver platter (Often literally), so he doesn't really know how to deal with being told no, or otherwise not getting what he wants. As he got older, he was enrolled in a private academy to teach him how to run the corporation when his father was gone. As such, he spent most of his youth studying, and didn't really make many friends. At the age of 21, his father had a fatal heart attack, and the entirety of the company was tossed on to Teijo's shoulders. Although he has done well for business, his line of work leaves him extremely stressed. One day he just passed out from the stress in his office, never to wake up. The next thing he knew, he was an ancient demon lord. It happens to the best of us I suppose.


(Hope he's not too OP! Tried to balance it out with the fact that he almost needs powerful magic to keep from being slaughtered by opponents who use weapons.)

Personal Appearance: As seen in the picture above, Pian Sui is an elderly ratman, standing at about 5'5'' with little fur on his bony body and what remains being thin and discolored, though his facial hair has grown impressively across the ages, giving him what could pass for a wizened look if he wasn't, you know, a giant rat. He sports rather frightening non-retractable claws and jagged, pointed teeth which look perfectly capable of biting through steel, though his body shows the ravages of advanced age, being bent and lacking in vigor. For clothing, he is perpetually clad in robes typical of mages and the like, his being black with dark blue trims and posessing a large hood which doesn't particularly help to hide that he's a giant rat.


Personality: Pian Sui is calm and wizened as befit one his age, approaching almost everything in life with a slow, deliberate pace, always taking time to think things through and find a good course of action. He has a peculiar outlook on life and its eventual futility in the grand scheme of things that makes him care little for material goods while still encouraging everyone to enjoy theirs as much as they can, and he is usually polite but outspoken and honest to a fault, as he believes he has lived too long and seen too much to hold his tongue at this point. Despite these amicable traits, he can also be quite cold and thinks nothing of using his talents against whoever manages to displease him in some way, often with horrifying results.

History:


Pian Sui is old. Very, very old, to the point where no one can really point out when exactly he became an advisor to the highest positions in the beastman hierarchy, for how long he has served a succession of rulers or why he has never bothered to take the throne himself. No one has ever seen his human form either, as he never uses it, and some think he doesn't have one anymore. Periodical dissapearences, short rests he calls them, where he seemingly vanishes from creation and remains unreachable for decades at a time, only add to the mystery of this seemingly timeless counselor.


His loyalty to Therian and its ruler a proven fact, alphas just accept that he comes with the position and will likely remain after their time in power is over. Though some might take exception, his considerable knowledge and power, total lack of ambition and general usefulness mean he's a very tempting ally and he has rarely been dismissed in his extremely long life. There are rumors that the few rulers who did met with a grisly fate, along with whoever they used to replace him, but they are completely unfounded and anyone with a modicum of education knows better.


Abilities and powers:


-Death magic: Death is the only constant in life, at a certain point everyone and everything ceases to be. Pian Sui has a very intimate connection to this universal truth and can weaponize and control it to a certain degree, allowing him to bring about an extremely accelerated rate of decay on a target as if an absurd amount of time had passed for it. He does this primarily by touch but can also release a kind of thick, black fog known as miasma that causes the same effects according to his will.


-Envoy of the plague: Pian Sui is host to a horrifying variety of diseases and toxins, many of them lethal in a variety of ways, which he has integrated to his body via sorcery and can selectively infect others with them by touch or with his miasma as well as add new afflictions to his catalogue. While the method of integration and control is magic, the maladies themselves are not and thus remain a viable weapon should Pian Sui ever find himself in a situation where his magic does not avail him. On the flipside, this also means he can create cures for almost any ailment in the world.


-Call of the Vermin: Pian Sui has exploited his intimate connection to vermin of all sorts as a ratman and can call upon them to aid him at a moment's notice.


-Ages old alchemist: Pian Sui has lived long and prosper, and given the right ingredients he can concoct a mindboggling number of potions, salves and the like as well as conduct fascinating work in the fields of bodily modification and the creation of semi-living constructs.


-Night vision: As a ratman, Pian Sui is perfectly capable of seeing in the dark.


Fighting skills:
Pian Sui cannot fight, but he is fairly good at running away for someone his age and as a rat has quite the knack for hiding. His claws, however, are fairly sharp and his bite can go through metal as befit a rat.


Weapons: Carries around a sturdy staff, mostly because he kind of needs it to get by, or at least he likes to pretend that he does. Has a small knife that's more of a tool than a weapon. Often carries a number of vials with all kinds of dangerous things, results of his alchemic practices, concealed on his person.

Although it can alter it`s appearance at will, while always staying as a metallic creature with a energy beneath the metal, the core usually takes the form of an angel.Personality:


In paragraphs please, one paragraph minimum.Curious and eager to learn, the core always seeks to find out more about the world from which it was sealed. Being the power source for a living metal, it`s emotional and vocabulary knowledge is very limited. Still, it tries to learn in whatever way it can, and even a simple fairy tale can peak it`s curiosity.


It usually snacks metal other than etherium and doesn’t reject other energy sources other than itself, although it is aware they are not sapient like him. The core has before compared it to the way others eat sweets: it`s not for the food, but for the taste. Another thing the core enjoys is the way music makes the etherium vibrate. However some other sounds, such as the ones from shouting or from a natural catastropit may be taken negatively by the core, resulting in a fearful or aggressive response.


The core is creative, imaginative and diplomatic when it comes to the world around him. It tries to solve everyone`s problems, befriend everything and entertains itself by trying to figure out how tit`s or that works or by trying to picture something it has certainly heard of or a theory it is developing.


When it comes to fighting, the core`s lack of understanding of language makes it unlikely that it`ll take offense of anything. For that reason, it may fight under the request of a being it befriended, but will do so without any passion or effort and simply attempt to end it mechanically and quickly. However, should the core come face to face to a miner, it will make sure it/sit receives as much pain as possible, in vengeance.

*magnetsHistory:Etherium. Living metal, capable of quickly shaping itself. There are entire plains and islands, made entirely of these metal. However, few know that in the middle of tit`s, at the center, every one of tit`s massive chunks of moving metal, there needs to be a core. The breath of life of this metal, cores control it`s behavior as the massive energy centrals they are. However, cores aren’t just an energy source: they organize the etherium they supply.


Not long ago, there was an attempt to mine a plains of etherium. The metal retaliated and all the miners were killed. Yet, they did manage to reach the core. ..and to free it. The now freed energy source took some etherium with it for protection, before setting off to explore the world.


It`s been a little over a year, and yet the core still barely can comprehend the basics of the world that surrounded it. It made a recent visit to see it`s now dead and heavily pierced steel, but ran away in horror.


Abilities


Power:Etherium- Etherium is a living metal, capable of quick alterations of shape. The creation of things such as arms, spikes, weapons, etc… is not uncommon. Additionally, etherium can take the properties of other metals in comes in contact with, which it can absorb if provided with enough time to do so. Lastly, etherium has a high resistance to temperature variation. However, there is a downside. Being shape of etherium means that should it ever be cut from it`s source of energy, it will become nothing more than a buble of mindless liquid metal.


Energy source- being the core, contains an energy source. Though rarely used, enough damage to the etherium layer will cause an explosion which may electrocute nearby enemies, but will also shut down most of the core`s “brain” functions for a while.Fighting skills: Usually sticks to re-shaping it`s body and striking enemy`s the old fashioned way: stabbing.Weapons:It is it`s own weapon
