Fantasy DRAKI FATES

Since I am CO-GM, I guess it's my duty to start it. Whether people are ready or not. Since my character is part of the hunters, we could just start with the hunters, going around their merry business, drinking, gathering up for the big hunt from all the different guilds.
As for the Drakis, it's the same. Interact a bit, settle into the setting and into your characters.
We can start, for now, not right at the sisters flying out, but just hanging around. Setting the setting, all that stuff, just until ThunderDire comes in and when she does, she and MoltenLightning will set out into the night.
How does that sound?

Do the draki have anything special going on during the harvest moon festival that helps contribute to the high number of hunter/draki encounters or is it just due to the large number of hunters in the area and them flushing everybody out? Also do the draki have any preparations for this time of year if they are aware of what's going on?

I don't really know how to jump into the roleplay since it seems to be only the hunters interacting right now. I really want to jump in, but I'm not sure how. Should I just wait? Or should I try to make something up to get all the Draki going with their posts?

The Draki could have their own celebration for sure. Since ThunderDire isn't coming on, I'd love for someone to kick start it off. Preferably Seasplash241 because they handle one of the royals; Amir White. But to be honest, I don't think we will be able to start this RP off without our some of key elements---which is Thunder Dire. She's the head of this RP, and with her not here, I'm afraid we can't keep this up...

I don't wanna change up the original plot too much since a lot of people I assume based some of their stuff around that. I could start something for the Draki to do, though, if that makes sense? Do you have a way to contact thunder?

Unfortunately, I don't. Yes, anything. I will contact Vampunk and see if she/he's gonna be interested in a little scuffle between Lionel and Liev.

I'm a bit sad that I didn't get on earlier now because I was gonna suggest that instead of celebrating, the Draki's could be preparing more scouting missions and patrols and making sure everyone firmly knows the rules of the tribe. They would be on edge and have to constantly keep their eyes out for hunters, but would still be able to go with their day to day lives. Some of the older people who have gone through a few harvest moons a dozen or so times would know that the hunters are out there, and they know that if they found the tribe whole families could lose their lives.

Since everyone would be on the watch for hunters and there would be tons of scouting assignments and preparation to do in case there was a hunter did find them and attack, everyone would be able to jump into battle or find a reason to join the battle.

I'd kinda see the celebrated nights for the hunters as nights that everyone waiting in preparation, horror or fear for the Drakis. Especially since they have young ones that can't really fight yet, and they could lose their home if found.

It would have been assumed that their big party and feast would come after the days of the large hunts for the hunters, as there would be less of a threat and less of a chance they would be found.
