Fantasy Dragon's Roar 3: Rise of The Dark Arts ( Finished )

"Mhm.....Mhm.....mmmmmmhhhhmmm." Grimm stops writing and nods his head. "I'm sorry Bruce but you've been diagnosed wiiitthh." Grimm looks at his piece of paper, then back at Bruce. "The flu. Look how red you are!" Grimm shows Bruce what he's been writing. A stick figure covered in red with a frowny face. "Wow I did your job better than you did."
"Turns out I just beat a world renowned therapist at his own game."

"What's wrong? Do you mind telling me in detail?"
"That's just unfair, we've been alive longer than any mortal and we know so much more than them, yet I still find that playing tricks like that on them is the most amusing."

Altiera stopped and looked back at Alice taking a deep breath and wiping her tears on her forearm, "I want to be of some use in the coming death battle. I was afraid that I didn't have enough power...I wanted to have enough power so you wouldn't have to worry about me dying. So I talked to Splinter. I wasn't always an archdemon, I'm sure you could tell but I was once human but an archdemon possessed me. I fought like hell and we eventually called a truce, but in the meantime I had destroyed everything, The villagers that had always been like family now feared and hated me even when I came to they were so petrified." More tears well up as Altiera spoke, her voice quivering, "They were so afraid but they kept trying to make me feel better anyways...I couldnt stay and let them live in fear like that so I left. Splinter, the fragment of the archdemon I hadn't devoured and was actually keeping alive becaome my only friend...He was with me for years..and now he's gone...he had to die so I could inherit the rest of his power in this little key..." Altiera held the key gingerly with great affection, :He had hinted at this..but I dismissed it everytime, not wanting to be truly alone I just feel so....empty there's no one sharing my thoughts anymore I am just alone in my mind and I cant take it." Altiera had sat down against a tree hugging her knees to her chest, "How do I fill this space?" Altiera locked eyes with Alice pleading with her words and eyes.

Bruce snatched the paper and ripped it up "you fucking wish. Now what's the deal? Why'd you have to go and destroy my country!? It was bad enough but Jesus Christ! Now did you just bring me here to tease me?"
Another piece of paper appears in Grimm's hand. "Tsk tsk tsk. Rabies.... Another symptom of the flu." Grimm continues writing on his piece of paper. "I never brought you anywhere. You brought yourself to this country after you abandoned your guild members." Grimm was floating behind Bruce at this moment and touches his arm. His skin starts to decay only to reveal bone. The same blast holes he received from the war appear once more. "It's been a while since you've experienced death right? Maybe you should get that flu checked out before it kills you again." With that, Grimm fades away. Bruce's body reverts back to normal once he does.

Alice slowly nods her head at her story. She wouldn't know what to do if she lost the other personalities. "There is one thing I could do."

"Yes and I've done my job. Are you planning to visit your son?" Grimm starts to swim in mid air.

Bruce would've started hyperventilating again had the wounds not gone right through his torso as well. He slowly started to calm down, his red aura disappearing. He hadn't abandoned the guild, he'd just did as Felix asked him to and left, hoping to do something actually productive out here instead of just sitting around and waiting for something to happen. He knew what Grimm meant now though, death was a good way to let him know. Perhaps he shouldn't be so brash. He flies back up and goes back to the area around Felix's house, still not wanting to disturb the guy any more. It was no use trying to confront Grimm about the U.S. or anything at all really. Bastard.

"Probably, I'll also inform the rest of the guild of what happened across the U.s., as long as that's okay. I know our meddling may be causing some problems for other deity's." (logging off, have a goodnight everyone.)

"You don't have to tell them about it. This will only distract them and I don't have time for extra therapy sessions. Did you know Bruce has the flu. One of the symptoms is rabies... shocking."

Altiera looked up at Alice, a mix of excitement and curiosity plastered on her tear-streaked face an eager "Really" passing her lips, her muscles loosening slightly.

"Yeah... Do you want me to go through with it?"

[QUOTE="Kai'zen Makaira]Altiera took a short moment to consider the possibilities and nodded slowly, "Y-yes, go ahead."

Alice has a small speck of her mana touch Altiera which enables her to speak within her mind. Altiera wouldn't be able to hear the other personalities though. "How's this?"

Altiera feels the mana flow into her and the emptiness begins to fill as Alice becomes literally a part of Altiera, the archdemon's consciousness gently nudges Alice's sharing some feelings of anxiety, fear, and relief but most powerful was the wave of gratitude that washed over Altiera and bled into the mental link. "Thats, great..perfect!..Thank you Alice." Altiera stood her last few tears to flow were tears of joy as a large smile lit her face she rather abruptly hugged Alice a warm sensation being passed from Altiera to Alice.

"Alright then... is there anything I can do for you right now?" Royal releases Felix to give him the freedom to move. "Morgan can work on the ceiling. Once again I'm sorry about this." She kept saying it but she was slowly starting to hate apologizing for Bruce. She also disliked seeing Felix in such a terrible mood. "Forget it. I won't apologize in his place for something like this." Royal was dropping her sweet princess-like facade for a moment. "I won't excuse him for what he said or did. I'm honestly tired of it, especially when he crushed he emotionally crushed Origin. He doesn't know it because she was hiding it but he did. She told us in our heads and we've been trying to stay low key about it but I'm 100% done with Bruce. I won't tolerate his crap any longer."
He drops his chin on top of her head, his arms resting on his shoulders, "Part of me wants to say that it's fine not to apologize for someone else's mistake, but another part wants you to stand by your guild members," When she mentions Origin, his brows pull into a frown, "What do you mean 'he crushed her'?"

The stench of blood radiated from a cave inside the forest. The thick smell warded off the gentle animals and began to attract more hostile creatures. Inside the cave Hemo stood over three bodies that had been drained of their crimson life fluid. "Humans sure have changed a lot." It said as it examined his new body. "At least with height... everything else seems to be pretty much the same." It disrobed robbed its male body along with the three that were on the ground then mixed and match their clothes to create an outfit it was happy with. "These garbs are quite unique as well.... I guess today they would call them 'Threads'?" After dressing itself Hemo walked outside of the cave. It began to scan the area with its bloodshot eyes, "Where the hell have I found myself?"

"He was basically one of the first guys to talk to her about how he felt in this guild. He said she was attractive so she asked if that was it expecting more. So he said he would like her in bed... that's basically it. I don't know if that's his form of flirting or wanting a relationship but it hurt."

This was the second time today, the second time Alice received a hug. She raises her arms and hugs Altiera back to return the gesture. It was quite nice actually, though she would never admit it. She made sure subconscious thoughts were blocked off as well as unnecessary mental commentary.

Bruce, having nothing better to do, walked around in the forest surrounding the guild's base of operations for now. As he did so he could smell the blood and followed its scent as best as he could, staying hidden in case he encountered some sort of threat... or friend... or friendly threat. He could smell the scent get stronger as he approached a cave as well as a man. Better to just reveal himself and not risk surprising him. He stepped out from behind the tree he'd been staying behind and cleared his throat "why hello there! Who might you be?"

Hemo looked at the man and slightly titled its head in confusion. It was getting accustomed to the new language that was being spoke. "Who am I? That's not an accurate question." As he assimilated with the fresh blood in his body the language would come to him, "A better question would, 'What are you?' And what I am is Hemo Sang." Hemo looked the man up and down examining his physique, "So who are you, and where am I?"

Bruce nodded along as he answered his apparently wrong question, his time with the guild always made it so that he ended up meeting strange people. Things, in this case. "I'll be sure to tell people that when I introduce you to them. I am Bruce West, former world renowned therapist... I guess I still am but the U.S. has been wiped out so that's more than half of my fans. Anyways, that means nothing to you. You're in a place called Nova Scotia, Canada. Don't know exactly what region of it we're in but still, better than nothing."

Hemo scratched its head than shook it, "You're right that information is pointless to me. I suppose I asked a pointless question." It walked close enough to Bruce so that it could place the hand of its vessel on his shoulder, "Your blood isn't that of a Deity. That is a good thing. It means I can trust you." It kissed Bruce on the cheek then took a step back, "I have a favor to ask you. I need to learn about today's society. You think you could help me out with that?"

Bruce was taken aback at the kiss, losing his composure for a couple of seconds before regaining it and clearing his throat once. At the mention of not trusting deities he judged it best not to introduce this person to Isabel. Besides, he'd been kicked out of the house. "I suppose I could do that... I've got nothing better to do. It'll be more of a challenge than it usually would be though. What time period were you last part of society? If at all."

Hemo bit its thumb in thought, "The last time I was in the Realm of Mortals... The last thing I did was flood the Nile with blood" It laughed, "That was pretty funny actually. You should have been their to see that Pseudo Demi-God Pharaoh freak out." Its smile swiftly became a frown, "Then the deities put me back in that damned box." Its still heart began to beat.

Bruce nodded along, knowing now where it came from. "All right, I guess we've got that out of the way. Sorry for you being sealed away and all. Anyways, let's start with technological advances, humans nowadays cam fly in machines known as airplanes. Thought I'd start with a big one first. Instead of chariots and horses we use things called automobiles or cars. Usually with four wheels and come in many different shapes and colors. Long distances are nothing to us now. Keeping up?"

"Whoa whoa whoa, That's impossible. Human can fly and they have horseless carriages? Show me these things. If what you say is true I won't siphon your blood." Hemo Crossed his arms in disbelief. "I don't appreciate liars."

"Well I don't want to make another trip somewhere so I'll show you using another technological wonder." Bruce pulled out his phone and got on the internet, first looking up planes and showing some to Hemo that were flying about, along with a short clip of the Blue Angels. "There's flight, still need more convincing? This is a phone by the way, I can talk to people wherever they may be for the most part or gain access to a huge database known as the internet."

When it saw what planes were Hemo didn't seem shocked but surprised that humans were smart enough to create them "These things... Their similar to what the long necks used." Grabbed the phone and tugged at it so he could examine it in Bruces Palm. "So...this device gives all things telepathy. Amazing, and it's a library of memories?"

Bruce allowed for it to inspect his phone "just don't break it, they can be pretty fragile. It doesn't grant people telepathy, you simply touch the number buttons, or any button, and you can talk to someone through a signal. You still gotta use your mouth or fingers to communicate. Also, the internet is just something that can be accessed, much of it is created content. It's hard to really explain."
