Fantasy Dragon's Roar 3: Rise of The Dark Arts ( Finished )

Fayde kept walkng through the woods and having stumbled upon three different bear fight so far had decided to simply explore the clash points with his senses. He checked out two that he past and dismissed them his internal alarm blaring on the next point. Fayde felt an unfamiliar power, one that was surrounded by other familiar entities, namely Apex and Altiera. Moving quickly in that direction Fayde cut through the underbrush coming out near the groups he could see all the personas plus Itami, Emily, and Altiera. His now bleached features made him look a little unfamiliar but a second look identified him despite his changes.

The communication breaks off and the hooded woman nods her head in respect to her threat.
Grimm appears behind Siobhan at this moment in his armour. The blood stains from beasts in Utah were slowly disappearing. His metallic wings fold to his side after he gazes at the room. "Siobhan, are you unharmed?" Grimm kneels before her and reaches out to rest her chin on his finger tips to examine her. The armour around his hand disappears since it had extremely sharp talon-like fingers.





"So... my great grandmother who I never heard of... is a realm?" Isabel sits down on the ground so she could think about things. "Okay but how long would it take for you to set things up in the Abyssal Realm?"





"Get away!" Apex fires concentrated mana towards Isaac so it would float above him and push him into the ground. It would continue pushing until it was disrupted or he was flattened. The mana didn't reach him because of replacement magic sending it elsewhere.


Itami stops in between Isaac and Apex, his scythe no where in sight. "I feel bad for leaving Sinatos to deal with those beasts but I have to handle this." Itami slowly raises his hands and kneels down to show no sign of challenge. "Ashlyn it's your father, Itami. I'm here to help you honey, I won't hurt you."


Life flame starts to envelop Isaac to heal his injuries. Apex seemed hesitant on putting her firing hand down. Before she freaked out and fired again Itami speaks up. "Do you want me to sing you those lullabies you love?" Itami was using a soft voice when he spoke and never let his orange eyes leave her own.


Apex was on the brink of attacking them all but nods her head swiftly in response. A smile from Itami is received before he starts singing a lullaby Layla used to sing to him, which he sang to Isabel when she was young.


 



There was high tension coming from several areas of the forest. It was hard to tell where Isabel could be. In most cases it was just a bear fight.

Timor shrugs, unable to give a direct answer. “There’s no telling. Our mother has not told enough of how the portals actually work, only that they do, and Abyssum knows who can use them. The only thing I can think of would be the collapse the portal from the inside, but if you and your guild member are in there, then you would be trapped there. And there’s the unknown variable of dead spirits meant to go there possibly being locked out and let loose into the world.”

“Angry but unhurt,” She growls. She kicks the decapitated head of one of the triplets over to Simi, who unhinges her jaw to eat it whole, like a python. Her hands are balled into fists at her side, “They won’t get away with this. I’m done with Valhalla being Switzerland. I’ll kill that woman myself, I swear it,” She calms slight, holding Grimm’s wrist with both her hands and meeting his eyes, “Are you alright, papa? You have blood on your armour, and I’m hoping it is not yours.”

Itami was the first to notice him and waves his hand for him to back away. He needed to keep Apex calm and focused on him. Another person walking in suddenly could set her off.

"I don't know what you were talking about exactly but you mentioned me so many times, you triggered a portal. Since you are able to open up one here as my daughter." The woman stands and slowly approaches Timor with open arms. "Welcome home! This actually reminds me... do you have a significant other? Because let me tell you! When I found your father Negativity I just had to get my hands on him." She lifts up her pipe and ignites a flame at the opposite end where a certain situations substance is and puts her mouth on her end to inhale. She was obviously smoking something and by the way she was speaking, she was high.





"I'm fine since this isn't my blood. I'm eradicating all the vermin across America. Is there anything I can do for you before I return? I left since I felt a disturbance and refuse to take any chances no matter how elite your guards may be. It seems like I was just overly paranoid this time. I apologize." Grimm's armour around his head burns off to reveal turquoise eyes, identical silver hair, and a sheepish grin.

She is not afraid of the locusts, but simply stays still while they swarm her. When the woman speaks, Timor listens without interrupting, "No, I don't, mother. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm asexual before you understand I'm not interesting in having a significant other?" Timor sighs, but continues on, "I know I can, and I know I should visit you more often, but I've been busy. Fear hasn't been this high since World War II."

"I'm fine since this isn't my blood. I'm eradicating all the vermin across America. Is there anything I can do for you before I return? I left since I felt a disturbance and refuse to take any chances no matter how elite your guards may be. It seems like I was just overly paranoid this time. I apologize." Siobhan glowers at him without any real bite to it, but resigns to his word with an exasperated breath, "I am more than capable of protecting myself without the guards, papa, but your concern is appreciated. And there is a favour I need; I want you to take my to Isabella. I think it's time I met my niece."

"Hey, hey," She chides, placing her hands on his cheeks and guiding his head to look away from the wound to her, "It's okay. I'm fine, I'm going to live, and I'm not going to lose my leg or anything. When the time comes, we'll get them."

Alpha nodded his head slowly. "Yes. Yes we will," he replied softly, before standing up straight. He then sits down on the counter next to Jackie. "Is there anything that I can do to help the pain?"

She is not afraid of the locusts, but simply stays still while they swarm her. When the woman speaks, Timor listens without interrupting, "No, I don't, mother. How many times do I have to tell you that I'm asexual before you understand I'm not interesting in having a significant other?" Her eyes following his movement, she leans back, shaking her head, "It's fine; it doesn't hurt that bad, really," The fact anytime her leg so much as twitches causes her to wince points out her bold faced lie, but she smiles regardless. Her smile falters a bit, her eyes leaving his, "Sorry if you're over it already, but about kissing me... how long... have you...?" She trails off, trying to gesture her meaning with her hand, then she sighs, "How long have you felt that way?"

She looks up at the girl, bowing her head in greeting, "Hello, Isabel. You don't know me, but my name is Siobhan. I am your aunt, and daughter to Layla and Grimm."

She starts to explain the deal they were given to the best of her ability even if she assumed Grimm had told Siobhan. "So... what do you think?"





"Mortals and fear... nothing new to me but please explain about the Dark Arts. Last time I checked up on the mortal realm they were a small but intelligent group. They didn't inspire fear."

Dude, the night I told you that you weren't allowed to die - thanks again for dying, by the way - I said that to cover up a drunken confession. I thought that you didn't even see me as... As anything, really."

Siobhan smiles at Bruce, "Yes, I can imagine this war has been difficult without help," She sticks out her hand to him for a handshake, "My name is Siobhan, as you likely heard from my prior introduction. Who are you?"


 

"Allies? That's great! We're in a bit of a bind anyways. I'm still quite confused on the topic of these Dark Arts people but it won't stop me from fighting them." She starts to explain the deal they were given to the best of her ability even if she assumed Grimm had told Siobhan. "So... what do you think?"



"Mortals and fear... nothing new to me but please explain about the Dark Arts. Last time I checked up on the mortal realm they were a small but intelligent group. They didn't inspire fear."

"Honestly? I think you'd be a fool to accept it as blindly as you seem to be. If you do take the deal, I'd recommend setting up precautions in case they end up not upholding their end."

Bruce clasps his hand over hers and gives it a firm shake. "I am Bruce West, former world renowned therapist now that a huge chunk of the word is gone."

Jackie blinks up at him, then pats his arm, "Right! You told me that when we met! That's fine, nothing to be embarrassed about. I thought I was fucking transparent, so I guess that's kind of a relief that you didn't know, haha."

Bruce clasps his hand over hers and gives it a firm shake. "I am Bruce West, former world renowned therapist now that a huge chunk of the word is gone."

She gives him an equally firm handshake, "A pleasure. I've heard of some of your work."

"You're just like your mother in a way. She's so awesome! She always knows what to do in situations like this and I seem to learn how to handle things because of her. Where is she?"

Fayde saw the lullaby singing man give him a signal to stay back, knowing how fragile Isabell's current state is he decided to heed the warning rather than charge in, knowing that even a stray blast could put him down at this time.

Apex was starting to calm down which was evident due to her touching the ground. Itami was slowly getting closer to her, trying not to set her off.

"Tell me what? Did something happen to her?!" Isabels full attention was on Siobhan. She wasn't even concerned about Grimm not telling her. She just needed to know Layla was alright.





"If the Dark Arts enter I'd like all of your allies to enter as well. There shall be a death party here. It ends when the leader of either group is taken out.
