Fantasy Dragon's Revenge

Altus tilted his head down as he listened to them conversing and agreeing with one another. He did not mind the Svana's reply to him, he was worried about the little dear herself. It was very simple for her to say yes and join in. She did not know or even had a clue of what they will be encountering. One unskillful bandit could be enough for her since she was weak.

He stood up and traced Slifer and journeyed with her towards the Typhoon Pass. A name he knows well of...

”My kin and I have been here for a century searching for answers to our sudden predicament, and now we have a lead… It’s time.”

Sil led the others on for several weeks until they reached Typhoon Pass.

They set up camp about a mile away from the entrance to the passage, with Sil sitting on an old tree stump watching the pass intently. Their trip over had been entirely uneventful, and they'd finally managed to all get used to each other... More or less. Even after a couple of weeks traveling she still didn't completely trust Altus, but if he kept himself clean for some coin then she was fine with it. The other two were fairly easy to talk to, and Sil let them in on the whole story on their journey.

At this point, Sil didn't know how to continue. She knew how to get here and how to get through on her own, but with these three?... Well, that was something she only thought about right. The pass was treacherous, and though she had the strength and reflexes to survive the trip there was no guarantee these three would. Altus, despite being a seasoned thief, was still only human. Massive beasts roamed the waters causing unnatural weather patterns and wild waters to sweep prey from the thin rocky pass. Altus was fairly strong for a human, but against the raging waters of the sea at the command of a beast like these he stood no chance. The other two even less so, especially the girl.

So what to do?...

What to do?

Altus caught his eye on Slifer and was worried what the matter was. She seemed to be deeply thinking in which the Typhoon Pass was related to it since she was looking straight at the entrance. Altus had heard stories and legends warn of the Typhoon Pass. They warn about the horrors under the tides, monstrosities words alone could not explain, and a path that was carved and was not meant to be taken. The Typhoon Pass was a nightmarish highway to hell.

He snapped out of the series of horrifying images and continued to wonder what Slifer was thinking. Altus walked towards her and joined her as he sat down beside her, "Ah, The Typhoon Pass...I've longed wanting to see for myself if the creatures were real. And a dragon disguised as a human was enough to start it..." he started. He waited for Slifer's reply and tilted his head down and played with some twigs and grasses. For some reason he did not want converse with her with his normal style of talking. He wanted to make the person laugh and he himself. He loved smiling and joking even on serious talks. Now, for some reason, he wanted to be serious. "What troubles you? Slifer?"

All he could think about now was her reply. Altus was clear and empty now. And all he could ever do was release a heavy sigh.
