Do note that Grey has dismembered him entirely, castrated him, taken the skin off of his face, cut his nose and ears off, and taken his eyes out, along with other cuts and such. The only reason this wasn't in the original post was that it would likely have gotten too gory with the descriptions I would have put in

Lilith Tennant
Lilly came to the booth in the very corner, where her sword till rested against the wall in the same place she left it. It wasn't that surprising as the sword was enchanted to be far too heavy for any sane person to weild.


Still it was a comfort to sit next to it once more.


Shifting slowly she placed Alicia to lie down on the booth seat, her head nestled in the tall woman's lap. Slowly her fingers ran through the girl's hair, letting her sleep.


As Grey walked in and sat it took her some time to lift her gaze from the sleeping girl to look at him. She wasn't sure what to say, then. Like words were lodged in her throat.


She noticed the blood over him, but took no heed. She had been covered worse in her battle's from time to time. She whispered then, soft, almost unheard as her gaze drifted down to the bar table.


"Thank you Grey..."


She wanted to tell him she couldn't imagine how she would be feeling had Lt. Connel actually pulled through with his surprise attack. She wasn't sure if she could deal with it again..


"You saved my life..." The corner of her lips turning up gently.


Then she glanced to the side, almost shyly though she wasn't familiar with the emotion.


"Should we head back to the Alchemist Shop? I think you deserve a bath and some semblance of sleep... For a guy who loves to nap, you've been awake for days now..." The tiniest hint of worry in her voice.


MEANWHILE BACK AT THE PLOT


He threaded his fingers, legs dangling off the edge of the tavern roof, peering down to the pile of meat, blood and bone tucked in a corner of the alleyway. At least the transmutation held for the battle... He played his part well.


"How very interesting..." Palms glowing gently as they touched. "What a low level, idiot solider..."


"Still..." Pausing in thought.


"A surprise attack is not going to work on Lilith now... Not with that man and that butterfly girl surrounding her... I'm going to have to secure a different power source before I can tackle that group again..."


Crimson eyes lifting to peer to the horizon. "I think it's about time I acquire that hydra..."
