I'll have you know breastplate is an actual thing. And it has been called tit plate on various MMO's because game designers were to lazy to make male variants so it looked like the armor itself had boobs >_>

This reminds me of how people complained that they couldn't tell the trooper lady was a female because her armor didn't have boobs and everyone was like ??? It's armor??? On a female??? Doesn't have to have obnoxiously conspicuous boobies for your weird entertainment

Yeah. The game designers took breastplate literally and puffed out the chest area, when in reality it's supposed to conform to ones chest and stomach regions. Obviously the female varient would have a slightly bigger chest area(or not provided they have no chest, lol). But on the game that coined it as tit plate, it literally looked like the armor had boobs.
