Fantasy Dragons and Humans~ The War

Mist had to get out of the way quickly as Ve-lack suddenly grew to nearly 50 feet. God, he was huge. She was farther away to the side now, and was still silently watching them. Suddenly another dragon came in and Mist's odd colored eyes widened in surprise.

"Well then we have a problem since I have no intention to leave." Lavi said as he quickly whistled and his bird popped out of nowhere grabbing his arrows and scattering them around the soon the be battle field he had ten left in the quiver. He was confused that another dragon seemed to appear out of no where to help him. "I don't need you're help don't but in my fight I don't want someone else getting hurt because of me." Lavi said to the new dragon.

Ve-lack bared his teeth "You fool, weakling. I am a high dragon. If you dare attack me you have no chance. I would not hurt the Human, but i am to question this small creature. I do not want any listening." He stood on his hind legs, and loomed over the other Dragon in show of dominance.

(indeed that is why on his hind legs he is capable of creating the illusion that he is taller)

"No one dares call me a weakling I'm stronger than my own dragons they don't possess the power I contain. So I think we wouldn't know whose stronger. And why would you even ask another dragon a question if your bigger than it?" He says to him and he ignored what the human said as he was standing over him to try to defend the human that was below him.

(I see)

Mist looked around, wondering who the small creature was. Then it dawned on her; it was probably herself.

She frowned. That wasn't a very good nickname. She wasn't that small, was she? She was still a dragon though.

When the other dragon began talking again, she looked up and kept watching, very curious. The two weren't really going to fight over such silly matters were they?

Ve-lack stared at the other Dragon for a long time. This was why he hated all other living beings. They always got in your way. He sat back down on his four legs, and reclaimed his sanity. Fighting another on such trivial ideas was completely ignorant. He had lived long enough to notice this. He turned away from the others, and looked into the eyes of the small one. "why did you follow me?"

Lavi was getting very annoyed. "REALLY YOU ARE ALL JUST GOING TO IGNORE ME YOU ARROGANT DRAGONS WHAT BECAUSE I'M HUMAN." Lavi lost his cool and shouted all the dragons were just ignoring him because he was inferior as a human or at least in there eyes he thought he was.

"Scum." Lavi said simply nodding his head side to side in a disapproved manner if all dragons are like this he may end up becoming a hunter which he hates most of all.

Justin turned into his human form knowing he could be slightly stronger because he was apart of the high dragon race though they were the same size. But maybe he was wrong they could be just as strong. "Your not inferior nor are we superior Humans and dragons are both equals, but they don't think so ever since the war started..." He said to him. "Well, we should get out of here if we were smart, I'm not going to mess with him and he won't mess with me so you should get alittle away before a fight could start" he said to Him.

"I didn't." Mist said simply to answer the first dragon's question. She could have given more information, but chose not to yet. She glanced over at the human, apparently unphased by his yelling. She had always thought it was kind of funny, and almost cute, when humans were in rage. Well, sometimes it was funny.

Ve-lack looked at the small one with squinted eyes. "I don't like any of you creatures. I'm going back to my mountain. Good day to you Human."

"Then why do you take OUR form." Lavi said angrily but it was the truth dragons take the human form every so often.

"We take human form to communicate to you, no one speaks dragon language, you would have to dedicate your life to it." He says to him

"Bye, Ve-lack," Mist called with a wave and small, friendly smile. She didn't care if it seemed flirtatious or annoying, she was just always acting like this. She glanced over at the human and couldn't help but grin with amusment. Wasn't it obvious why they did? The other dragon only explained part of it.

He turned to the shadow dragon "Your really gonna just stand there and not do anything Miss Shadow Dragon?" He says to her and he just sat on the ground being bored from standing up. He gave her a look that says 'don't say the other part of it' he just looked at the young dragon that was about atleast 30 years younger than him.

As he flew back to his nest, he saw the village he was going to very unwisely enter in human form. He smiled to himself, and landed on a peak. He quickly switched his physical form, and ran down the peak to reach the village.

"Hold on, how do you know my race?" She asked with a frown, narrowing her eyes. He didn't quite get her species however. She had heard of Shadow Dragons, but the Ancients were more powerful, and more rare.

"I can tell by a dragons appearance and aura, It's one thing I was taught when I was younger." He says to her not bothered by who she is. He seen many dragons before they were almost killed but he only seen three since this day and age started and the three was Ve-lack, the girl and him.

"Well, you didn't figure out my species exactly," She said with a teasing smile. Her race was said to be extinct many many decades ago. Her parents were apparently the last two. And now there were five, that Mist knew of at least. Her two siblings, herself, and her parents.

She was now curious to see if he would figure out her race, and what his reaction would be.

As Ve-lack reached the village gates, he saw guards on patrol. Perhaps he would cause some chaos, or he could try to make the villagers think he was a Dragon that would be funny. Suddenly a bolt flew across the field, and hit the ground next to him. the guards were shooting crossbow bolts at him. Did they know he was a Dragon? He saw many soldiers coming across the clearing. This would not end well while he was in this form, but he wasn't going to attack. In fact he was going to run away in Human form. This was going to be fun.
