Fantasy Dragons and Humans~ The War

Lizzy

Lady, running down to the riptide
A few years ago, humans had become sick of dragons and had begun a war.

The dragons were much harder to kill than imagined though, and that is why the war is still no where near over.

Not all the humans are on board with killing dragons though. Some think they could be useful as mounts or weapons. So now the war is split into 3 groups. Riders, Hunters, and Dragons.

Riders~ They want to tame and use the dragons as pets/mounts.

Hunters~ They want to kill all dragons.

Dragons~ Large, powerful beasts that are able to shape shift into a human

(Read the rules!)

--

There is a village where the humans live, and all around that is trees and forests. Many miles further are hills and mountains. Most of the dragons live in this area where they are far from the village, and can live in caves.

Mist was in the outskirts of the forest, less than a mile from the humans' village. She had used to be able to enter the village -as a human obviously-, but now the risk of being noticed was greater and much more dangerous. It seemed every human was out to get the dragons, and Mist didn't like the idea of being captured or killed.

The sleek dragoness sighed and laid down on the smooth ground. She had found a peaceful clearing and was resting there, just silently debating over the thought of going into the village.

Ve-lack stood on a large mountain peek looking out into the distance. It was a stunning and beautiful sight. It didn't matter how cold it was anyway. He enjoyed that sensation. He began to revert from Human to Dragon form. Once he was complete, he tensed his wings and flew into the distance shouting his loudest roar in order to aggravate the Hunters after him.

Justin the Blue Fire Dragon fly across a town and he flies to his hidden mist on the top of a huge mountain trying to stay away from the humans. He was attempted to be tamed once but the rider died in the process because he is very strong to be tamed.

Her acute ears suddenly heard something in the distance and the dragoness lifted her head, looking in the direction. There was another dragon nearby?

Mist slowly stood up and beat her wings, silently rising into the air and out of the trees. She just wanted to see if there really was a dragon, and if it looked dangerous, she'd probably get out of the way.

She saw a very tiny figure in the distance, and it seemed to be nearing her. She couldn't help the curiousness that rose inside her.

Lavi was walking a few miles away from the town exactly how many was unknown it could have been one it could have been ten for all he knew he sent out his bird Tulip to scout for him they had a simple relationship Lavi would feed and protect Tulip while Tulip would scout and keep Lavi company. Tulip returned after searching for a while about two hours to be correct when she(Tulip) returned and landed on Lavi shoulder it pecked him three times his sign for dragon with one being human, two being animal and three being dragon in there way of communicating. Lavi heard the roar but he wasn't interested in it killing dragons was the last thing on his mind and it was a aggressive roar showing signs that he was attracting attention. Lavi walked a bit more and came into sight of the mighty creature in front of him a black dragon a great and beautiful creature resting in a clearing now this was the scary part for Lavi but alas he missed his chance the dragon flew off just as he was going to make contact. So Lavi decided he would sit by a nearby tree whistling a tune he knew.

Ve-lack continued flying, but saw a small village. He pondered the question in his mind. Was it really intelligent to enter the village? No. Was he going to do it? Yes he was.

The distant figure only grew larger as it neared and the smaller dragon, she didn't really want to meet up with it. So, quite elegantly, she dropped back down into the clearing beneath her. Not noticing the human just behind her.

Ve-lack had seen the small creature flying closer to him. He saw the village, and flew away from it in order contact this small being. He hated the idea of being followed and was going to figure out just why the small being was doing that.

Lavi was shocked to notice that the dragon who left moments ago was back but still Lavi had no idea if it was a aggressive dragon that can't be talked to or a dragon that would talk. Lavi stood up and slowly walked towards the dragon his bow was on his back and he made himself unarmed. "Erm Hello." Lavi said how the hell does someone start a conversation with a dragon he began to think as he showed himself to the dragon.

Mist flipped around to face the voice. Her teeth were bared, showing off her teeth that were identical to daggers. Her blood red eyes flared and she growled. She made no move to attack or flee though.

Mist was about as tall as a horse, if not a little shorter. Her body was longer though.

Her eyes scanned the boy, and when seeing him unarmed, she still didn't calm down into the lazy dragon she usually acted like.

Lavi moved closer to the dragon he was fascinated by it being able to see one at this distance was amazing. Lavi kept moving until he was about 20 meters away he didn't know if the dragon under stood him or not but he was going to try anyways. "So whats you're name." Lavil asked as he sat down on the floor.

As he neared a small clearing (much too small for him) He saw a Human, and another Dragon. However his pace did not falter. He landed with a crash toppling many trees in the process. He let out a low growl to the Human. It could very likely be a hunter, and he wasn't one to take chances. Especially around the thieving, lying Humans.

Lavi saw the other dragon come crashing down so he turned his body to face it. "Okay he's big." Lavi said as he slowly was backing towards the black dragon behind him. Great so i'm stuck between two dragons this isn't my lucky day Lavi said taking deep breaths less out of fear and more because he was waiting for what would happen either way he was ready for it.

Mist watched him near, and just when she was about to calm down and quit appearing hostile, trees were crashing down around them and a loud growl was sounded behind her.

The smaller dragon turned around and stared up at the other dragon. This was the one she had seen barely a minute or two before!

Now the human was in the middle of them and she couldn't help giving a small snicker.

Mist just watched the other dragon, quite curious of what he planned to do.

Ve-lack turned his head sideways. He didn't care about this ignorant Human. He wanted the Dragon behind him. Questions were in order, and he was going he was going to find out what this Dragon wanted from him. He walked towards the Dragon lightly pushing the Human out of the way with his finger. He loomed over the dragon and began to speak. "who, are you?"

Justin heard a few dragons not that far off and he decided to go over to the sound of them. He thought he was the only dragon still living maybe He was wrong. He flew close to the village but far enough so he they can't see him. He turned into his human form and ran to the village quickly and saw a human and two other dragons.

The guy was definitely huge. Mist took a step backward and shifted into a human with a flowing red dress on. "I'm Mist. Pleased to me you...." Her polite sentence trailed off as she waited for him to say his own name. He was still obviously much bigger than her, and she didn't really like that disadvantage on her part.

Lavi was pushed aside like the common pile of rubbish which he didn't like not one bit. "God dam arrogant dragon." Lavi muttered rather loudly he was tempted to pullout his bow but he hates to hurt any animals so he just watched to see what would happen between the dragons this interested him he was able to see not only one dragon but two.

He let out a loud sigh "Name? You want my name? Ve-lack." He pulled a sword from his sheath, and pointed it at the Human. he looked at the human, and all that could be seen through his mask were his yellow eyes staring intently at the Human. he said to him "It needs to leave."

Mist smiled in a friendly manner, "Yea. Pleased to meet you, Ve-lack." She looked over at the human, who had a weapon in his hand. "If you want me to tell it to leave, I can't help you there. I don't own it." Mist explained simply.

"Why should I leave I have been hunting these grounds for years now."Lavi said to the dragon because everyone knows getting mouthy with a dragon is the best way to go and since the dragon in human form pulled out his sword Lavi wasn't just going to stand there. Lavi with a quick spin of his shoulder pulled out his bow and loaded a arrow on it with very fast speed. "I don't want to hurt you dragon but if need be I will."

Mist widened her eyes at the human's brave yet rather stupid act. A small grin came over her lips, but she soon stopped and stepped away from Ve-lack. She didn't really want to be in the middle of a fight, if one did break out.

He snarled at the ignorance of the Human. "Did i say leave forever? No, but i will have no regret maiming you. If you do not." he sheathed his sword, and began to shift. His body became larger, and grew scales. finally the shifting was over with, and he stood in the clearing as a Dragon, and roared with great ferocity. He meant no harm to the Human, but had no intention of having him listen to his conversation with the other tiny creature.

Justin saw what was happening and he jump infront of the human and turned into his dragon form Being slightly same size as the other dragon and he spoke in dragon language "if you dare hurt him you won't live to see another day, he shows no threat so you will not hurt him, you understand me!?"
