Fantasy Dragon modern fantasy (Sign-up, OOC, and roleplay thread all now open! Links in thread!)

I came up with this idea a while back about a person turning into a dragon. This mainly stemmed from an old OC that I have scrapped.

The idea goes like this: Group of people of varying ages born with dragon tattoos/birthmarks that allow them to turn into dragons. Shape of birthmark controls what terrain the dragon traverses and it's physical weaknesses, color controls elemental alignment and various other magical aspects. The end goal is to secure some old relics that will finalize the removal of seal holding magic from the world.

However, the people who made the seal knew that soon that people would come for the relics and as such imbued specific family lines with powers to activate in times of "danger" towards the relic. These people range from antique collectors to museum security guards drawn to these objects for reasons unknown to them. And of course to throw an even greater wrench in these plans, there are crazy conspiracy theorists called "Dragon Hunters" who have recently grown in numbers that are set on slaying a dragon for reasons that an outsider wouldn't know?


So who is interested in my old idea that didn't work on another forum?

Is this a group roleplay? I mean, I am pretty down if dragons are involved!

Yea, it is. I always intended for it to be a group roleplay.

But it always went the same way where I used to roleplay, got people, but never got a solid enough grip on the dragon varieties and lore to actually start it.

This time will be different though, I think I've figured it all out.

That's good. I'll try having a character form and a small lore pile in a bit. Hopefully by the end of this week if I still have the old text document with everything.

Ugh. Worst came to town. Turns out I deleted the old text document after I posted the info on the old forum.

This means I'm going to have to dig through the archives of the old forum (because it closed down a while ago) to find the original post.

The real problem is that the archives aren't organized by date at all. This is going to require some digging.
