Personality:


Astrid is tough, stubborn, determined, and rather short-tempered. She is clever and smart, preferring to use her wits and speed in battle rather than her strength. She is competitive and has high standards for herself. Although she has a tough exterior, she is very caring and willing to help her friends.

Brave, determined and curious, Hiccup can't get enough of the world, he constantly wants to see everything. Hiccup is a risk taker and will stop at nothing to protect his family and friends.

Appearance:

Rather similar to Hiccup in build, Ashling is lanky, thin, not terribly tall, and weak physically. Her arms are toned, and she has wide hips and narrower shoulders. Her brown hair — previously long — was cut short just after the taming of Thunderburn. More often than not it is quite static-laden and messy. She has hazel-gold eyes. She wears a wool cape frequently during flight to ward off the cold, a long grey tunic, leggings under and boots(frequently though, those aren't on). She wears cloth belts on her hips to hold her satchel, which she carries medicine plants in.

Personality:

Ashling is quiet, reflective and thoughtful. She always described her feelings from childhood thusly: "I watched Astrid and always thought, 'I wanna be like her.' I later realized I turned out to be Hiccup." However, she is not sarcastic, and never craved approval of the tribe. She instead prefers to be alone and enjoys self-sufficiency, marching to her own drum and hanging around the forest. She is curious and selfless, always putting others before herself.

She also has a crush on Hiccup. She did when they were young and discovers she still has feelings for him once she joins the riders. However, he and Astrid meant she never acted on it and probably never will.

Bonus — Breif history:

Ashling was born in Berk, but at age four, her parents died in a fire due to dragons. She grew up with Hiccup, considering him a very close and valued friend — in fact her only friend in the village though it doesn't bother her. Once she grew older she left, knowing that dragon killing was not for her, and built a small homestead in the forest. Visits to Berk were infrequent, and she went almost exclusively to see her old friend.

After taming Thunderburn, she cut her previously-long hair short to cope with the static. She heard about Hiccup's dragon riders and outpost, deciding to join up.

Appearance:

Personality: Gwyn is a quiet girl who likes dragons more than people. She is very helpful and lends a hand taking care of the village's dragons. In her spare time she loves to go swimming with her dragon Echo. She also loves to explore the surrounding islands and beaches. She has a sort of laid back life style and tends to take things slow, never worrying or stressing about things unless they are really bad. Gwyn can be sarcastic and skeptical and she doesn't always blindly trust others, you've really got to earn it.

Gwyn is a surprisingly good cook and often cooks the fish she catches with Echo for the other dragons. She is an excellent swimmer and can hold her breath longer than most people as a result of spending so much time in the water with Echo. When she was younger some of the other kids used to make fun of her for spending so much time in the water, calling her a mermaid and saying she didn't belong on land. This lead her to keep to herself most of the time, until she met Echo and the two bonded almost instantly. She secretly dreams of visiting every nearby island and living in a place more adventurous than Berk. If she had it her way she would move to her own little island with Echo.

Dragon: Tide Glider

Name: Echo

Personality: Echo is a calm dragon, while he can fly he much prefers to paddle through the sea when he can. He like to go slow and enjoy the breeze but in the water Echo is quite fast. He is friendly to most other dragons and very loyal to Gwyn.

Appearance: He has small back legs, front flippers, and coral like horns on his head. He is light blue with white patterns resembling waves and sunlight on water.

Abilities: Echo is able to shoot acid and water at its opponents and its saliva is said to be able to heal. This ability allows it to heal other animals, dragons and humans. Its saliva is also in its water blast which can be used to heal wounds by spraying them.

Brant is a shy young man but he opens up eventually once you get to know him, he can come across as rude or snarky but thats mainly because he is bluntly honest an isn't afraid to tell someone the truth. Brant would do anything for someone he considers a friend.

• Fire: Like all Razorwhips, Silver's fiery breath can burn the flesh off a human from a hundred feet away.
  

• Wings and Tail: Due to her sharp scales and reflexes, Silver's body is literally a living weapon. Her wings can slice through trees and rocks. She uses her tail as a whip that can cut just as well, and can grip objects too.
  

• Lacrimal Toxin: Silver possesses poisonous tears that can be very deadly to her enemies.
