She sighed while walking o we to Syndraxia hugging her tightly. Sarah didn't say much as all she wanted to do was hug the girl as tears drop down get face and the words finally came out. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.." she said crying more thinking about Jerome. A black and red shock wave shot towards the two girls.


Crow Fullbring


Flash stepping in front of the two girls he stop the wave with one hand as he redirected it to another location. Once the wave crashed somewhere else it exploded and massive wind blew towards the three as it was a heavy blast. This was show casing how strong crow was. He looked where it came from as he noticed a hand touch his shoulder and his eyes opened wide as he dropped to the floor.

Looking at the two girls under his hoodie he didn't attack as he just stood there to admire the two. "Sarah Lo and Syndraxia Fullbring." He said taking his hood off as his hair flew back from the small breeze.

Sarah Lo


Sarah looked at the man for a split second as it reminded her of the missing child. Why did he resemble him so much? How did this man know Syndraxia and herself.

Kai sighed with a worried look. "To see who's alive." @Four Eyes

Corriander dident respond at first. He hadent considered that people would be dead, but if Kai was in this shape it was possible, even probable. Corriander kept his hand resting on the pomel of his sword, he dident know what they would find ahead.

Jack listened in on the conversation unknowingly, walking down the street and by the group of faces.


"Lizard... Squad? If it's a group you're looking for, I'd know all about whether or not they've been here. I can tell you confidently that no group, besides you, has come through in a while. The people you're looking for... aren't here."


He paused, letting it sink in, and tension die.


"However, if you're looking for help finding this group of yours, I've got..."


He cut himself off, probably going to regret his next words,


"I've got nothing else to do. Name's Stanson; Jack Stanson."

Jack listened in on the conversation unknowingly, walking down the street and by the group of faces.

Fear jumped when he heard the pair talk. Misery however looked at the pair cooly. Being a much older man he was a couple heads taller than Fear. Their hoods were down revealing Fears golden eyes and hair. Knowing there was no use in hiding the duo decided to confront the man and woman.


"Why good evening." Misery said cooly as Fear simply sat quiet.

He sat down in front of Sabirna as he smiled at the pot. "You really made this for me?" He said blushing a bit as he began to drool a bit. He looked up at her and then back down at the pot with excitement as this was truly his favorite meal since he was a child of course.

Sabrina Hyun

She looked at the Orange haired hero as she sighed and blushed looking away from him. "Don't say stupid crap like that.." Sabrina tried not to face him as she poured him some of the stew in a bowl as she handed it to him. "Happy birthday." She said sighing.

Ryun looked at her not face him as he was confused, once she had told him happy birthday and handed him the splendid bowl of the stew she's been working on for 3 hours now behind his back. He nodded and smiled scratching the back of his head. "Thanks Sabri." Calling the girl by her by the nickname he gave her symbolized their friendship.

Sabrina Hyun

She smiled at Ryun and laid her arms crisscross on the table as she leaned down to look at the Ryun. "I told you not to call me that..." She said blushing massively.

"You said not in public." Ryun said laughing at her as he rubbed her head before eating. He enjoyed the meal she prepared for him

Syndraxia was taken aback by Sarah's sudden hug, so much that she stood as stiff as a post while her mind processed what was happening. She muttered a surprised 'oof' and turned her eyes down at the crying woman who had attached herself to the dragoness. The shock from Genju's attack had not faded very much, but at least this unexpected display of affection distracted her from the fact that she had nearly died.


There was an awkward moment as the dragon searched for something to say back to the sobbing wizard. Meanwhile, Syndraxia absentmindedly patted the wizard's back in an attempt to calm her down. The dragon had seen humans do that to crying children, so in theory it should be the same...


"It... it is my fault for being separated. There was nothing you could've...- wait, look out!" her attempt at reassurance was interrupted when she caught a flash of dark red shooting directly towards them.


It was fast- too fast to dodge. Flames flickered to life around Syndraxia's form as a shadow extended from her back, but not nearly as fast as she would have liked. 'Come on...' she growled mentally.


Two dragon wings erupted from her back at the same time Crow flash stepped in the magical bolt's line of fire and redirected it elsewhere. A shadow fell across the two girls as the black membranes stretched around them to shield against the gusts of sand and rock caused by the explosion. Once the winds had died away, Syndraxia retracted her wings in time to see Crow fall to the ground simply from the touch of a hooded figure.


A growl escaped Syndaxia's bared teeth which quickly deepened into a thunderous rumble as the humanoid figure melded away into a full-grown dragon. Moonlight glittered off of her dark scales and were swallowed up completely by her burning eyes. Deep crevices snaked this way and that along the length of her neck and under belly and glowed a bright orange from her dragon's fire.


"Who are you?" she growled while glaring down at the hooded man. Now that he was closer, she was not entirely sure if he was human. Something about his scent was off, not to mention he had subdued Crow with just a touch. Regardless, she was prepared to attack should he make any sudden movements.

Misery narrowed his eyes and stated "There're out right now. What questions?" He asked. Fear shifted nervously. 'How does she know my name?!' He thought panicked

The obsidian dragon's tail swung slowly from side to side while her fiery eyes bore into the so-called spirit of the lost child. "Even if you don't take a fancy to him, it seems odd for a spirit to be this far away from their host." she growled suspiciously. Her eyes flicked towards Sarah in annoyance when the wizard stepped directly in her path towards the hooded figure.


"You still had no reason to attack us... and what did you do to our companion!?" Sparks flickered between Syndraxia's blackened fangs."I do not know how educated spirits are on manners but lobbing magical missiles is considered a foolish insult to a dragon."


It would seem as though she was not so convinced as Sarah Lo had been. A soft slinking sound came from below as the black beast drove her talons into the sand.

Corriander stayed with Kai and Ahri. After a while of serching he wondered if they planned on leaving the island any time soon. He thought looking for survivors was important but probably to large a job for two people and one unconscious woman

"I need your help on obtaining the heart." He said looking down at Crow and laughs silently. "I put pressure on one of the most sensitive spots of the humans body for magic flow." "Apparently so since it's quiet around this dump." He said laughing a bit.

"Don't be scared Fear." She said giggling at the boy as she put her hands to lay on her chest.

Corriander nodded and waved a hand. A shimmering blue platform appeared "Get on Ill lift us to the top" he said waving Kai over. He stepped onto the Barrier and once Kai was on, he raised his palm, turned up towards the sky and the platform began to rise. Once they had reached the top of the cliff they stepped off and the Barrier disappeared.

Jack rolled his eyes, he wasn't one for the emotional side of things.


"I don't know where they are. I offer you help, but it seems like you have things... whatever this is, under control? Whether you want it or not, I don't care."


His expression was unamused, his faith in these people sunk faster than he could have thought. His "fate" was to pick a side in the fight against the forces of the gods, but he couldn't tell where to go, when it would start, or when he would have to choose. His destiny could very well be lead to him down this road of strangers. It's destiny, and he doesn't find it, it'll find him.


"Keep in mind, groups don't come here without me knowing, especially ones looking for the guild. However, if you want to see the guild, it's built up in the middle of city, you'll know it when you see it, large steps, great banners, all that stuff."

(hmm, I think it might be interesting if dragons don't have one. Kinda like how the armored bears in The Golden Compass don't have a daemon. Also, from what I can gather the spirits supplement magical powers, which dragons shouldn't need unlike the mortal races. If you think otherwise I will make one for Syndy!)


The dragon was aware of the advantage this spirit would bring, but she didn't seem nearly as pleased as Sarah was.


At the spirit's comment Syndraxia's jaws snapped together in anger. "You may find that dragons have thicker hides and a much, MUCH shorter temper..." she growled dangerously. "If you touch me your mortal counterpart may find himself without a spirit."





The dragoness glared at the spirit for a moment to get her point across before her burning gaze shifted towards the unconscious body of Crow. At least his newfound silence was an improvement.


"Still... you had no reason to attack and subdue our ally. As for The Heart, that belongs to me." she hissed. Despite her apparent dislike for the man, she was being rather defensive of her fellowship.

He looked at the two and nodded. "I will show you how to control corruption. How to get followers and such sorts. First you must do a task for me though. Haunt three wild Urses (Which are giant bears)." He said looking at the two students wanting to test their capabilities. "If you can do that we can have a big feast."

As Azura healed in Hiroshi's personal domain he looked down at the island he nearly destroyed through a special apparatus in all god's room that allows them to observe the human world. Through this he could see Hinari crafting a magic circle. He didn't move to stop her or send a message. If she went to the Library he would seal her sight as is his duty to make sure the Library was safe.
