I have a question though: what kind of fighting styles do the saiyans have? I doubt that they would have human martial arts on Planet Vegeta. If they did, It would probably be under a different name.

I doubt that all the Saiyan's on Planet Vegeta have one fighting style that they follow. If anything, I'd say that each Saiyan has a fighting style unique to them. Like Zageri's fighting style which is a mix of street fighting and martial arts while Lottus uses his own, free flowing fighting style. So, in short, your character's fighting style is up to you.
