[Paravine]

School was out again. "Geh nothing interesting but the usual here.." Reed muttered walking to the park again. Seems like it was her new favourite place

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I step out of school**I rush to the forest, next to the park*

 

[Paravine]

Reed notices Alex out of the corner of her eyes and followed him out of curiosity. What was he doing in the woods?

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I easily jump over, around, or onto logs to navigate my way around*

 

[Paravine]

Reed pushed away the tree branches and sneaked up behind Alex, watching him intently. How can he not have sensed her? Either way, she was going to figure out what the guy was doing. Curiosity killed the cat

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I had sensed you presence, but didn't know it was you, and knew the right time to surprise you**I come along a tree with a branch that hung straight**I grab it and my momentum swung me around behind you and I quickly unsheathe my hidden dagger and point it to the back of your head, the tip on your head*

 

[Paravine]

"Eek!!" she squeaked and backed away "Woah, ok pleaseeeeeee put that down," Reed said pointing to the dagger

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I see it is you and sheath the dagger* "I thought you didn't want anything to do with me," I say.

 

[Paravine]

Reed raised her hands up in defence "I was just following you out of curiosity alright? I swear," she explained "Its weird seeing you here, wait WHY are you here?"

 

[Ben Douglas]

"That is for me to know, and you to not," I say.

 

[Paravine]

Reed sighed "Whatever you say," she said. What was it with the guy? Alex was acting a lot weirder these days. She made her way back to the park and sat on the swings like usual

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I continue on my way, just walking now**I walk into a circle of cleared land, no trees, just grass*

 

[Paravine]

Reed was still on the swings, now with earbuds in her ears. What WAS Alex doing?

 

[Ben Douglas]

*I sit down and lean against the one of the trees on the border of the circle**I lift up my shirt to inspect the cut, almost the size of my entire side, and swear under my breath* "It has gotten worse," I say.

 

[Paravine]

Reed sighs and decides to head to Alex's dorm. He must be home by now. And she was worried for him. She knew the guy was hiding something. Reed knocked on his door "Alex? You there?"

 

[Ben Douglas]

*No one answers*

 

[Paravine]

This was getting weirder each second. She tried again but there was no reply. "Tch that idiot.." she muttered and walks back to the forest to find him "ALEX!" Reed called out

 

[Ben Douglas]

*No one answers, for I've fallen asleep with my hand still near my huge gash*

 

[Paravine]

Reed finally got to the spot where they were last seen and gasped. The was a large cut sitting on his torso. She frowns now knowing why he acted like he did. Although she couldn't figure out who did it to him. Alex was asleep which left kneeling down beside him, tearing off a piece of cloth from her shirt and wrapped it around him. "Dammit, what the heck happened to you?" she whispered frowning

 

[Ben Douglas]

*My sleeping body twitches and tenses, the cloth obviously making the pain even worse than before*

 

[Paravine]

Reed bit her lips, trying to carefully lessen the pain. She wasn't good at treating wounds since she'd never actually done it before. Finally, after a couple minutes, she finished and breathe a sigh of relief. Alex didn't look so beaten up but he still looked like he was in pain. The girl ruffled his soft hair waiting for him to wake up so she could take him to the hospital

*My face scrunches up, the pain increasing by the minute*
