How does one become a Jeonseung Saja? Well, upon your judgement in Hell, King Yeomna will decide that for you. They say those who have been involved in the most disgusting crimes known to man, or those with great sin, will become a Reaper. As a Reaper, you have no memory of your past life. You donโt remember your name, how you died nor what crimes you committed. Many Reapers are driven to insanity as they try to figure out who they were before they died, while others have come to accept the fact of what they are now and hope that in guiding these souls will heal over any horrible thing they have done in the past.
A new wave of Reapers are coming and itโs up to the Golden Reapers and their Assistants to help train them. But will the Golden Reapers be able to keep these Newbieโs eyes on the main goal or will the Newbies be driven to insanity?

[ II ] There are FIVE positions available. Itโs NOT first-come, first-serve. Characters will be accepted based on who will make great additions to our plotlines
[ III ] Once or twice a week in the in-character thread. This is open to discussion once all applicants have been approved as personal and real-life is a top priority
[ IV ] Discord for OOC is a requirement
[ V ] Semi-literate at least. Therefore, expectations on posts are approximately 500 words (details and dialogue).
[ VI ] All the Reapers live together with the Assistants coming over early in the morning and leaving in the middle of the night (or when needed/not needed)
[ VII ] The Reapers are immortal (of course). The Assistants can either be humans, humans who can see spirits or based off of other mythological creatures
[ VIII ] There are consequences for when a human touches a Reaper. That person will have the smell of death on them and may find themselves in a lot of near-death experiences.
[ IX ] Chapters will be broken up into "tasks" or "events".
[ X ] Your character doesn't have to be Korean - this is a plot simply based on Korean folklore/mythology.

They were even personally hand-selected by King Yeomn, the ruler of the underworld, for this important role. While they are old in spirit, their youthful looks have stayed with them throughout the years.

Theyโre fresh to the scene! Having just recently passed away a couple of months ago, these newbies are fresh meat and off to learn how to be reapers under the watchful eyes of the Golden Reapers. All they know is that they became reapers because of the horrible crimes they committed as humans whilst alive. There is a lot to learn, but can they keep their minds off of trying to discover their past and focus on their present and future tasks?

You think these Reapers are able to do anything by themselves? The assistants are the ones who run this show! Itโs a tradition passed down their families with the first born taking over the job of their parent once theyโve retired. Basically, itโs their job to make sure the house is tidy, the reapers are fed and happy, and organise all their other crap to make it seem like theyโre just normal human beings living in a normal suburban area. Seems simple, right?

Or better known as the Grim Reaper.
Jeonseung Sajaโs are spirits under the command of the ruler of the underworld, King Yeomna. Their job is to collect and guide the spirits down Hwangcheon Road to the afterlife โ never to physically kill. They appear to be human with white, pale skin and sunken eyes. With their large-brimmed black hats, they can walk the Earth without being seen; that is unless youโve died. They are stern, unforgiving, brutally honest and have unending perseverance (Donโt try and bribe your way with one of these bad boys). Or better known as the Grim Reaper.
