Welcome to the world of DOMINATION. Just a forewarning, this is my first attempt at a full-blown roleplay on RPN, and this will indeed have a high volume of mature content (that is within RPN regulation) and even though this may be relatively open world, the laws of cause-and-effect are still valid. Meaning, what your character does may impact the shift in the story. Be prepared for the possibility of character deaths, power shifts,

gray and gray morality, and conflict within powersholders.

In the world of DOMINATION, character are the single most important thing. They not only create a story, but they keep things flowing. They all have lives and their own agendas. And from there, they impact the lives and plans of other characters. Each individual story at some point will interconnect with another and create an intricate web to be spun.

This is why I ask for interesting and in-depth characters. I would like some thought put into them. Some rhyme and reason. Possibilities are endless. All you need to do is ask if you are not sure. You can play an average Joe, who gets swept up in a game of corruption and lies... or maybe they were born into it. Maybe a saintly figure... or the devil incarnate. Whatever you choose, please feel free to expand on it with great detail. After all, the many layers of a character creates the best stories.

Before making a character, there are a few rules that I would like you to consider:

I have the right to deny your character for any reason. I also have the right to ask for you to change any single thing about your character if I do not see it fit for this rp or am concerned with it. I will generally be nice about it and give constructive criticism and am willing to give suggestions on how to change the subject in question.
All characters are to be humanoid. Androids and Artificial Intelligence are acceptable as well, but I will be putting a limit on how many non-human/altered human characters there are depending on the volume of incoming characters. So please, keep an eye out for this.
All characters should be relatively human-- meaning no one has super powers, however, they may have cybernetic enhancements. I am willing to accept outrageous amounts of cybernetics, so long as they are within reason for the character. Please also keep in mind the technological level of your district and technology accessibility of your character.
The age range of characters should be at least 14+. If your character would like a child that is below that age, they would be considered an attachment to your character and do not require a profile. Also, I will not be keeping a male:female ratio.
Anime/Illustrated/CG pictures for characters only. Please refrain from using incredibly popular anime characters (ex. anyone from Naturo, Ichigo, Iyaza, etc) as face claims. Please consider the time period of this rp, and try to keep away from characters wearing clothing from different time periods For posting, pictures in posts are not required.
PLEASE KEEP THE SETTING IN MIND WHEN CREATING A CHARACTER. LOTUS (what the United States is called in this rp) has been closed off of most of the other countries for a while, and even though there have been migration leeks, I don't want too many characters from "the outside world."
With the influx of cybernetic eyes, I will not be accepting any more characters with cybernetic eyes.
I have the right to edit, add or change these rules as necessary.

This profile code is very loose and open to customization. The bare minimums are stated and required, but if you would like to go above and beyond with your profile, I highly encourage it. Feel free to go crazy with it, so long as it follows the regulations of this world. I would like for you to ask me any questions if you are really not sure on something before trying to spin it just in case it may not work out. I know the pain of creating an ideal character, only for it to be destroyed because one thing didn't fit with the rp.

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS: He has a three-inch long scar on his neck just under the jawline, which appears to be the work of a dull blade.

He has a particularly short temper and tends to act on impulse. He once shot an associate in the kneecap because he mouthed off about his mother. The few positive role models in Edward's life are either dead or ostracized. For the last 15+ years, the Donatellos have raised him like a son and became a replacement for his long-lost father. His loyalty to the organization is unyielding and would take nothing short of a complete transformation for him to even think about turning on them.

Edward is the kind of person who makes a game out of everything. He had that eagerness ever since he and his dad used to play baseball. In this line of work, it works to his advantage. However, Edward's personal life suffers from treating women poorly, sleeping around a lot, and gambling into debt. Crowds liven up any time he enters a room. The guys respect his showmanship and confidence, giving him the standard "Attaboy!" and a pat on the back. This makes him fun at parties, but quite cold and distant in regular conversation. One might venture to say he is a shell of a person, but no one lives long enough to get to know him...
He is the nephew of the late Ralph Macchione, founder of Macchione Packing Company and caporegime of the Donatello Crime Family. The life of a wiseguy came early for Edward (like most blood-related associates). In his teenage years, he spent a lot of time around his uncle. Sometimes he would sit in Ralph's office while waiting for his mother to get off work. Other times Edward walked around the grounds. He witnessed incidents that he didn't entirely understand: pocketing cash from truck drivers, workers being physically punished for small errors, and his uncle orchestrating it all.

Strangely, Ralph seemed unconcerned about exposing the boy to such things. Perhaps he knew that Edward would one day take over everything he built. In turn, he became a father figure, filling that empty space left by his dad's disappearance in 2108. This captain of industry taught Edward a great deal about managing finances and instilled in him a sense of responsibility. Not to say that Edward wasn't a rambunctious child. Indeed, he was prone to misbehaving just as much as his fellow classmates. He was expelled from Bridgeport High School in 2111 after getting into a fight and nearly beating a kid unconscious. Edward's mother was furious, heartbroken. She wanted him to attend boarding school in Idaho or Utah. However, Mr. Macchione stepped in like he always did, attempting to console her emotions. It was decided that Edward, then 16, would come and work for the family business.

From then on, the organization groomed him into becoming a professional criminal. Theft, cooking the books, and arson were some of the early favorites. He and his hoodlum friends once set fire to a liquor store after hours, which eventually exploded. By the time Edward entered his early twenties, the Donatellos didn't have him doing much grunt work. They set him up with a backroom bookie, having him test the waters. He excelled at this, turning a nice profit for the racket. At this point Edward was well on his way in the criminal underworld.

Edward "made his bones" in 2118 when he carried out a kill order on a rival gang member. For the first time in his life, he hesitated. His hand shook as he failed to pull the trigger. The man took this opportunity to swat the gun away. They danced for awhile before Edward found himself in a chokehold. The victim (now the predator) reached for a knife and attempted to slit his throat. Edward struggled to keep the blade back, and it began to pierce his throat. His eyes darted down toward a nearby table lamp. He picked it up and smashed the heavy object against the assailant's head. While the man stumbled back, Edward grabbed the gun again. This time he didn't hesitate; he put a good six rounds into his body. He had just killed his first mark. He was 24.
He is one of Las Vegas' greatest underground card players and has the statistical mind for the game.

He has a habit of shuffling playing cards and keeps two decks on his person most times.

Edward commits himself as a womanizer, hitting on anything with two legs and somehow doing all of this very subtly.

He often chews tooth picks like those old 1950's and '60s greasers and wears pinstripe suits. This may be considered a quirk, but it's actually come back into style to some extent.

The smell of raw meat makes him uncomfortable. He gets angry when he sees pink in his steaks, hamburgers, and other cooked beef, telling the chef to "Cook it till it's burnt, and then cook it another ten minutes".

He carries two pistols. One is of New Federation make and produced by the Bratva known as the Strelnikov RS-12. It has the look of a M1911 but is sleeker and is produced with stronger, yet lighter alloys. With a 20-round magazine, the RS-12 provides excellent stopping power and minimal recoil.

His second sidearm is a relic from the 20th century: a Colt .38 Detective Special, which is painted all black. He keeps it in a holster on his right ankle.

PERSONALITY:

There is a reason why Natalia sent almost all of the humans out of her territory, and to the Business District. She absolutely despises people, finding almost all of them worthless and unable to do a single productive thing. The few humans still around are those that she’s come to find if even the slightest bit of dependability. Otherwise, she’s built her own civilization almost of androids. She actually prefers the machines over the living breathing kind. Some say they she herself is becoming more machine than human--which Natalia would probably take as a compliment. Putting all of that aside, Natalia has a quick witted tongue and an inner rage that could burn metal. Even the smallest of incidents could throw her off and send her into a fury. Be very careful how and when you talk to her--but not just because of her anger. She is also a very prudent planner. One of her strongest suits (aside from her brilliance) is her long lists of plans and procedures. She may sit quietly among the other petals, but she’s been observing and planning for every different outcome she could think of. Oh, and just because she’s a good business-woman, doesn’t mean she won’t fight dirty. She has life goals, and she will do anything--even crushing the weaker ones--to get where she needs.

MENTAL HEALTH:

Although Natalia is a genius, her high intelligence goes hand in hand with a severe instability mentally. Throughout her lifetime so far, she has teetered between light and darkness, sanity and insanity. Lately, however, she has been tipping into her own inner darkness. Even so, morality aside, she has moments of mental breakdowns--usually when she’s been overworked or a plan goes severely wrong--and sometimes if someone pries too far into her. These fits usually consist of her either going into a rage, or just comatose. To fix it, she will usually lock herself in a lab and work until her hands bleed or someone stops her. Not to say she is depressed, but she definitely has a darker look on the world. To her, she is simply waiting for her end. In the meantime, she’s striving to do the one thing she’s been dreaming of since she was a little girl...
Natalia’s history before meeting Edgar Matsuo is much of a mystery. Whatever record of it has been erased and she never speaks of it. Only a handful of people know about her childhood and where she came from. All that’s left of it is her english accent and few british tendencies.

Where her story does start, well what’s known anyways, was when she first arrived into the Deadlands. She’d become a squatter until she learned how to fake her identity and took the face of an entirely different girl to get herself into one of the schools funded by the Matsuo’s. At the time, she knew very little of anything other than how to survive. With no money, no home, she was pretty much just looking for a leg up and a new start. Which she did find. At the school was Edgar Matsuo, who often chose to teach at different locations. His idea was that the future was in the hands of the young. Natalia was fiery and had an opposition to authority. Edgar had learned this the hard way after getting into an all out blow-out fight with her. He was pretty much more machine than man, and could easily overpower her, but Natalia refused to give up, but instead almost killed herself in the process. After that moment, Edgar took her under his wing seeing that, in his opinion, she needed a parental figure. At the point, Edgar had already discovered she was a no one and had nothing. Although Natalia was not fond of the idea... well, she didn’t really have a choice.

It took time, but eventually Natalia came around. She found one person in Lotus that she could call hers. She took to him closely, learning everything he could teach. Edgar soon discovered Natalia’s sponge like mind and hidden genius. The years following consisted of him training that and preparing her to be the perfect heir to the Matsuo Cybernetics leadership. And when it came to the point that Natalia’s creations and ideas were better than his, he put everything in place. Not too long after that, Edgar mysteriously disappeared. Most believe he died. Natalia was made the new CEO when it was confirmed that the last Matsuo was no longer capable, and given she was in his will as the next leader.

Natalia ruled with an iron fist. Anything she wanted done got done. Any sort of competition was left to the wayside. Matsuo company flourished, becoming the leading technology in all of Lotus. After finding it would be beneficial, Natalia also approached Shinozuka industries for a potential alliance. After some dealings and haggling, it was set. This was probably one of the very few times Natalia actually showed face outside of her petal. As time passed, Natalia would simply bide her time, sending the majority of her population to the business district and depending more on her androids and cybernetic companions. Although, with rumors going afloat and activity starting to rise, she’s just now starting to make her own presence known. Albeit, subtly.
FAQs

These are just a few random facts about Natalia.
- Loves clover tea, pastries(elephant ears), and anything in a sandwich
- Is a chainsmoker, unless she is in a lab.
- When she had the power and ability to do so, she gathered all of the red pandas in Lotus. There is a mini-zoo in her only settlement just for them.
- She rarely sleeps, and sometimes stays up for days.
- She tests almost all of her cybernetics on herself firstly, before human trials--but only if they are iffy when testing on the living.
- The southernmost base was literally made for Netty to show off to Regen Corp., knowing full well that they want what she has.
RUMORS

None have been proven as fact or fiction, these are simple a few things said about Natalia throughout Lotus.
- Some think that there are no humans at all in Deadlands, and that Natalia is in fact an android herself.
- No one knows how, but there is word around that she is related to Ryuunosuke somehow.
- It’s also said that She is not related to anyone of interest, but comes from the Mother & Father in The Waterfront.
COMPANIONS

There are very few people Natalia keep close and actually trust--if even just a little.
- CHEIRA, Cybernetic Humanoid Emotional Intelligence Research Assistant. Natalia’s first successful AI creation.
- KAIDA, Kick*ss Artificial Intelligence Defense Assistant. The second creation made by Natalia.
- Gabriel Baraniq, probably the only living being in all of Lotus that Natalia completely trusts. The two had met after Gabe wandered into Deadlands.
- Ryuunosuke Shinozuka, CEO of Shinozuka Industries and Leader of the 4th Petal. Although Natalia keeps him at an arm’s length, She’s deemed him as a useful acquaintance and does a lot of different dealing with him. She also has a nickname for him: Onii-San--which is probably where some of the rumors come from that they are related...
CYBERNETICS

Here is some more explanation on the cybernetic enhancements she’s given herself.
- Eyes - After a fight with Edgar, well

  Natalia’s eyes were severely injured to the point that she was blinded. Edgar had replaced them with Cybernetic eyes, which happen to be her first enhancement. The irises are purple in color, and give her the ability to see normally, but also with technical guidance. They help her with diagrams and measurements when it comes to her work. She can also do scans of mechanical objects to look for damage, weaknesses and strengths. She disabled the ability to do the same to humans.
- Right Arm - Her first ever cybernetic enhancement creation was an arm. However, she does not like the idea of human testing without knowing it will work, so she had her own arm seared off from the shoulder and replaced it with the cybernetic arm. It is not weaponized, but holds a panel along her forearm. It allows her to open up a holographic display of her company interface, as well as personal use. It can also act as her cell phone if she needs it to.
- Spinal Cord and Rib Base - Another creation that she tested on herself prior to letting it go into production. With help from CHEIRA, she had a new spine installed, complete with the base of the rib structure. This allows her to move more fluidly, as well as support with other enhancements, the neck and brain. She is in completely control of her body with this enhancement.
- Back of the Neck - A personal preference she added. A small panel opens on the back of her neck with two jacks. One allows a chip (something similar to a USB drive) to be inserted and read, and then an extending wire that allows her to jack into other devices. This works hand in hand with the enhancements in her brain.
- Inner Cranium/Brain - This is basically a mini computer system installed to work directly with regular brain functions. She can store memories, communicate through synced communication devices, work directly with her company interface, and if she is connected to a foreign system, she can mentally hack into it--given that she can get through security of whatever she is logged into.
- Shins - Being that Natalia’s only real fighting style is with her legs, she did a few upgrades to help with that. Her shins are reinforced to handle more heavy hits, but are so lightweight that she can move just as quickly, if not more light footed.
- Feet - Along with her shins, Natalia had her feet replaced. While also being reinforced, they also have speed boosters.

Besides the obvious trauma that would come from being kidnapped from one’s homeland and put into degrading and otherwise dehumanizing situations, Taeng is relatively stable. She holds onto old superstitions from her homeland (including believing that spirits live in soldier’s weapons and one’s spirit could be sucked out of someone by touching the top of their head) and may participate in some traditions that may otherwise seem bizarre to the average person. She has created a defense mechanism where emotions are turned off and replaced with anger and aggression. She has also developed an odd obsession with defined male torsos and women’s physique.

Just like the ghost peppers she loves to eat, this woman has a hot and spicy personality. Her time within the human trafficking ring has surprisingly not broken her spirit. She is feisty and defiant to those who seem to try and show a dominance over her in any way. Anyone that claims to have more authority, she will look at in disdain and challenge them. She is stubborn and critical, calloused to other’s feelings unless the situation is attached to her own sentiment. She tends to not trust others, but acts as if her life is an open book. In reality, it is. She has learned over time that biting her tongue results in less scars, but more anger. She is a natural free spirit that stirs and becomes restless when contained. The woman is incredibly creative, and that’s probably why she’s stayed alive and relatively unharmed for so long.
Even though the world has been closed off from Lotus, Mother & Father still found ways to smuggle things in without alerting the other Petals. Exotic children were no exception to their trade. There were still many people within Lotus that would pay a pretty penny to have a beautiful little cup holder or bed warmer. Bangkok had always been a place hit with child abductions, and young Taeng was no different. One day she was running in the busy streets, laughing with the other ten year old kids, and the next day she found herself huddled with four other girls her age, crying and trembling as they looked out of the frosted windows of a van. With no way to contact help, they were at their captor’s bidding.

Taeng, being a strong-willed girl and never breaking spirit, fought as much as she could, but it only resulted in making the girls around her disappear. She didn’t know how long the trip from Thailand to Lotus took, but it seemed too long. There were far too many people grabbing at her, picking and plucking, analyzing and speaking in tongues as they marked her up for what she could be. “Orphanage”, “Mother” and “Father” were brought up in conversation too many times. Who were Mother and Father? Why did these people claim they were saving her? She was being tormented. She was taken away from her mother and father. Her home. Everything she knew. How was this saving?

She was placed in an orphanage and put on display. The fire that remained in her dark eyes seemed to attract many, but every time, she fought them off, turning them away. It didn’t matter how many times they hit her, yelled at her, threatened her life. She continued to come out on top, despite her situation. She was never branded with the mark of a pleasure object, nor with a servant. She was shelved, waiting for the right price to come and pick her up. And she remained this way for several years.

Around age twenty, again she heard talk about “Mother” and “Father” grow. But this time, “son” became frequent in conversation. Hearing about the White Elephant of the orphanage, it was decided that Taeng would become a gift. She never got to say goodbye or give hopeful words to the people whom she had come to call her brothers and sisters before she was locked up and taken to a secluded home. She met Yoseph, “Mother” and “Father’s” most loyal “son.” With that, her life of paranoia became a closed book and a new book was opened.

Two years have passed since she was gifted to Yoseph, and in this time she has become an assistant to him. From time to time (maybe more times than not), she shows reluctance, defiance, and straight up attitude, but overall someone that has learned a broader sense of worth and responsibility.
Taeng has an unhealthy (maybe unhealthy) obsession with a person’s physique. Usually it is triggered by a nicely sculpted torso and womanly curves. Prepare for non-discrete staring from her end if she spots something she likes. Also, do not be alarmed if she asks to inspect.

Though imported foods are rare, she has an addiction to incredibly spicy peppers. She has to have at least chili pepper flakes in whatever she eats. She tends to carry a small case of ghost peppers with her to challenge people.

Taeng has a fear of people touching the top of her head. She thinks that her soul will get sucked out of her body. She also hates people touching her feet, which is also linked to a superstition.

She is still learning what the term “professional setting” is.

CYBERNETICS:

-Bionic Eye Implants: There’s a good reason why Viktor’s irises are yellow, his eyes are cybernetic. They’re nothing fancy like what you might find in the more tech savvy districts, but he did get them as a reward for helping a Raske Monarchy diplomat travel through the Badlands to Fort Pleasant. They allow him some degree of telescopic vision, and the ability to see in low light conditions with a night vision mode.

-Left Arm Cybernetic Prosthetic: His entire left arm has been replaced with a cybernetic prosthetic offering basic movement functions and housing a concealed shotgun within the forearm. The weapon itself can only hold four shells, and serves as a last ditch defensive measure. MENTAL HEALTH

Some might say Vik has been out too long under the scorching Badlands sun, or that the chaotic culture of his district has snapped something within his mind. Both are probably true to some degree. In order to live and thrive in a lawless land one requires a different thought process from what the other districts might consider normal. Whether the man is truly damaged or not is a matter of opinion. He has adapted to his environment, and has learned to make the best of things. The frequent (and sometimes excessive) exposure to things such as violence and strife has made Viktor’s mind quite resilient to such things. While some ‘civilized’ folks from other districts might baulk at someone randomly getting stabbed, Vik wouldn’t give the scene a second glance. If Viktor is one thing though, he's a survivor.

PERSONALITY

He’s as unruly and untamed as the Badlands he calls home. Often it’s assumed he has a chip on his shoulder given his boisterous, albeit cheerful bravado, but that’s hardly the case. Vik doesn’t feel like he has to prove anything to anybody. He’s survived the Badlands, and other hazards in the bordering districts on more than one occasion. Call it arrogance or confidence the man has an undeniable swagger to his step, and he feels that he’s earned it. Like anyone else though there are multiple facets to his personality. As rowdy as he is Viktor is pretty big on camaraderie, because even in the Badlands good friends are worth their weight in gold. He may not be a gentle giant, but he sure can be a friendly rascal at times. Whenever there’s an extended lack of excitement he can get fairly lazy, though.
A born and raised native to the subterranean city of Irkalla, Viktor Isayev is no stranger to trouble. While children from other districts might spend their time at school, his lessons as a youth were learned on the streets. In this lawless land there was only one rule: let anarchy reign. It was easy enough to figure out growing up, but the real trick was not dying in a back alley or in a ditch somewhere. Viktor learned to be quick, cunning, and brutal to help contribute to his family’s (and therefore his own) survival. Tough love and very real dangers helped to mold him into a natural survivor; although, a side effect of this was his pragmatic skepticism of the city’s cult. Religion and worship was a strange phenomenon to him after having gotten used to the chaotic freedom. Fate and faith was not something that put food on the table, and thus he found no interest in these things. However, he learned to keep his mouth shut and benefit from the cult in a few ways.

Surface raids were always avenues for amusement and resources, and were best done in groups for safety. They would attack people traveling through the Badlands, or other bordering districts. The Raske Monarchy was always a favorite target due to their abundant supply of fresh water. Viktor spent just over a decade with the Erishkegal’s militia, and ended up visiting all of the surrounding districts to some extent because of it. Surprisingly he even made some connections with several outsiders after some curious circumstances. Traveling around so much instilled a strong wanderlust within him, though. The world had so much more to offer him than the cutthroat streets of Irkalla, and he wanted a piece of that action without owing anyone anything. He was twenty-six when he walked away from Irkalla. Within a year he had gathered a handful of like-minded people, some he had met before, and others he had met on the road. They lived for themselves and paid allegiance to no one.

After a drunken joke one night they officially became the ‘Magic Eight Ball Crew,’ and adopted the billiards eight ball as their official symbol. They used the badlands of the 8th Petal as a central location to travel between the surrounding five districts, there were eight of them, and on that solemn night they had found an intact magic eight ball. When they asked it if they should take it up as their namesake the mystical device read: ‘All signs point to yes,’ and so it stuck. Ever since then Viktor has stayed with the small gang, and been raising hell across the country ever since.
QUIRKS

-Asking how he got his nickname will result in a first hand demonstration as it’s a stupid question.

-He's illiterate for the most part; he can definitely read profanity because he's seen it so much in the Badlands. Because of this he navigates by landmarks, and has gotten good at path-finding due to his lack of reliance on specific directions. Also, thank Jesus, Buddha, or whoever is left in heaven that dirty mags aren't meant to be read.

-He has a hoarding problem birthed from the uncertain nature of living in the Badlands. Don't know when something might come in handy. As such he has a hard time leaving useful gear behind, even if it's ammunition he doesn't have the guns for.

-Can sleep with his eyes open. Makes him a half-decent watchmen because even if he falls asleep on the job it looks like he's still vigilant.

-Keeps a small glass vial full of dirt from his underground home settlement. Is working on a collection spanning all eight districts.

-Materialistic in a practical sense. He would rather be paid in practical gear and tangible resources rather than be left holding onto wads of paper currency. He's not the best with spending or saving money wisely at any rate, either.

-Keeps a magic 8 ball on hand, and often consults it humorously. If you break it he will refuse to be held responsible for any bodily harm that might unfortunately befall you in your immediate future.

LIKES:

-Adventures! Fuck yeah!

-Booze. Fancy or not it all goes down the same.

-Exploring the differences in other districts.

-Driving vehicles; although, it’s best to let someone else take the wheel in populated areas.

-Lootin-... er, scavenging from other districts.

-People looking down on him because he's from the Badlands.

-Smooth talking, wordy fellas. He knows a snake when he sees one.

-Unnecessarily complicated customs from other sophisticated districts.

-Earthquakes were a real danger living underground, and he still harbors an uneasy fear of them.

ASPIRATIONS:

-Would love to see the land and districts from the sky, given his childhood of having lived underground.

-Traveling to every district, and then eventually to other countries.

WEAPONS AND STUFF:

-Armor: Viktor uses typical mass produced body armor acquired from other military sources, coupled with a ballistic mask. It’s all resistant to small arms fire, but any dedicated anti-armor ammunition will give him a really bad day.

-Light Machine Gun: A custom amalgamation of Badlands style creativity and ingenuity, the weapon fires standard assault rifle rounds in either three round bursts or full automatic modes. It may look ramshackle in appearance, but Viktor dutifully maintains it with parts scavenged off of other guns. He doesn’t use larger bullets because it’s easier to find more ammunition this way. Being a machine gun it has a relatively low effective range unless he’s firing bursts.

-Pistol: Another bastardization of technology spawned from a bored mind, and a strong dislike of reloading. The handgun only fires on semi automatic despite its fifty round dual drum magazine, and Viktor uses this weapon either as a precision tool at medium range or spamming small caliber bullets at close range.

WINGMAN AND BFF:

-Mobius: Earlier last year Viktor took in a flying squirrel with cybernetic enhancements after liberating the poor creature from a lab in the Business District. Originally he was there to rob and ransack the place, but Vik can multitask! The two have become inseparable since, and Viktor sees the clever animal as more of a friend than a pet.

Mental Health

Blake Bancroft might as well be one of those undercover geniuses. His mental capacity goes beyond his years and often times this thoughts are much greater than he could express. The man finds himself constantly questioning the world and how it works-- which could be really annoying when you're trying to get something done. In order to stifle his ever-working mind, Blake has resorted to taking a drug known as Honey Dust-- a powdery substance that has a sweet scent and taste, as well as a golden brown color like honey. It is a hallucinogenic but also (in small doses) helps calm the mind. Blake will use it often and it has become a horrible addiction. Without it, he goes through severe mood swings and symptoms of withdrawal. With it, be calm, even considerably focused. Though, he does tend to blurt out things that may make no sense at all.

Personality

Blake overall seems to be that nice person that you could easily forget in a crowd. He isn't very loud nor does he try to bring attention to himself. He is perfectly fine sitting in the back of the room where people would completely ignore him. Of course... that is until he starts to ask questions. Blake is incredibly curious about everything in every aspect to the point he will literally stop working in order to ask and ponder. The use of not-so-safe drugs has kept him in focus, however he still has moments where he must stop to think. Conversations never really seem to go anywhere with him unless you look for the hidden meaning. Most of the time people don't have the mind or patience to deal with it and brush it off as crazy speak or random chatter.[/b]

Many say she is normal. Others say she's to kind. Life in farmland, away from the troubles of the real world have led Adriana into a delusion of safety and peace- An otherwise unrealistic state of thought in the world AND petal she lives in. Many people take advantage of her kind and hospitable nature and she is left unfazed- Believing to not let others see your emotions in fear of hurting them. Has shown many signs of psycho-manic depression and flinches at the slighest sight of violence- May indicate past signs of abuse. PERSONALITY:

She's as sunny and bright as her home is. Always with a smile on her face, anywhere she goes she lights up the room with her boisterous smile and magnetic charm. Many people think her oblivious or unattached to any other emotion than happiness, due to the fact she's so blunt with everyone she meets- But that could not be farther from the truth. She honestly believes the truth is the only way, no matter what the situation or regardless of the subjects emotion. She is very easily tricked, her naivety and her trust in others always getting the best of her, leading her to bad situations in quick ways. Hides her negative emotions to spare anyone of her burdens- Leading to breakdowns at random, infrequent times.
'Never judge a book by it's cover', a common phrase Adrienne says, and with good reason. Adrienne's life seemed so simple and happy from an outsider's look, but in reality was a very grim and dark situation.

Not much is known about her life other than the aspects of what she reveals to others. She was born 12 weeks to early, at 1.36 kg and with a heart murmur. She was born to a small town farmer and a wealthy business man, leaving their family in great wealth. She was never allowed to leave Markem, and that's the most you'll get from her in a long run, but when she tells you, it's a different story.

Born to Alison Mareen and Draco Vikkete, Adrienne's life was restricted from the time when she was brought home. Her mother wanted her to breathe, live, flourish like the human being she was, but her father didn't. He thought she was too fragile- Too precious to be broken by humanity. So, he put rules. 'Never leave, never talk, never touch' he would say, and punish when she wouldn't listen. Even when her mother tried to fluctuate the rules, he would enforce them, punishing her for her disobedience. So, Adrienne was left with one option: Live life in isolation.

She hated it. Everyday the same thing. Wake up, eat, watch T.V, start home school, finish, eat dinner, brush teeth and then go to bed. It was an endless routine of monotony, and she was miserable.

Then started the fighting, every night the drunken screams of her father and the terrified/enraged shouting of her mother echoed throughout the house. But every day in the morning, her mother-With a black and blue face- would always smile the same happy, loving grin, even though the pain and frustration was clear in her eyes.

At age 10, things had gone from terrible to just plain hell. Sure, she was allowed to leave and make friends, and occasionally venture into Markem, but it was all just for show. The screams of the night had gotten worse. No longer did her parent's try to hide their screams and shouting through closed doors- It was everywhere. Her mother didn't have the fire in her eyes that she once admired- What was left was extinguished coals and a hollow shell of frustration and hatred.

When she tried to leave one night- With everything she could pack in her little wornout 'Hello Kitty' backpack, her father caught her. And then... Then he...

She never continues with that.

Now, every day in the same small town, the same house, the same 'loving' parents, she stands there with a smile on her face- Hiding the misery building inside of her, and dreaming of the day when she can adventure beyond the imaginary walls containing her inside of her prison cell. And until then, she'll content to her life. She'll stick with misery, if it meant that she could leave one day.

Even if it kills her.

MENTAL HEALTH

It goes without saying that someone as important as a Prime Minister should be in charge of all their faculties. Sonya’s mental stability has been tempered by many long years of experience, and she has seen quite a bit of hardships, on her part and on the behalf of others, from being a member of the Russian Bratva. This isn’t to say she is without breaking points, but she has learned to conceal and restrain her anger unless a demonstration of such emotions would benefit her position. On the rare occasion she does see red and is unable to pull herself in, well, people call her Mother Bear for a reason, suffice to say. Her temper is something akin to a superstitious legend in that regard in the Second District as she has the patience to wait to resolve her business out of sight and out of mind.

PERSONALITY

She is a woman of the people through and through. She certainly knows what it’s like to come from nothing too, so she is very empathetic towards the social middle and lower classes. The well being of the people living in the Second District is constantly at the forefront of her thoughts, and anyone threatening that goal will quickly make an enemy of her. Speaking of her ire Sonya is usually very good at keeping it in check; although, she will be very clear about warnings to anyone or anything antagonizing her thoughts. As a diplomat she knows that misunderstandings can be very costly so communication is very important to her. If you are beginning to tread a thin line with her she will politely, yet firmly, let you know. As a public figurehead she will not bow down to attempts to bully her, but she is not unreasonable. In fact Sonya is more than happy to settle issues peacefully if possible, and is very open minded if approached in a friendly, honest manner.

She is still a human being of course, and does enjoy the usual socializing faire. Sonya carries herself as an amiable, optimistic woman in and out of the office. Due to her job she’s quite extroverted, and loves meeting new people even from other districts. She’s also very adaptable and perceptive, traits she readily applies to new situations to help make the most of them. As a firm believer in hard work she tries to lead by example, and will never ask anyone to do something she wouldn’t do.
Sonya’s parents were factory workers in the New Federation of Soviet Amerika, and were resilient as the metal they worked day in and day out. They cared for their daughter well, and while they were never wealthy they cherished their riches in the form of their family. However, when she was six years old a catastrophe in the facility Sonya’s parents worked at claimed over a dozen lives, with her folks being included in the tally. She was horrified and thrown into a fit of grievance while being shuffled off into an orphanage. Over the course of five years she slowly came out of her shell, but she never did forget the stinging emptiness in her chest.

Sonya did her best to try to get adopted not wanting to spend her life at the orphanage, and she started helping out with small chores to help build up her own skills. Most of the time she helped clean the building and look after the younger orphans, but she also helped in the kitchen making pork filled buns as a cheap snacks for everyone. She found inner strength in being independent and satisfaction in caring for others, and little did she know these traits would turn into cornerstones for her personality in the long run. When she was eleven she was off making a delivery of meat buns to a local carpenter who had helped patch up the orphanage, and that’s when she met Vasiliy Moskvin. Halfway through her route it had started to rain, and the man had offered to share his umbrella while they waited for a traffic light to change. The act of kindness had always stuck with Sonya, especially after learning about his social stature later on.

She still claims to remember seeing a car about to drive by that day on the street. Its black paint and tinted windows might not have been a new sight, but curiously she watched as its rear window had been rolled down as it neared her and the charitable stranger at her side. Then something metallic and thin poked out from the darkness inside the vehicle, and panic gripped her. Street violence was never anything foreign to the NFSA, and she knew well enough what was about to happen. She shouted to the man beside her and pointed at the car, but her own legs were frozen by the sheer shock of it all. Her eyes closed as she heard gunfire and screeching wheels as the car suddenly sped by. She didn’t even realize she was on the ground until she opened her eyes again at her savior’s soft encouragement.

The man who had shared his umbrella with her had grabbed Sonya and pulled them both to the ground protectively, and just in time thanks to her warning. Amazingly neither of them were hurt, but she clung to the stranger for a while after the danger had passed. The man helped ground her to reality by introducing himself, and kept her talking about things to take her mind away from the harrowing event. Vasiliy walked her back to the orphanage, and came back for her later in the week with adoption papers filled out.

After being adopted by Vasiliy Moskvin, Sonya was glad to have some kind of semblance of family back in her life, and she discovered a renewed vigor for living. The fire inside of her burned even brighter when she learned he was a major politician in the NFSA, and she ended up taking a keen interest in politics shortly after. Vasiliy preached about the importance of never forgetting that it is the people who make the country great, not the other way around. To achieve that end he was adamant in always making sure that the common people’s needs were being attended to. As she grew up Sonya ended up following in Vasiliy’s footsteps, and even took upon his name as her patriarchal name in respect of the man.

She’s done rather well with her career, and has grown a reputation for being genuinely caring for the people she represents. She’s even worked her way into the Russian Bratva as a political advisor. She works hard to help build the New Federation of Soviet Amerika into a district worth being proud of, and doesn’t consider herself above the average citizen. She’s even helped out in a few of the metalworking factories when she’s had time to spare, and is always sure to bring homemade meat buns on such excursions for the workers. In her office and home Sonya maintains photo albums of these events, helping her to preserve her memories and her ideals. She firmly believes that together, the people of the Second Petal can achieve truly great things, and tries to incorporate this belief into her daily life.
QUIRKS

-She wears contact lenses that give off the impression that her irises can change colors. They act sort of like how a mood ring would, giving off different colors in reaction to her emotions.

-The lenses in her glasses house a HUD she can interact with by blinking. She mostly uses this for work related purposes.

-Water, tea, or vodka. There are no other drinks she will consume.

-She’s not afraid to get dirty, either in justice or cleanliness. Sometimes results require direct attention, after all.

-She’s with the Bratva even if she’s the Prime Minister. Don’t think she doesn’t know how to handle a gun or is ignorant of the basics of hand-to-hand fighting.

LIKES

-Providing for the needy, especially children.

-Collaboration on all Petals on maintaining the peace in Lotus.

-Pork filled buns. It’s simplistic, but they also remind her of her roots and how far she’s come. She sometimes makes them as care packages or thank you parcels if she has the time.

-Regular exercise. Not everyone has cyber enhancements, y’know.

DISLIKES

-Violence for the sake of violence.

-People forcing her hand to enact violence. She absolutely loathes being backed into a corner like that, but she will not hesitate, either.

-Slackers and half-assing will earn you an immediate spot on her blacklist.

-American patriotic naivety in the belief that it is the country that makes its people great, and not the other way around. It stopped being cute after the Cold War ended, now it’s just a bad joke that won’t die.

-The Russian Bratva’s new hot headed leader. However, as she will tell anyone discreetly: “Hate the sin, not the sinner.”

FEARS

-The wrong people come into power in the NFSA. A communist state is all too easy to fall prey to corruption from within.

-Worries she may one day stray from her path, and act too rashly despite her good intentions.

-The Russian Bratva will get too arrogant and start a war with another Petal.

-She’s accepted that her job will probably be the death of her, but that doesn’t mean she’s not afraid of such an untimely end. She can only hope her eventual death will be useful, and inspire NFSA’s people to stand up against the crookedness of the world, and within their own government.

ASPIRATIONS

-Would love to live in a world where all the strife is at an end, but realizes that’s a rather lofty goal. She will settle for peace in her own District for now.

-Often muses about retiring from politics to head an orphanage in NFSA. She’s not looking to compete with the 7th Petal, but she does not trust outsiders with the caretaking of her District’s children.

WEAPONS

-Double Barrel Revolver: As a diplomat she does make an effort to show she’s a generally peaceful woman. However, when push comes to shove she’s not afraid of trading bullets if she deems it necessary. She carries a custom made double barrel revolver to show any troublemakers what for. The barrels are stacked vertically, and the cylinder houses four bullets. There’s a firing selector that allows for either single or double shot firing modes depending on her current needs. Since she isn’t a soldier or a mercenary she only uses .357 magnum rounds which are optimal for self defense, versus the more powerful .44 magnum caliber rounds. She also carries a couple speed loaders to assist her in any particularly dangerous situations. Sonya favors hollow-point bullets as well to maximize damage to soft targets.

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Second Skin : Vanessa is almost always wearing her skin suit beneath anything she wears, especially if she is doing business outside of the district. It was originally designed to address her congenital analgesia. Sensors along the suit and beneath the skin alert Vanessa of cuts, monitor her blood loss, and relay information regarding the degree and severity of physical trauma done to her. All of this to keep her from unintentionally or intentionally killing herself. The skin suit has since been modified to act as her security pass in place of pass-codes, eye scans, and print scans.

Modular Hands: Vanessa voluntarily had both of her hands removed so that she could work more efficiently. She owns several aesthetic options that she connects to her wrists depending on her mood, but he is most often seen wearing her signature tiger claws.

Cavum Oris 3.0 : The apparatus covers the lower half of her face and partially covers her ears. It functions as a voice changer, translator, a rebreather, and is wirelessly connected to REGEN Corp. CO3 allows its wearer a great deal of control via voice commands. There are times when Vanessa will "mute" herself to the outside world in order to have private conversations via com-link or hide voice commands/information she's giving to the security systems. In addition, anything spoken into it will be translated for non-English speakers or for people with strong regional dialects/colloquialisms. Not many people know what Vanessa naturally sounds like as she is
never seen in public without her mask.

THE CONSCIOUS PERSONALITY

Vanessa's personality is calm, calculating, respectful, and very poker-faced. She generally has excellent control over her emotions, but she sometimes looses her cool when her intellect and preparedness are being seriously challenged. She's never truly idle. Her mind never stops thinking-ideas are always churning. Pulling her awareness out of her head and into the present moment can be difficult when she's preoccupied; but she's not all that bad of a person if you manage to catch her when she's not busy. Casual Vanessa is relaxed, has a teasing sense of humor, and knows how to take a joke. Despite the controlled demeanor she portrays as the district lead, the way she spends her leisure time reminds others that she's still just a young woman.

THE SUBCONSCIOUS PERSONALITY

A different side of Vanessa has the potential to show whenever she feels she's being physically backed into a corner. She prides herself on being able to maneuver her way through defenses, around tricks, and out of traps. Being "caught" triggers something visceral in her-memories of her days spent in the "prison cells" or "cages" in the Freedom Block, as she sometimes refers to them. She will do anything to free herself up from the situation. Vanessa strongly mistrusts anyone claiming to be a medical worker and won't subject herself to any sort of treatment unless it's essential. From this grows a dislike of being touched. Vanessa doesn't like feeling as though she's being "handled" by anyone and can be random in the way she expresses this: tensing up, curling her nose, staring, shrugging away, swatting, threatening. She doesn't care who you are or what your customs say is rude; don't reach for her unless it's to shake her metal hand.

THE MENTAL HEALTH

Vanessa has mostly stable, but questionable mental health. She is so detached from sensation that, over time, she's become detached from what most consider the "joys" of being alive. Happiness for her lies in cracking codes, improving district fortifications, and a solid internet connection-not in alcohol, sunsets, or a lover's smile. What's particularly dangerous about her is how little she seems to regard her body. She is out-of-touch with herself as a human being with physical/emotional needs and is enraptured by the grand identity she seeks to create for herself. Vanessa has to be reminded to take meals every day. When she does eat, she prefers to take her calories in instant or liquid forms. Even her sleep schedule is optimized for what tasks she has in the day ahead. The one thing she is consistent about is working out. She's afraid of appearing weak and incapable, so she trains in boxing, martial arts, and other hand-to-hand combats. Belying all of this, though, is a superiority complex. The motivation behind all of Vanessa's success has been to make up for the fact that she feels like a lesser person given her condition. People like her aren't supposed to last long in the sixth district. People like her aren't supposed to make it to the top. Her body type combined with her inability to feel pain make her feel undesirable and less-than-feminine. Subconsciously, she's trying to prove herself to the voices in her head that she can be more than just a hazard to herself. Everything in her life so far has been about improving her value, and right now, she's feeling pretty priceless.
BIOGRAPHY

CONGENITAL ANALGESIA (CIP)—Vanessa was born with a rare neurological condition that prevents her from feeling pain. Like all children born with “defects” in the 6th District, her parents were made to choose either to have her put down or pay severe fines to keep her. Her mother paid the first year’s fine and left it up to her husband-who had family connections in the military sphere-to prove a case for Vanessa’s future. The argument was thus: perhaps a condition like hers could be beneficial to military research. Her brain might hold the key to not only blocking human pain receptors, but uncovering how to switch them off completely. The proposal wasn’t attractive at first, but support for it grew due to increased political unease regarding the Bratva and Irkalla. REGEN Corp agreed to let Vanessa live without fines on the condition that she stay in the Freedom Block, the company’s medical square.

LIFE IN THE “FREEDOM” BLOCK—Growing up with CIP was nothing short of a horror story. When Vanessa was old enough to walk and talk, she was put through a series of unethical physical tests to see ‘how far’ her CIP went. She was given cuts, shocked with tazers, and on the worst instance, her leg was crushed. There were breaks in between experiments. Vanessa would be given the appropriate medical care and attention to mend her wounds. And as soon as she was determined to be healthy again, doctors went straight to work setting up a new set of trials for her. On the outside, it would seem like Vanessa took all of this in stride. She became aware of her parents’ situation and was grateful to be given the chance to live. However, just because she couldn’t feel physical pain didn’t mean that her experiences didn’t cause her suffering. She often wondered why: why was it okay to break her bones and make her bleed? Why was it acceptable? The more she thought on the answer, the darker her outlook on life became.

One night, Vanessa cut her wrists hoping to put an end to her suffering. She was found by a fellow patient moments before slipping unconscious. The experiments on her stopped for a number of months afterwards. There were conversations about removing her from the experiment for her emotional instability, but in the end, the argument for keeping her on won out. Vanessa was given a skin suit to prevent further "accidents’ from occurring. Its technology would monitor Vanessa’s vitals and alert nurses and doctors to anything abnormal. The original suit was held together on an area on her back so that it was impossible for her to remove it. Such were the conditions Vanessa was made to live under until she turned seventeen, when her sentence at the Freedom Block would be lifted.

INTO ERROR—Vanessa was fifteen when she was approached by a member of Error. At that time, she was severely withdrawn and filled with melancholy. She stopped taking calls from her parents and would only give nonverbal responses to her physicians. The only thing that could make her smile was the computer in her room. She spent hours tinkering with it and chatting with strangers online under the username and pseudonym “HelenBack”. She taught herself the fundamentals of programming and, over time, became adept at computing languages. One day not long after her fifteenth birthday, one of the users in her chat room, “Darrk”, left a message in her inbox. It detailed information about her situation that she hadn’t shared with anyone online and invited her to a meetup at a local restaurant. Vanessa had her doubts, but her teenage heart couldn’t resist the twisted mystery of meeting someone who was so clearly interested in her.

Darrk turned out to be a smooth-talking gentleman in his early twenties. Vanessa’s teenage heart was all too willing to find comfort in both his professionalism and his calm manner of speaking. Over the course of that year, their relationship blossomed into a student-mentor dynamic. Darrk made a habit of visiting her at odd hours and odd intervals to help her improve her programming know-how. He stayed for conversation when she needed it and gave her gifts, including her first C.O. mask, to keep her spirits up. On the night of her sixteenth birthday, Darrk’s present to Vanessa was a formal invitation to Error. The group’s council was impressed by the progress she had made so much so that they were willing to take a gamble on her. They needed someone on the inside of REGEN Corp: someone knowledgeable, trustworthy, and likeable enough to win over the masses in an election. They needed someone with a story like Vanessa’s to become CEO of REGEN Corp and push the group’s agenda.

Vanessa was overwhelmed, to say the least. At just sixteen years old, she couldn’t imagine one day being in control of the district much less being responsible for conducting its business abroad. It wasn’t until Darrk began sharing details that the likelihood of it happening came within reach. Error's network within the district was vast and far-reaching. Vanessa was to use her talents to be hired on at the Corp's Technical Wing where further instructions would be given to her. Not a day would go by when she would be alone. Vanessa thought the proposal over and accepted Darrk's invitation into Error. She was given the contact information of other go-to members within the group. And while she has seen her mentor around, she has never formally met with him in person since.

BECOMING THE CEO—A representative from REGEN Corp approached her in the weeks after her birthday with an internship position at the Snowden Center. Vanessa spent two years there and was offered a full-time spot on the Software Development team when her internship was completed. She worked hard and long for the Corp, but her assignments felt like trivial busy work. Even as she was promoted up the ranks, she couldn’t help but think that there was something “else” to the center-something she wasn’t privy to. There were times when she wanted to hack into not only the building’s upper offices, but the offices of those who ran the Freedom Block. In her idleness, she became enraptured by uncovering the Corp’s truths and somehow her allies at Error caught wind of it. Vanessa was repeatedly warned not to grow antsy or complacent. Her opportunity to uncover the extent of district’s corruptions would come, and when it did, she would know it. And they were right.

One day the standing CEO of REGEN Corp, a healthy male in his mid-forties with a strong background in the Justice Department, suffered a heart attack out-of-the-blue and passed away. Naturally, his death was investigated on suspicions of foul play but the investigation turned up inconclusive. Vanessa and many others submitted applications to be his replacement, but only a few made it to the interview process. The decision was a close one. Vanessa’s competition was a decorated male in his thirties who had gone undercover in Irkalla and lived to tell the tale. Everyone thought that the Council would favor him due to his similarities to the former CEO, but their final decision was that Vanessa would take the position, finding her better-suited to the challenge of combating Matsuo Cybernetics.

That was six months ago. Vanessa hasn’t been CEO of REGEN Corp for long, but already the district is beginning to feel her impact. More district funds have been allocated towards military and cyber security projects. Wall security has also increased, enforcing stricter identification requirements for persons coming in and out of the district. There have been modifications to the annual physical training tests with the addition of mental health testing to supplement exercise work. It would seem as though Vanessa is preparing the district for something. Just exactly what, well, only she, Error, and her council know that.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ERROR:

It's regarded as an outlawed hacker group by the masses. Error’s aim is generally to
protect the Corp from collapsing. They are not anarchists, but their methods are a little more than twisted. Currently, their target group is people like Vanessa: people born into REGEN Corp at steep social and financial disadvantages. Error has fabricated messages, incidents, and videos to instill fear in the 2nd and 8th petals (the Bratva and Irkalla). They’ve done all of this with hopes of blocking the appeal these districts might have to the Corp's disenfranchised population. For example: members once disguised themselves as Irkalla natives, kidnapped an undercover Corp operative, and sent a torture video to the Justice Department's main offices. They weren't caught and Vanessa is not aware that the incident was their doing. Vanessa is not the leader of Error; she actually has no idea who that person might be. She is, however, aware that she's being kept out of the loop. She just has no way of guessing how much she doesn't know.

Dear Teresa has done such a good job in covering it up. Layers of smiles, composure and playful dramatics have made a lovely mask for the world. And yet even with her expertise the porcelain sometimes cracks, leaving the lucky ones to catch a glimpse at the damage beneath. Over a decade of conditioning has left her with both mental and emotional scars that run deeper than any knife could cut. At her best it'll be a simple slip in her demeanor; mayhaps commenting on something . At her worst, her wrath is unyielding, merciless and violently bloody. And then of course there is her borderline obsession with the color red as well as her sadomasochistic interests. For the time being though - what with her seat of power in her family - things seem to be fairly stable for the woman. Best not to disturb the she-snake's nest.

PERSONALITY

Teresa is the kind of woman that many women strive to be at some point in their life. She is stylish, classy, mannered, attractive, socially adept and has connections in more places than one can count on the fingers and toes of themselves and their best friend. She hold an air of complete and utter confidence in herself that shows in both her expressive gestures, as well as her eye-catching choices in apparel. The lady also does not seem to know the meaning of 'personal space'. All of this is harmless for the most part, if not a bit intimidating, until the woman puts on her suit. In that instance everything that seemed like the swagger of a goddess suddenly turns into the cunning allure of a demoness.

Everything from her preference of the color red to her adventurous endeavors in the romance field folds back to reveal a love affair with blood and pain. She was raised to be a professional death sentence with a pretty face, and during her time in the family business she had become just that and more. Her abilities as a Donna are nothing to shake a stick at either. She was born and bred to handle business, and by the Gods is Trip good at that. Trip lives by the old codes, and as such where some had degraded to using violence to gain respect Trip uses kindness and generosity to help strengthen communities. She knows that a happy cow is much easier to gather milk from. Nevertheless she's not so soft that she would let someone off the hook so easily. Business is still business, and one shouldn't enter into a business arrangement so lightly.

When it comes down to those around her Trip is very loyal and very protective. Since she has no living family that she associates with, those that become her own personal famiglia are treated as such instead. She appears more open to these chosen few, going so far as to dote upon them if she so much as felt the urge to. If they would refuse she would simply drop off her 'Gifts of Love' later in the day. Any transgressions against anyone she considers 'famiglia' are taken on a personal level, usually resulting in some kind of wrathful revenge of her own choosing. Woe be to those who take advantage of her 'love', especially if the end result carries the stench of betrayal. After all, betrayal within the famiglia never happens more than once for a reason.
Descended from a man deeply rooted in the Sicilian Cosa Nostra, Teresa was born to Emilio Taricani and Yayoi Kurojima. Being an only child was a pleasant time for the young girl, getting anything and everything she wanted through the money her father's 'job' brought in. Strong father, beautiful mother and beloved only child. Of course she was spoiled to hell and back! For the first few years Teresa's life was normal as she grew like a normal little girl, up until her fifth year when her mother went missing. A search was conducted but nothing came up. Suddenly the happy family was cut down to two; the father and the daughter. Despite the loss of his wife Emilio moved forward without missing a step, bringing his daughter along the best way he knew how: introducing her to the family business.

When she was seven Teresa was assigned a series of tutors to teach her the ropes. She was taught everything from manners to politics to public speaking to increase her socializing skills. At the age of ten 'special' training was tacked onto the deal, the little girl beginning the deadly art of knife throwing and opportunistic striking that she would soon come to be known for. By the time her eighteenth birthday rolled around Teresa, now affectionately called "Trip" by the famiglia, was well on her way to becoming a cute and deadly little pawn for her father to use as he saw fit. But by then Trip had started concocting her own plans for the family. In reality, she had no intentions of becoming a tool for her aging father.

On her eighteenth birthday Emilio held a huge party for his daughter. During the festivities she was pulled aside into a small room, one that every made member of the Taricani knew the function of. Offered the initiation Trip strolled though it without a hitch or hiccup, as was to be expected from the daughter of their illustrious leader. It was at the end, when one of his fellow associates introduced father to daughter as equal members of the famiglia, that the two of them excused themselves for a father-daughter picnic. Two would end up leaving the house, but by the time the sun was setting only one of them came back. It would seem the Don had been in an unfortunate accident; caught in the crossfire of two smaller families as they feuded. Well, that's what the obituary would end up reading anyways. The members of the Taricani knew in their guts that this wasn't the truth.

With the death of their Don the Taricani population was in an uproar. Many members backed out and dropped left and right, refusing to take the one that had offed their Boss as their new leader. The others had been individuals Trip had earned the trust and respect of right out from underneath her father. With her numbers significantly cut Trip set about initiating her plan to bring the family back up to its former glory, and then up and beyond even that. Now, ten years after claiming the title of Donna, Trip has done just that. Where her father had sat happily in his seat of power Trip had climbed above. Not only were they now one of the most powerful families in Arido Piatoo, but the Taricani had a successful chain of Italian restaurants and cafes as well as the favor of the majority of citizens within their territory. With such a strong base beneath them, it's no surprise that rumors have begun circulating of them possibly challenging for the head family position.

MENTAL HEALTH

It doesn't take a genius to tell that Andy's got a few screws loose. Sure she had been a little jumpy before it all, but once she got hooked on Honey Dust it just took off. She's quite convinced that "someone" is watching her, going so far as to check vents, in cabinets and under hats for cameras or listening devices. Rooms with less than three escape routes are a no-no. She also tends to blame certain occurrences on aliens and isn't above wearing a tinfoil hat shamelessly. If other folks want their minds read that's fine by her, but they ain't getting Andrea Marjorie English! On top of it all - thanks to her experiences at Waterfront - she has a hard time trusting folks and an even harder time committing to anyone or anything. Except herself. She's pretty damn important in her opinion.

PERSONALITY

Andy is very much more a talker than she is a fighter. Within the eyes of the public she is known as a very cool, mannered and intelligent individual. She speaks with an air of complete and utter confidence that many people respond positively to; enough to make the unprepared a bit loose in the lips. Her etiquette and charisma are only overshadowed by her business savvy, which is quite impressive for a woman her age and from her rough background. When her game is in full swing it's a damn force to be reckoned with. When out of the eye of the public Andy can be described as conceited, indulgent and quite lazy for most of the time, relying on others to do things for her when she deems them 'too simple for her grand self to handle'. She would choose to spend her time doing nothing more than preening, snacking, watching television and losing herself to a high if left alone.
Once upon a time Nathaniel English was an up and coming firearms engineer within the NFSA. Having been raised in a similar atmosphere - as his father was also an arms engineer - he showed some skill for the trade at a young age and simply flowed into work from there. His ideas for this-and-that helped him climb through the factory until he was chosen to travel for a business meeting. Through a series of unfortunate events the caravan ended up traveling through the Badlands, where unsurprisingly they were hit by an Irkalla ambush. In the end many of his companions went down. When it came to his turn the man who had a gun pointed at him was in the leg from behind, and a wily looking woman walked forward.

"This one! He has nice hair! He's mine~"

And as such Nathaniel English was brought into the cultist culture of Irkalla.

For years Nathaniel did what he had to in order to survive. Unlike the equal grounds of his home, one had to bite, claw, scratch and punch to get what you wanted here. On top of that he had to appease this Odetta Tracy whom had become his "wife". Using his knowledge he was able to dig out a niche for himself as a firearms expert, fixing up guns for his wife's raid companions as well as her companion's companions. And of course he was dragged out onto said raids from time to time as well; especially when Odetta became pregnant with their child. As such Andrea Marjorie English was brought into this world, but at the expense of her mother's life. In a way he was sad to see the woman he had been made to call his wife pass, yet there was not a more golden opportunity for him to leave than this. He gathered up what supplies he could, waiting only long enough for the population to migrate closer to a border before making his escape.

Making it to Waterfront, Nathaniel pawned off what goods he had been able to snatch and got himself and his daughter a place to stay. Upon contacting his family they were over the moon with joy at him being alive, but the same could not be said about news of Andrea. He was encouraged to leave her in the care of one of the orphanages and come home. Nathaniel was appalled and refused, instead forging ahead with making a home for the two of them where they were. It was much harsher and less forgiving than the ways he had grown up with, but if there was one thing he had learned from his time with Irkalla it was adapting. By the time Andrea was seven he had ownership of a small firearms shop where he sold his own customized guns.

For the first few years little Andy watched from behind the counter as her father did business. She observed the types of people that came in and out of the doors, how they talked, the terminology that was used, and of course how things worked. It was quite obvious that her father wasn't the best salesman, but they got by enough for the two of them. And then one day Andy decided to speak up during a sale. On that day Andy revealed herself to have the gift of the gab, and one by one people fell to the enticing allure of her words. Between the two their sales increased drastically, allowing them to live a much easier lifestyle. But with this rise in fame came many dark looks. It all ended one night when a man shot her father in his own store; all because he refused to sell his designs to them.

After that it's somewhat unclear what happened to Andy. As she was still underage it's assumed that she was picked up by the nearest orphanage, which would make the most sense as to how she ended up in the Business District. Some years later she resurfaced in full along with some "friends" she had made. In that same time she seemed to get herself hooked on Honey Dust, as well as started her claims of having seen aliens. And then there was the feeling of always being watched. Nevertheless she has been able to keep her hat on straight enough to keep herself supported like the fine upstanding citizen she is (read as convince others that it's fine for her to mooch off of them from time to time).

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS

SCARS:

-Sustained heavy burn scarring to the left side of her face that stops just past her ear.

-Moderate scarring remains on her back from her cybernetics surgeries, running along the length of her spine and circling the areas her extra arms attach to.

CYBERNETICS:

-(Extra) Arms: Has four interface ports on her back allowing the attachment of four artificial arms. She has learned to become ambidextrous with all of her limbs through years of practice, and use. These arms can be disconnected and 'ejected' from their specific port through a neural connection to facilitate a more normal appearance.

-Spine and Legs: Her legs and spine have been replaced with reinforced cybernetics to support the extra weight of added arms. This makes it difficult for her to swim long distances, and with all six arms she can't even stay afloat.
