Realistic or Modern Doki Doki Vol. 1

Ignore him and take a seat.

I agree with Derg. (Though there's a slight chance that he'll continue to bother us. Such is the case with the ore-sama character :ghostunu:)

Blush and say nothing.

Because it's embarrassing to be both running late and running into people. And he's too rude for an apology >:|

Ignore him and take a seat.

Let's be real: as much as we'd like to tell him off, causing a scene out here isn't going to get us anywhere. If we're going to do anything about this, do it after class.

You don't say anything to the student you bumped into. You don't apologize but rather just rush to claim a seat as quickly as you can hoping to avoid a confrontation. The guy smirks in your direction as you peek at him out of the corner of your eye, sitting stiffly at your desk as the bell chimes causing the male student to take a seat, though he was still smirking at you. He didn't seem angry you had ignored him, or even really... bothered that you bumped into him. He actually just seemed amused by you.

Thankfully his seat was on the opposite side of the room from your own which meant you wouldn't have to deal with him pestering you during class. The teacher begins to make her rounds with attendance, calling out each student's name and they would reply to indicate they were present in the class. "Hiraoka Naoto?"

"Present," the boy replied. Well, you knew his name now.

"Honami Makoto?" the teacher called.

"Present," you blurt out, earning a smirk from Naoto again. As this routine continued, you hear a 'pst' from behind you and someone hands you a note.

Read the note.

But do the assignment too, after I read it.

Read the note. But be discreet about it and hope the teacher doesn't spot you. Couldn't hurt to let curiosity take the wheel, right?

Read the note. Too curious what this is about not to. Also, if it's from Naoto, I'm hoping it provides some insight into why all the smirking after acting so upset at being bumped into. I thought his ego would feel wounded at being i gnored but perhaps not? xD

Choice: Read the note.
Choice: Read the note.

You aren't sure who the note was from, or was it even meant for you? You don't want to risk being caught by the teacher, so you resist the urge to glance around to see if someone was signaling you to pass it on. Curiously you gently unfold the note. Inside was a small, well-done doodle of you with a small message. "You're supposed to apologize when you bump into someone," the note chastised. You frown at the note as there is only one person it could have been from and you were not going to even spare a glance at them; or at least that was your plan.

"Honami and Hiraoka," the teacher called out. You hadn't been paying attention! You jerk your gaze around trying to figure out what was going on and saw people were grouped together in pairs. That would mean... you were partnered with him. What even was the assignment?!

Naoto approaches your seat, taking one from a nearby desk and bringing it over to sit down next to you. "Well, don't you look completely dumbfounded. I do have that affect on some people." Was he joking or was he really that narcissistic?

Ask about assignment. We dun stained our good student record, so let's make up for it. At this point it feels like Naoto will use anything you say to him as something to sass you more about, even apologizing, which I'm still firm about not doing in this situation anywho xD, another excuse to just get straight to work.

Ask about assignment. He doesn't deserve an apology, he already got back at you with the note anyway. Asking about the assignment is the safest choice :3

Ask about assignment.

Agreed with the Derg again! Anything we say will be used against us since there's no convincing this guy that people aren't all falling over themselves the moment they meet him. Maybe he'll get bored if we act indifferent, or we might expose a different side to him that doesn't involve his massive ego. (Maybe he likes art, since his doodle of us was pretty well done.)

Choice: Ask about assignment.
Choice: Ask about assignment.

You ignore his comments, not wanting to go down the path of that conversation. "What exactly is the assignment?" you ask Naoto bluntly, making it pretty obvious you weren't in a joking mood. He wasn't bothered in the slightest by your attitude. "We have to draw each other," he replied, leaning in a bit closer to your face. "You've got nice cheekbones, overall good facial features. I've got a cute partner," he complimented with suave ease.

Since you had already decided to not apologize and not sass back, you were already on the path to just keep focus as best as you could for the task at hand. With no fanfare you get out your sketch pad and get to work sketching Naoto. He sat still as you did this with a comment of, "Be sure to get my good side." That earned an eye roll. When you felt your sketch was done enough and to give Naoto time to do his drawing, you...

Give a casual smile. None of the other options give the best impression. Both to him, the class, and the teacher.

Give a casual smile. 100% agreement with wdinatx here (though it would definitely be a little forced if this was me irl prolly xD)
