Dodrea: World of Magic

Kyo shot arrows at it's throat, trying to get it to leave. Kiat successfully electrified it as well. Eventually, the dragon took off and left. Kyo laid on the ground exhausted. She sighed and saw Kiat do the same thing. Kyo stared up at the sky, waiting for the purple cloud to leave.

(OOC: I am going to bed now. Good night everybody!)

(ooc: Nighy night)

Lily sighed in relief and yelled "YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!" doors creaked open and people mad their way out Lillian slowly made her way down and lay on the floor "That, was weird" she said sleepily

Jax/Serena/Nia

"Don't fall asleep yet. That thing is still here." She directed that toward everyone. She glared at the man and wondered."What are you, strange man?" She re-sheathed her dagger and slung her sister over her shoulder, seeing as Nia was very tired. Having her black wings burst out, she grabbed Serena and flew off, not wanting to see what would happen next. "Siri! What was he?" Serena's voice was feeble and shaky.

"V-Vampire."

Suma walked down the road, not wanting to help kill the dragon. She could help, but didn't want to. There was already an angel there. They didn't need another one. She sat on the wall. She felt like passing out due to her thirst and hunger. She sat there and stared at the sky. "Goodbye world." She passed out for what she thought would be the last time.

Haru saw the team foolishly trying to drive it away. It would just come back. He laughed maniacally and walked upon the rooftops, following Suma. He knew she would die soon and he would heal her like always. He slightly loved watching her torment, but also wanted to help her live. Sure enough, she passed out. Gliding down to where she was, he took some bread out from his jacket and force fed it to her, along with some water. She didn't wake up. He felt worried. Feeling guilty, he had to try to help her. He picked her up gently and walked toward his home. He laid her down on his bed and pulled up a chair, waiting for her to wake up.

Lillians eyes we heavy and she felt ike passing out. "No!" she said to her self she got up and slaped herslf waking hersef up a little she looked anround at the damage and sighed she started picking up things that were beyond repair and putting them in a bucket

Slade found himself interested in the dragon. He watched it glide through the sky and he found himself itching to grab at his knife. He wondered what colour its blood would be, but he forced himself from those thoughts and into the present. The dragon was being felled quickly and once it was dead he would be their man interest again. His sense of self-preservation was too high to willingly involve himself in such madness again. They seemed to not realize that if they truly wanted a confrontation with him he would kill them without remorse or mercy. He had never been able to feel things such as guilt or compassion nor had he ever wanted to, in his mind he was perfection. Those emotions he struggled to grasp the concept of seemed to make people weak and burdened.

As much as if pained him he slunk away from the dragon. They were wrong about one thing, he was not a coward. Death did not frighten them as it probably did for them, it was inevitable. He wouldn't mind avoiding it for as long as possible, but when death would find him he would welcome it with open arms.

Disappearing down the alley he was distracted by something glistening in the light. Not unlike a bird of prey distracted by a shiny object Slade found himself compelled to approach what had illuminated. It was the glint off a small bottle of dark liquid. The sales woman while quite unusual as she seemed to be half human and half snake, but he was intrigued by her products.

"What does it do?" he asked motioning to the bottle that had caught his eye.

"Varies from stupor to coma. Twenty." she barked and reluctantly he fished into his pocket and gave her some cash for the wares. He tucked the bottle away into one of his pockets. This would surely help him if any of them had decided to follow him. If not... he was sure that it would not be the last time that he would see any of them.

"Just a note sir..." she whispered almost huskily, "That toxin only works on mice. This one here is a comprehensive poison that induces anything from a slight daze to a full coma on all species." she smirked coldly. "You never asked what it affected. Twenty for this one."

"You sly minx." he grudgingly handed over the last of his profits from the necklace. So much for making money today. He had let himself get scammed. It amused him slightly, he made a note to avoid the half-snake woman in the future.

Blix came into town, seeing a large attack had obviously happened. He couldn't quite tell what, but whatever it was was big. Blix was hoping he could find someone else like him...someone who bared the same curse as him. He noticed a girl who was picking up wreckage, and placing it in a basket. He decided to help, and hope to meet a few people. As long as he didn't lose control....as long as he kept composure, he would fit in.

Fox was on the rooftop of a building, watching the others. No one here was worth pick-pocketing. She stayed on the top, viewing most of the city and taking in the scene. She could see a man in an alley, who looked as if he was talking to....a snake? A woman? Fox shook her head getting the image out of her mind. She checked again, and they were gone. Must have been my imagination. She thought that she might be a bit suspicious on a roof with a mask on. She decided to get down, and took her mask off. She put it away, and let her hair down. She walked out and decided to find someone and find out what happened here.

Lily kept picking up the rubbish she gad cleared a pathway of about a meter wide, she saw something shining and reached for it. It was the necklace the man sold. Lily didn't know what to do with it, chuck it or MAKE it rubbish, either way it would end up gone . . .

No! she told herself that wont help anyone but him she thought

Kyo

Kyo looked at the red headed girl picking up rubbish. She noticed her picking up the necklace that the creature was trying to sell. She thought up a quick scheme."Hey. Umm, can I see that necklace? I know who it belongs to. The real owner is the duchess who lives here. I know where she lives and I'll take it to her." She smiled sweetly. "But only if you would feel ok with me doing that. But if you get caught with a stolen necklace then they won't be too happy with you."

KiatKiat stood up and brushed herself off. She saw strange people standing around. She saw a girl her age and walked over to her. She seemed out of place and confused about the wreckage. Kiat turned her head sideways and spoke to her curiously."Are you ok? Or are you just curious about what happened?"

Kinxas

Kinxas, still being a wolf, ran out of there quickly. He did not want to transform back to a human in a crowd of people. He saw a young man a little older than him who shared the same curse. He could tell by the look on his face. He ran into an alley way wanting to change back. He waited a bit and felt his body shifting. If he were caught he would be driven out of town like the last time. His curse was often activated by extreme emotions or shocking events. Although he could easily loose control and transform willingly. He walked out of the alley, seeing the young man and wanting to talk to him, seeing him being an adventurer. "Hey. Your an adventurer, aren't you? I can tell. I've never seen someone like you before."

(OOC: This is meh characters talking to Blix and Fox.)

She looked at the girl and raised her eyebrows "Half that crowd can vouch that i did not steal and try to sell it, the owner is in another city now so it wont matter." she said

Kyo

"As if you honestly expect them to believe you? This entire city is corrupt and they believe no one but who is the richest or the most well known. This place should be torn apart then put back together the right way. Fine keep the necklace. It's not my fault when they try to take you away. Besides, that sly creature over there wouldn't be any help at all." She stormed off, honestly trying to help the woman. She pulled her cloak over her head and bumped into a few people on the way, easily pit pocketing them. She smirked, even if she had only gotten a little bit of loot. She felt a cold hand on her shoulder and she whipped around. A guard. "Damn. They caught me." He clasped a chain on her arm before she escaped. She was caught. The guard shoved her in front and pushed her along, seeing as she had no escape. She did however, have a handy lock pick on her at all times. "Icasedia, Venohasia!" She shouted as she disappeared from everybody's sight. She reached in her sleeve and pulled out a concealed lock pick and she unlocked the chains. She sprinted away, leaving the guard confused and dazed. She sprinted on the rooftops, getting to a pleasant view of where the wreckage had taken place. She sat there, invisible still. She watched Kiat and Kinxas help out some confused strangers. She did see a few guards walk up being the strange Angel girl. "This shall be interesting."

(OOC: Um...Lily...I'm sorry I didn't make this clear, but Angels are their own race, not descended from humans that were killed or died. I don't make it that way because often people act religiously to it. I hope you understand)

(No i meant like she was always an angel but she didn't know i worded it weird she "died" and an angel found her)

Some guards approached Lily and she said "Are you looking for this?" she said handing it over

"No Ma'am but thankyou" they said

Kyo

Kyo thought about what the guards could have been saying. She grumbled as they walked away without a commotion. "Ugh. This city is boring. The crime rate is too low. I'll have to fix that." She made a mental note. She sat upon the roof, seeing nothing interesting. She thought to stir up some trouble. She was still invisible, but thought wisely as she grabbed some rocks and threw them at the guards, a simple game she played a lot. Unfortunately, she had hit the guards that were observing the Angel. She thought in her head."Oh. That was a bad idea. I should get back to my roof. The spell will wear off soon." She climbed upon the roof again and thought hard about what she had done. That woman would be imprisoned. She thought harder and harder to decide what to do. "Leave her? No, some one like her would find me and kill me. Maybe I could- no. I could break her out of jail and call it even. Have my thugs take care of the bounty once she is out. That might work. But... if she tries to escape... Oh dear, that would not go over well. The defenses are proven escape proof. Archers will shoot you down if you try to fly or run. Honestly, their jail isn't that hard to break out of. Well, for me. Besides, we could let someone else take the blame for a bit. He he he... I am so evil." She chuckled under her breath while watching the soldiers surround the girl."By order of the king, you are hereby punished by death for murder!" Kyo looked up shocked."Murder? What? Who turned her in? The necklace! The duchess..." Kyo knew exactly how to help.

Lily said "Um i FOUND it why arest me?" and looked around for help, she saw no one but knew how to prove it, if she could mannage, but of course her plan failed, she just didn't have the energy

Kyo

She didn't realize her emotions for this girl. Something, just was different. She could feel her head swirling and she was shaking. She thought maybe someone was toying with her emotions. She tried to just blow her off but she couldn't. She pulled her cloak over herself, covering her completely. She came down in an alley and thought her guild would help her. She walked among the marketplace and entered a back door in the Voodoo shop. She walked around the back of the store until her secret ratway was there. She walked among the sewers, heading to the main guild. She could order some people to help her out. She found her route and entered the underground base. She walked through the crowed of drunks and brutes, seeing an occasional professional. She walked gracefully to the front of the room and stood on a crate. The room grew silent. "I have a jailbreak to do." The crooks were excited. The jailbreaks were usually fun, but rare."I will want the best of the best. I will choose them personally. Dismissed." She hopped off of the crate and wandered around, looking for Vex. Vex was one of the best at sneaking, so she was the first to come to mind. "So i will get Vex, Jakyn, Aseal, and I will get Rege to get the bounties." She spoke with them all and managed to get everyone ready. She and her crew got a plan together and prepared to set off.

Eth froze slightly as the troll came into veiw, he didn't want to fight the ugly thing but it's senses were stronger then his own and he was already noticed. His reactions were premeditated as he pulled a bow and arrows from the air and started shooting at the hairy berserker, at that moment he found himself wishing for its supernatural reflexes and foresight. It dodged the red arrows left and right, but it wasn't as if these were normal arrows, they were his blood hardened and as such were under his control. For additional strain on his mind of course, but he didn't mind that, he just didn't want to get into that beasts grips. He had stopped firing for a moment and grew his wings, while having the arrows follow the troll momentarily, and then flew up to a patch a bit letting the troll wonder where his scent had went to. Taking a moment to create a bastard sword Eth was already diving off his perch and reading his swinging arm to come down in time with his wingly launch propelling himself like one of his arrows, but much larger and faster. His blade came down on the trolls shoulder cutting it deep, he quickly sensed that the beast no longer wished to fight he put his sword down "Then get, I fired warning shots I'm sure you noticed." He grumbled watching the thing run. He sighed and began walking for which ever destination his blood was calling for this time, only this time it was boiling with anticipation.

Kyo

She peeked around the corner waiting for Aseal's (As-ee-all) distraction. The best at what he does. He is a pro at poisons, knowing what will kill ya and what won't. We have discussed what he would do. He would take the venom of the Striped Tarantula, causing a temporary paralysis. Taking the vial and walking out in front of the guards, he collapsed on the ground. A crowd immediately surrounded him, while the guards left their posts for a mere second, giving Vex, Jakyn, and Kyo a second to get in. Jakyn had a special ability to hear miraculously and throw her voice. They entered while she listened for footsteps. They were coming closer to them. They immediately went down the opposite hallway. They ran around, Jakyn leading, dodging the guards sight and managing to make it to the main chamber. There were several guards standing out of the cell which held the woman. Jakyn looked at them with worry. She threw her voice loud enough for the guards to chase her. She sprinted away while they left two guards to watch the woman. Vex and Kyo whispered the invisible spell under their breath. They walked in the room and took out the guards with ease. They reappeared and unlocked the cell. "Shoulda' listened." Kyo said. "We can't go out the main entrance. Vex?" Vex thought.

"Kitchen. Garbage vent." Kyo looked at Lily and shrugged.

She stuck her toungue out and gestured to the wall "Blow it up, i can if you want, my cell is the last one so its just that." she said

"You're kidding, right? The noise would be far too loud! I'm not going on a stealth mission and then blowing the place up!" She threw her hands in the air when she said that. For sure they would get caught. Vex thought again. "Um...We could escape by the roof, but it is heavily guarded up there. The only other way out is the ratway and we haven't used that old thing in years. Why did we quit using that in the first place?" Kyo shook her head."I don't know but we don't have time for this. We have to go now." She was right. The guards were not far. She looked at Lily. "Blow it up." She sighed.

She grinned "No noise." she pointed to the door and a clear sheald was held in place she blew up the wall and ran out "Gosh that was fun, I haven't blown anything up in ages!" she said smiling and running she had planed her story, her sister had dies and she was going to pretend to be her.

(LOL I don't exactly know what's going on.. :P )

Layla flapped her wings, landing gently on a thin tree branch that looked like it was about to break. Her icy gaze scanned the dark clearing below, almost as if she was looking for something, but she wasn't.

She leaped off the thin branch, and landed in the ground with a loud THUD. Her hand laid gently in front of her, keeping her steady from the fall. She stood up straight, spreading her long brown wings and shooting up. Her long wings blocked the sun, creating an over sized shadow over the town she was flying above.

She grinned and turned invisible, her shadow immediately disappearing.

YURI PROLOUGE:

Yuri was quietly sitting outside, it was past curfew and the blacksmith was still not home. He waited for his master to come home, after all he needed the keys to close up. Rumors were, that there was vampires lurking around needing blood around this time. The hairs on the back of Yuri's neck stood up as he heard foot steps. "Who's there!?" he said taking out his small dagger. A small shadow appeared, Yuri looked at the shadow scared. "W-What do you want?" he asked spooked by the shadow. "Your blood." it whispered.

Yuri stood outside the blacksmith shop and for some reason, craving for blood. He scratched his neck and said, "Ow!" as he ran over two deep holes in his neck. "What the..." he murmered running his hands over them again, "Holes?" He walked into the shop and his master was snoring on the anvil. "Sir Anvil!" he said shaking the black smith. "Hmmph?" the black smith said opening one eye. "I have two holes in my neck." said Yuri uneasily. "Holes?" the master said shocked. "Looks like ye' just got bitten by a vampire!" Yuri jumped back and said, "Vampires? No... vampires aren't real!" Yuri was shocked, he didn't believe in the stories the black smith told him. They were obviously fool of baloney. "Nope I know a vampire bite when I see one!" he said exicitedly. "Now you're one of us!" Yuri's eyes shot open. "One of us...?" he questioned. "What is this madness?" Yuri shook his head quickly and realized it was no dream. "No..."

The doctor nodded, "Yes that is Ye Common Vampire bite." The doctor packed his bag and said, "He needs human blood by nightfall, I suggest a strong young woman." he shut the door an Yuri shivered. "Kill someone and drink their blood? How is that good at all? How are you all cool with it?" said Yuri. He had many more questions, that kept flowing out of his mouth. "Enough, enough." said the black smith. "It's only one person. Not like that will harm anyone!" Yuri looked shocked at his master, "Their family will grieve though! Of course they will cry!" Sir Anvil shook his head, "How do you know that? You've never seen someone die." Yuri's fists clenched. He looked down at the ground in shame. "She chose to die herself, that wasn't my fault!" Yuri stormed out of the shop upset that he was blamed. "I'll show him no one grieves when that girl dies." He pulled out his dagger and clenched it tightly.

(longest post ever?)

(Ok, sorry for disappearing. I was busy moving.)

Kyo and Vex ran out the hole in the wall, following Lily. They turned a corner quickly, watching carefully for guards. They were in the main shop area, still cluttered from the Dragon attack. Her eyes darted around, hoping to find her little sister. They were going to leave. She spotted her and Kinxas, speaking to foreigners. Kyo turned to Vex and spoke with a hurried voice. "Vex, keep care of the guild while I'm away. I'm too well known for now. Make the men get rid of my reputation by bribing the heralds and taking down the wanted posters. They know me too well here now. Make my face disappear and I will return." She turned away from Vex and ran to her sister, grabbing her wrist and dragging her into an alley. She was breathless and tired but she had to leave. She dragged her sister to the inventors workshop, with a bit of struggle, and ordered her to pack her things.

"But Kyo! I don't want to go!" Kiat argued. She crossed her arms and spoke with attitude.

"You will obey me I am your older sister! Believe me when my notoriety lowers we will return. But you must listen. Just because you didn't do anything doesn't mean they won't recognize you as my family. Now go!" Kyo spoke angrily back at Kiat. Kiat had a look or regret in her eyes, but obeyed her sister. She opened the door and went up to her room, putting everything she owned in her bag. She sighed and looked out the window one more time before writing a note to the inventor. She opened her bedroom door and jumped back in fright.

"Wanted to leave without saying goodbye?" Kinxas let out a small laugh and hugged Kiat. "Where are you going?" His sweet smile brighten up Kiat.

"Um, I don't know. Kyo is taking me somewhere." She walked pass Kinxas and spoke in a grim voice."Goodbye Kinxas. Give this to Master." She tossed the note at him and walked back outside. They stopped by the Voodoo shop and then Kyo's home, where she retrieved all of her belongings. They exited the city, climbing the wall, with out speaking to anyone or telling anyone their plan. They took the road, heading no where but somewhere. Tears dripped from Kiat's eyes.
