Personality
Rambunctious: Though Genesis during his younger days had a reputation for being nothing more than an anarchist, his level-headed management of his territory and down-to-earth personality has been recognized after a decade of violence.


Charming: New people are met with respect and kindness from him, but those he's known are met with jokes and a much more charming attitude. Somewhere inside him that rebellious side still exists, but it's been cramped by a much more lacksadaisical attitude.

Maleficent: And it likes to come out when he's in combat. To burn with fire and adrenaline, to see his opponents turned to ash, to feel the rush and exhiliration of facing a strong opponent with the pinnacle of his strength.That is what he enjoys most in life... well that and catching mice

Arrogant: Being able to create much more physical results is his proudest forté, though his ability to decieve is also up there, and though he realizes that it doesn't make him the strongest thing that roams the forest, he still holds his own ability in high regard.

Self-Motivated: That doesn't mean that he doesn't keep his morals close though, which is what in the end caused him to leave his fellow discordants behind in favor for solitude. The motto he developed throughout all his years of life was "Do what you want." If your strong enough to rule over others than do so. To use his powers to further his own ends is what he had always intended, and though he dislikes rules and regulations he acquiesces that some are necessary. All in all, he's pretty agreeable and isn't easy to anger just for the purpose of angering.

Accepting: But he's definitely better than his brethern, and though he's never claimed that he is. He has long since accepted that he wouldn't have a place in a functional society and is quite happy to be involved in the chaos of his own.

Long Version

When you go around toting your physical ability, a word that often comes up in conversation is "natural". Individuals born with an innate affinity for a specific kind of magic. Seldom are the claims true, some people like to pretend that they have a certain something to set them apart from the masses, but when the claims are true they don't always have all-positive implications.

Take the birth of Genesis, for example. It wasn't the traditional kind of birth, but only someone with no grip on medical terms would call it a caesarean. Shortly after his birth Genesis's mother imminently died a painful death. Others were baffled up until the moment where they heard a kitten crying from her body. So in a sense, Genesis might be the most specific case of "Magic Born".

Genesis's father Dalvi was a conqueror, involved in all sorts of abominations . The rebellious ideals of his father influenced Gen as well, Gen soon realized that he needed to learn to control the unbridled force he was born with. Whilst remaining under his father's radar, he had started doing activites of his own which included kidnapping people from a local village and abandoning them in the forest for smaller predators and what-not, so to test his strength against them and see exactly how strong he is.

Spirit of Thunder- The power that scorched Gen's fur completely black from birth and blessed him with an awesome control of lightning
  • Cloak of Storm - A six inch radius around Gen's body is what he calls his storm cloak field. Within this area he can supercharge objects and produce fire, as well as almost instantaneously dissipate the heat from any other source. The Charge can be embolstered and stretch outwards up to 3 feet, but it cannot be directly manipulated outside of this field.
  • Rolling Thunder - By breathing out impossible amount of air using a spell stolen from deep water divers, can spit out a wave of Lighting up to 30 meters out from his mouth.
  • Charge Shot - Ranged attacks using the Storm Cloak is impossible, and as such Genesis took inspiration from dragons and now condenses his charge into a dense ball before sending it flying at opponents. This allows the charge to reach much farther as well as gives it an spin and causes it to unravel upon contact. This attack weakens the farther the fire has traveled.
  • Fire- Genesis ended up discovering that hand in hand with his natural ability for lightning came an affinity for creating and controlling flames. Not nearly as powerful as his Lightning abilities, but an effective tool on the side.

Hot Hands - Through training Genesis has discovered how to control this and uses it to amplify his melee abilities.

Weaknesses

Artifical Arm - Early in his life Genesis managed to lose his own right arm in a battle with another CWH, Thus he had an artifical one created with magic and that solved the problem. But the drawback is that he coudn't use his spells as much as he wanted he could only use abilites like Charge Shot and Rolling thunder 3 times before had to recharge for about 4 to 6 hours.

Mistrusted - Genesis is often described as being a wretched and horrid beast,and is often attacked without provocation by strangers. This is a huge annoyance to him because he knows most of these rumbles do not help to further his own agenda.

Homogeneous - No matter what body part he devours, Gen's base form never changes, this disables him the ability to blend in with the rest of human society, it also causes him to be an outcast despite his strength because of this defect.

Lackadasical- Because of his attitude he refuses to exert energy on things that don't benefit him or those he cares about , thus it makes it incredidbly frustrating to get his help.

Corvia & The Nobody

Name Unknown. The Wytch refers to herself as Corvia, however the one in the armor has yet to give himself a name. Corvia has decided to simply name him 'The Nobody' until he decides.
Age Unknown. They could have existed for several millennia, or just a few weeks.

Place of Residence Originally spotted in The Shade. Has no constant place of residence, wandering from place to place.

Appearance The Nobody's armor is shabby and gives the appearance of being quickly cobbled together. Bits of plate mail armor mixed with hastily sewn and tied together trousers, though the hint of a gold trim can be visible in the right light.

The Spirit of the Wytch however is far from ragged. A strange adornment covering the upper half of her face. Her lips a deep red, with perfect white teeth. Her skin is pale, made more apparent by her attire. She has no set clothing(as she can theoretically just will herself into any type of clothing she desires) though her preferred attire is a black corset, accentuating the Spirit's ample bosom and narrow waist. She typically levitates a few inches from the ground and will manifest herself either at the Nobody's side or behind him.


Personality (5-6 bullet points)
Cat has His Tongue: The Wytch, Corvia, is quite content on speaking for the two of them. Seemingly disregarding his armored companion's opinions and objections. Though it's not as if anyone could hear them in the first place. Only she knows how he feels.


You, before Anyone Else: The two are extremely close, a side-effect of being stuck together. Any attempts of swaying either of them to betray one another is fruitless and ill-advised. Despite the two giving the appearance of disliking one another, it couldn't be farther from the truth.

More than Nobodies: Despite the loss of her body, and the shabby appearance of his armor, she's quite confident in their abilities. The two work together in a way that cannot be matched, even well trained groups of knights losing in duels to the two despite the difference in numbers and skill. Perks of having your souls conjoined together is knowing each others plan and working together in ways that would otherwise be impossible.

If only I still had a body: Despite losing her body and left in a nonphysical form she can still will her body in a state to match her original appearance, albeit not to an exact replication. She's quite proud of her old appearance, and will at times use her feminine charm to convince others. As long as someone doesn't try to touch her, or the ruse would simply fail.

I'm still here you know: Despite her very unofficial role as leader between the two, the Nobody will at times jump in and make decisions for them(often reminding her that between the two there can be no 'leader'). She can't stop him from writing.

I'd rather not kill anyone: Fighting and killing monsters is fair game for the armored man, having to strike down the various beasts of The Shade during their exodus. He's against killing a person unless absolutely necessary. Who he defines exactly as a 'person' is unclear.
Perhaps it's best you don't try to find out.

★ If one were to wander into The Shade, and travel to the deepest parts, they would certainly be mad. Nothing but horrific beasts and cults lay there, disfigured creatures stalking along the trees. But if one were to wander for long enough, they'd come across tomb. One made of marble, with various inscriptions in an unknown language. It would be a rather spectacular sight had it not been overgrown with moss and weeds. No one is sure how long it's been there or who even created it, but all remark it being impossible to open. Traveler after traveler always tried, and always failed, to open the tomb. But one day it had been found, opened and empty. This was where they awoke, the two pathetic nobodies.

★ They have no memory of who they used to be. The one in the armor, along with the Wytch merely awoke to find themselves inseparable and their souls amalgamated. It seems whatever deal they struck with whoever granted them their powers came with the cost of their previous existence to disappear. No notes or documents are left of the two. Whoever they used to be, they'll never know. No one ever will. The man could have been a great and powerful king, and the Wytch perhaps was once a powerful woman with such magical prowess to bend the world to her knees. Most likely, they were who they are now. Pathetic nobodies.


★ When the two awoke from their slumber, they had no choice but to fight their way out of The Shade. The aftermath of their conflict can still be found if one were to find it. Skeletons of half-eaten monstrosities and thousands of dead ravens littering various hidden parts of the area. Whoever they were, the armored lad was shown to be skilled with a blade and the Wytch could manipulate ravens to do their bidding. It was as if the two had been gifted with those abilities since their awakening.

★ Since leaving The Shade, they've traveled across the land. Their goals never truly known. Some have noted that while they do good work, their occupation as a sellsword carries little interest to them.

★ Politics and affairs of the various people in power seem to interest them little. Stories of a cloaked man in armor traversing a horrific battlefield with little concern are more common then they perhaps should be. It isn't until the mention of Wytch's that anything of the sort would attract their interest.

★ Who gave them their powers, who they used to be, and even what their goals are is a mystery to all but themselves. But they do seem to be searching for someone.

Strengths / Talents Their teamwork, his swordsmanship and the sheer variety and strength of their magic.
Weaknesses / Vices The Nobody's lack of a voice, unwillingness to tell anyone just who they are. Enclosed places are also not good for them.
Magic They possess the ability to manipulate ravens. Theoretically able to summon whole unkindness' of them and use them to attack or distract their enemies with, however their magic is strangely weakened leaving them unable to utilize their magic to the fullest. For now the nobody is able to use ravens to heal himself, as well as split himself into a whole group of ravens, making transportation for himself much easier and himself harder to strike in battle.
Goals / Dreams / Motivations Their true goals are left hidden to themselves alone, though their current goal is to find the Wytch who possess the Nobody's voice.

The size of the hilt allows him to utilize use with one or both hands with equal efficiency, though the blade is in desperate need of repair or displacement. Several chips and markings line the length of the blackened blade, though despite the shoddy appearance it's shown to still be rather effective.

★ Pragmatic - There is no better way than the most efficient way, no matter how ugly, anything else is just a waste of time.


★ Loyal - His loyalty to his kin is the most important facet of his life and in his opinion, loyalty is what separates the dogs from the men. If you have earned his loyalty be assured he will be there with you in your time of need to help as he can. The disloyal are quickly ousted from his social circles and in his neighborhood, his word can be the difference between getting a job to support your family or not.

★ Compassionate - It is not hard to see him as a warm-hearted individual as he is often giving out free drinks and food, offering jobs to those he knows are down on their luck and just generally helping around those who he thinks to need it. Often, twice a year, he will host a party for all who can attend in celebration of the start of summer and the darkest nights of winter. Additionally, despite his outwardly offputting demeanor it is hard for him to refuse someone who genuinely needs help and this has caused many the stranger to eat and sleep in his guest room despite having only met them hours earlier

★ Disciplined - Training as a soldier has taught him to hold his shield even when the worst terrors of your nightmares ride down on you, cackling like the great beasts they are. This has carried over to his civilian life and it has imbued in him a rather stalwart attribute. Additionally, this discipline controls his fears and his anger and it is rare that he will ever raise his voice or his hand in the presence of his family or strangers, instead opting to talk calmly and levelly.

★ Pious and wary - The gods have no place for those who do not worship, and for those who do not fear, their awe-inspiring tales. There is a reason orcs, humans, and elves were born mortal and he is not, in any right mind, willing to come between that. This faith is two-sided, also causing him to be quite wary of the dark forest, and even moreso the shade, as well as elves, mages and Ursuna (also its cold) because as he puts it "that place has been forsaken by the gods and it would be wise for those thick-skulled Usurnians to forsake it too."

★ Craftsman - As a craftsman at heart and an orc who has worked with his hands all his life he cannot feel but be obligated to have applied his skills to the best of his ability every day. He has been known to stay up till the early morning working on a piece until he was satisfied he had 'paid his dues' to Humni, the god of the forge. He takes to his work with utter reverence and will not have it insulted. Besides his work on the anvil, he also built his home from the ground up and helped his father build his home when he was younger.

★ Gruff - He is not the most forthcoming and it cannot be clearly said whether this is because of the war and the tragedy of his home or simply because he wishes to keep his feelings and thoughts close to himself but either way he is not the most approachable figure not because he looks scary or intimidating but simply because of the ease at which he is willing to brush you off with a shrug or a grunt.

★ Born into a poor farming family on the edge of the wilds he was brought up working the land alongside his four surviving siblings, whom he was in charge of whenever his parents would have to leave to the city for supplies or were sick. When he was about eleven years of age he was given an apprenticeship with the local blacksmith, as his third younger brother had grown old enough to take his place on the farm. The blacksmith he was studying under was an older orc, with three fingers missing on his left hand a dead eye that would roll around if he turned too fast. The boys called him deadeye because his name was apparently too familiar and they were too impotent. Still, old deadeye knew his way around the forge and was kind to Unnar during his younger years.

He worked for five years under his tutelage, saving up whatever money he could from the meager wages he was paid in. Of course, he gave some to his parents, but he was looking to leave this dirty town with ambitions that seemed to spread farther than the horizon itself. Determined in his cause he barely spent a cent and toiled almost every day from the early morning until about an hour before the sunset so that he would have time to walk home before it got dark. By the time he had turned sixteen he had gathered enough money to move to the city, but he would be cut short before he could.

At sixteen he was levied as a soldier against the invading Ursuna army that, desperate with its growing problem of starvation due to the longer and longer winters, had been sighted raiding villages in the northern part of the country. It has also rumored by many that Ursuna also wished to dispose of the kingdom because they feared its large orcish population with it being so close to them.

He fought in the battle of Simein and the battle of Loni, both of which were surprising victories, but was sent home due to his injuries when he was nineteen. The war ended soon after, with the surrendering of most of the Kingdoms food production to the Usurnian Kingdom. Eventually, the Kingdom buckled under the weight of infighting, beastly intrusions from the dark forests and starvation that set in due to them giving up their supplies to Ursuna. It was a tragic tale that which the death of his home Kingdom is told; it burned itself to death with a seven-year civil war that ripped the nation into hundreds of different factions that eventually left the land to rot one by one.

★ After his discharge from the army, he took his wages and the money he had saved up from his years working for dead eye and made the journey to Ursana city, seeing as how it was the best place for a budding blacksmith like himself. He trained under the guidance of his previous mentor's friend, a fellow soldier who had fought on the other side of the same conflict with varying degrees of understanding. The two of them did not particularly get along and before too long he was shipping off to the Knights Republic with a minor charge of assault from a bar scuffle he got into over his 'violent' heritage.

★ In the Knights republic, he bought a plot of land where a few buildings had burned down in the city of Ramguard. Along with the help of his cousin who lived nearby, he built his home, a three-story manor with the ground level being the blacksmith shop where he would work, the first floor cleared out for the living and cooking quarters and the second floor made up of living spaces, with a cellar for storage. For the longest time, he lived alone with his cousin whenever she would visit after she moved out to the Floating City but on incursion to the town market for groceries for the day he met the most lovely woman, a half-orc named Herin. He fell for her instantly, and he would like to say the same for her, and for the first time since the war felt at peace with someone else.

★ Before too long they were married and had their first child, then their second and by the time the third, Samen, reared his pudgy determined face they had bought a dilapidated building in the slums of the city. As their family grew so did their coffers and they slowly put more and more money and time into the building. After years of hard work, it was finally something that Unnar could be proud of and he quickly set about calling it the "Smited Baron" as patrons started to trickle in month by month, wary and tired from their desperate and pitiful lives. Unnar can often be seen there, his wary smile accompanying his wife's thunderous laughter, and due mostly to luck and a bit of elbow grease the place has become quite successful over the years.

★ Over the years he has suffered many losses, each more numbing than the last, with his father dying to worms blood one son dying in an incursion into the wilds and another being robbed and gutted on the road. The most recent however has been the most jarring, thrusting him from the small life that he had been comfortable to leave. His cousin, the same one that had helped him first build his home all those years ago, had been killed in the city and she left it up to him to lead the small faction of orcs she had left behind. The Orcskraigen, a small ragtag group of orcs that desperately wanted their homeland back. He was no revolutionary, no politician, and for months attempted to put it off but he had a duty to his family, it was her wish and he would fulfill it no matter how much he hated it. With this in mind, he had finally made preparations to make his first of probably many journeys to the Floating City.

★ Calm - Rarely lets anything get to her or a least not all the time or in front of everyone.



★ Confident - Artemis has great faith in her abilities but at times can become over-confident until she come across something/someone she cannot best.



★ Quiet - She rarely talks to anyone and can come across are rude or anti-social as a result when this is only partially true. Artemis is like this because of her lifestyle but means no harm by it, well not to everyone.



★ Loyal - Artemis is fiercely loyal to those she cares about or feels deserve her loyalty. She will do whatever is necessary for those selected people, unless they give her reason not to of course. If betrayed she will seek to punish the offender regardless if that person betrayed someone she cares about or herself.



★ Patient/calculating (not exactly the same but similar enough) - She isn't one to run into a fight without a plan and once she has one she'll follow it through to the letter regardless of circumstances. This can conflict with her loyalties to others and she then makes a educated decision as to what she thinks is the correct course of action, this backfires at times.



★ Righteous - Artemis always fights for what she feels is correct and just regardless of whether anyone supports her nor not.



Background



★As a kid, Artemis always stood out from the other children nearby, her height being a main part of this and also her passion for combat. Whilst she wasn’t inherently violent, the young girl always tried to copy any combat moves she would catch a glimpse of outside her home.



★ Lived with her parents in Astara Drifts until she was 14 years old due to a dispute between them about her desire to learn combat skills from her uncle to become a protector to those who needed it. This resulted in Artemis living and training with her uncle for 6 years. The day she left her parent's home, Artemis vowed to become the strongest warrior to exist and protect all those who needed it. She would not return home until this was done.



★ Whilst training with her uncle, she was taught by him in the art of swordsmanship and dagger/knife-cased combat but also learned skills in stealth, survival and archery whilst on jobs she started doing when she was 14. She also developed ‘adequate’ social skills she would need later on during these jobs(though she rarely speaks to anyone).



★ At 15 years old, Artemis was walking home from a completed job when she noticed a defenceless woman was going to be attacked by a decently sized group of bandits. Artemis stepped in to protect the woman where she was quickly overwhelmed until they were saved by her uncle.



★ She left to live on her own at the age of 20 years old with her and her uncle feeling it was time she sought out to fulfil her goal and from there she sought to improve herself in as many ways she could, strength, mentality, stealth and endurance and become an individual who would protect those who could not protect themselves and ensure the world’s peace and prosperity through her skills.

★ Being a seventh son of a seventh son gives him a natural affinity for magic, making it easier for him to learn and perform it than other humans. Another passive ability this provides is the accelerated healing of his own injuries (halving the recovery time), although this doesn’t extend to the healing of others. His blood is magically charged as well, making it useful for both rituals and sacrifices; it’s more potent than the blood of virgins.

★ Like most witches, Fayer is capable of granting wishes for others in exchange for a payment of equal value. This may require the usage of either a ritual or a spell, depending on the specific case. He may twist the meaning to further benefit himself, but rarely does it with the sole intention of harming the recipient of the wish; he’s self serving, but not outright malicious. The extent of what he can grant does have a limit, stopping short of him bringing people back to life; other limitations include not being able to affect large groups of people or alter someone's luck or misfortune. (As a rule of thumb, anything to do with giving / taking life is off limits.) He's simply not powerful enough to do that at the moment. He can also use magic to exchange things for himself, but he’s accustomed to achieving this through blood magic (paying for it in flesh and blood). More serious rituals may require parts from himself as well, which is why he's missing a few body parts.

★ Outside of granting wishes, he also specializes in cursing people with physical deformities and illnesses. Deformities will onset suddenly, sometimes happening overnight, and appear to be black patches of “rot” spreading over afflicted parts of the victim. The area will then wither and shrivel up, rendering it useless. Illnesses will slowly cause the victim to become confused and feverish, eventually resulting in a coma. He needs some of the victim’s hair, skin or blood for a curse to work, as well as something of equal value for an equivalent exchange. Since the curse is magical, it can be reversed with a counter ritual.
