One Time Luck
I'm currently looking for someone to roleplay a Dungeons and Dragons thing with; I don't have a set plotline or a set character, as I was thinking about adjusting both to my partner's preference. [Examples: If my partner wanted to do a city dungeon, I could help make a plot with that and use a wererat character, or if they wanted an adventure to slay a big baddie[tm], I would help with that and use a fighter or cleric.]
This would be 5th edition dnd, and I would really really love it if we could implement dice and modifiers into the roleplay, such as "making" a perception check and what your character seeing depend on that. With that said, if we do do this, please don't cheat and make all your rolls high.
Onto the necessities-
- Writing. Your writing style does not have to be flawless. I don't mind mistakes or my partner not being a great writer; I'm working on improving my writing, too. But with that said, please take some time to make sure it's grammatically correct and isn't just a few sentences. Give me something to work with; two paragraphs, at least. On the contrary, please don't give me a novel on what your character does or draw it out. I can't keep up with 20 paragraphs per reply due to time restraints. Also, please don't have walls of text; it's hard to focus on.
- Narration. Please keep it third person, instead of first.
- Romance. I will not roleplay specifically for romance. If romance happens, I am completely fine with that, but I do not want it to be our characters' goals.
- Replying. I'll be honest, I'm currently in finals, so my replies may be a bit scattered. With that said, I can do a reply every two days at the absolute worst; it will probably be a reply a day, if not more. I expect the same out of my partner- a reply every two days, at least. Please tell me if you're going to be busy or want to drop the roleplay, though. I won't mind, and I'll really appreciate you telling me instead of just leaving it.
- Plotline. I want a partner who's willing to create a plotline with me based around our characters- that's the fun of dnd!
If this sounds good to anyone, please reply to this thread and/or shoot me a pm. Additionally, if you want to include dice rolling within the roleplay, tell me that, too.
Thank you!
