Once a single nation, Apyra has split into two factions: Eastern Apyra and Western Apyra, the natural peninsula splitting the two geographically. Though long forgotten, a sacred relic, believed to simply have been lost in the turmoil of civil war, lies safely within the hands of the Westerners. However ... two unwitting mercenaries, unknowingly cause the war as they take on a poorly armed caravan transporting the relic and hand it to the Easterners. From that moment on, they continue to wrestle their way through the harsh times that are coming, having to complete controversial, risky and dangerous work - even more so than before during times of war. What will become of the two? Perhaps they will inspire a nation, uniting it once more, or cause one side to completely overthrow the other ... or perhaps, simply craft their own way through the war.
