Aw man, I can't really see Ghost "shipping" anyone with his heart of ice, but he and Blair develop a strong, platonic bond later on in the RP and he wants to see her happy, so hopefully Thorn will be the man of her dreams! Me personally, I'm really intrigued with where Dante and Fable's friendship(?) is going, but my guiltiest pleasure is probably CharliexHarper. I'm not sure if this is canon or not lol, but I remember one time Harper was mentioned to maybe have once harbored a crush on Charlie, and on the inside I'm dying to know how a relationship between them would have panned out.

I know I'm a sucker for my own ships but I'll purposely not use them to say my favorites.

Charlie would likely ship Night and Bella because of their blossoming friendship and she thinks they'd be good for each other.

Aubrey would ship Randi and Jaxom, or Maverick and Poppy, because they're all super hot and fun.

Chris is not the type to ship anyone but he probably would ship Aubrey and Finn just because he cares for Aubrey a lot from when they were together and he almost accidentally killed her.

As for me? I'm not sure, but one I've liked the idea of is Probably Harper and Fable. I also agree with Nightmare about Harper and Charlie being an interesting idea.

Blair ships Aubrey and Finn no doubt, she’s been friends with both of them since she was little and she’s probably just dying on the inside for them to get together already. She’d also never mention it - but she sees the way Ghost and Charlie look at each other and she ships it.

Maverick is so freaking confused by love and ships ahahaha. He’d probably just support anyone who actually knows what they’re doing enough to have a stable relationship. Except he will definitely tease ghost no matter who he ends up with

Jaxom I think would for sure ship Dante x Fable. Though like any man he’d probably also ship Harper x Fable. He’d be down to see people end up happy though so there’s that. Lol

Poppy would ship Night x Bella since they seem to be developing a close and cute relationship. She would think they suit one another and would make a great couple!

Er I for sure don’t see Mav and Poppy as a bro/sis relationship not after what all they’ve said to one another and done kissing wise. They have too much romance for that

I personally ship Night x Bella cause I think they’d fit each other so well. NOW THAT THE IDEA IS THERE I kinda ship Fable x Harper not gonna lie cause it would be cute!

OH GOSH! THIS QUESTION MIGHT JUST KILL ME OR GET ME KILLED!

Okay so Randi CLEARLY ships Aubrey x Finn because they are so cute and she wants to see them be cute together! She would die shipping that ship! She also ships Poppy x Mav because she has known Poppy her whole life and sees how much chemistry the two have! She legit wants to officiate a shotgun wedding for the two of them but FIRST Ghost needs to help her find a way to become an ordained minister!

Thorn has...no idea what is going on. The boy always has his head focused on his projects and is the last person to find out when people are interested in one another, it is always a shock to him. If he had to ship a ship tho he would jump aboard the Night x Bella ship because they seem cute and they seem to have a lot of chemistry despite just beginning their friendship.

Fable is all aboard the Aubrey x Finn ship as well as the Ghost x Charlie ship! She is manning the cannons and ready to defend her fleet! Dante is her first mate of course and therefore he gets to wear a fancy shipping hat with her!

I have so many ships and some of them are like...shipping the same person with two different people which makes me scared to say but it also means I love y'all's characters sooooooo much that it makes it hard. I for sure ship Mav x Poppy because the chemistry and the history mixed with the touch of forbidden fruit makes it just sooooooo juicy and irresistible. I have also loved the friendship that has formed between Ghost and Randi, not as a ship, though it would be a spicy one, but still something that I am a huge fan of! THERE ARE TOO MANY SHIPS I SHIP AND I AM NOT PANICKING BECAUSE I CANNOT WRITE THEM ALL!!!!!!

We'll be gearing up for a timeskip relatively soon. It won't happen in my next RP post, but in the one after that, so everyone should still expect to get in another post or two with their characters in the current time before moving on. That being said, you guys might not want to embark on any new and ambitious plots right now. Start to look for a place where you can wrap up for the day... but don't pull the plug immediately, or your charries might be waiting around for a little while.

Pssst if you don't have any big plans for Poppy at the moment, you could end her next post with her going to seek out Ghost...

Hey guys! Don't want to interrupt here but I just wanted to pop in and say hi!! I was part of the thread long ago but I migrated onto here after FF closed down. I used to play True Gonzalez, Dauntless-born initiate. I unfortunately ended up leaving FF because of illness, as I was living in a facility with limited internet usage, but I'm still kicking! I'm super glad to see you guys are still around and roleplaying even after what's now approaching four years. I'll be hovering over the RP thread for sure. I remember everyone's posts being really awesome and the characters were super well-played. Although I miss this RP, I'm going to hang around for a bit and make sure I'm in a place where I can post consistently before I submit an application, if you'll have me. Cheers

I'm glad you remembered, haha! It's definitely been a while, but I'm doing a lot better now and since I'm much more stable I've returned to living at home (which means more internet, yay!). I'll read over what has happened, but a super brief recap would also be appreciated, as there is a LOT to read, lol. xuanan Oof the recaps on the first post are a little outdated, sorry. I'll give you a more current one below. As for hopping in, I don't expect the timeskip to take place for another two weeks or so OOC wise, so if you want to get in a brief interaction with another character before then to reintroduce True to the story, I think Chris, Harper, Leah, Night, and Randi are all idle and open! Of course, if you'd rather just wait it out, that's an option, too. If it's not too much a bother, could you please find True's form on the FF apps thread and paste it with the new apps? That would be a great help, and thanks in advance!

Ghost and Randi just finished up dueling in a simulated environment, kinda like a virtual reality where they try to kill each other. Afterward, the two of them went to get coffee together, where they were surprised to encounter Alex Young, Leah's devious brother from Erudite, when he abruptly sat down at their table. Unbeknownst to Randi, Alex is there on his father's behalf to check in with Ghost and ensure that he is doing his job surveying the initiates for possible Divergents. Perceiving Alex's arrival as a threat (he and Ghost have a long and unpleasant history), Ghost "accidentally" spills coffee on him so that the two of them have an excuse to escape Randi. But Randi is catching on to Alex and Ghost's existing relationship and knows that something is off. When the two boys are alone together, Ghost offers to take Alex on a tour of the initiates' part of the compound. Then they arrive at one of the testing rooms where the initiates conduct their fear simulations, and Ghost surprises Alex by suddenly injecting him with fear serum.

Dante and Fable, who have been friends ever since the beginning of initiation, were recently commiserating about the turmoil they each feel in the wake of their fear simulations. As a way to cool down from the tension of their training, the two of them climb to the top of the compound roof and engage in a race across various nearby roofs. Their contest comes to an end when Dante slips while leaping between rooftops and very nearly falls to his death. While nothing explicitly romantic has occurred between them yet, it appears as though their growing relationship might be heading in that direction.

A little while ago, Aubrey was approached by the head of Dauntless security, Jeremy Daniels (who unbeknownst to her is her half sister Charlie's biological and very abusive father), and he informed her that her mother and sister are being abused by an unknown suspect. However, Charlie and Sasha refuse to disclose their assailant's identity, and so Jeremy has tasked Aubrey with discovering who's behind it. After getting tattoos with Finn, Aubrey approaches her best friend about her new mission, and how Jeremy promised to promote her to leadership if she succeeds. Together the two of them come up with a plan to discreetly observe Charlie over the next few days and see if she interacts with anyone who could possibly be the culprit. Right now, Aubrey and Finn have arrived at Aubrey's house with intent to search Charlie's room while she's not there and hopefully uncover some clues.

After an arduous day of training, Bella and Night have recently made one another's acquaintance. Both of them feel somewhat like misfits in their new faction, having belonged to Amity and Abnegation respectively prior to the Choosing Ceremony. Neither of them has a whole lot of confidants at the moment, so they make a pact to be friends and not let the trials of initiation pull them apart. Bella and Night leave the compound, walking around and exploring the city, reminiscing about the changes between their old lives and their new ones. While nothing romantic has occurred between them yet, it looks as though a future flirtation may be a possibility.

Blair has recently been making some startling self discoveries. It appears as though she has gained a shocking new ability to move objects with her mind, which may or may not have something to do with a mysterious drug she indirectly obtained from her boyfriend, Chris. After being courted by an unexpected ally with a plan to utilize her ability to fight back against the corrupt faction system, she is unsure what to think or who to trust... especially now that the aforementioned ally is in possession of the dark secret of her Divergent status. Currently, Blair is trying to destress by going to lunch with Thorn, a Dauntless-born initiate with whom she has had limited past interactions, and the two of them are chatting amiably about his hobby of metal and woodcarving.

Poppy has confided in Maverick the full weight of her inner turbulence; not only is she struggling to manage her romantic feelings toward him, but her long-lost father recently reached out to her requesting a meeting. Poppy agreed to the meeting, but she wonders whether her decision is a wise one, since her father had originally disappeared after being named the main suspect of her mother's murder. Maverick tries to dissuade her from the meeting, but he fails to change her mind. Additionally, he and Poppy discuss yesterday's incident of a kiss between them. Maverick is unsure whether he reciprocates his long-time friend's affection, since he is also partially attracted to Bella. However, as an instructor, he knows that a relationship with either initiate is forbidden and could land him in a world of trouble if word gets out. Leaving Poppy with a noncommittal promise to sort out his feelings for both girls, he goes to locate Bella to lay some boundaries in their friendship and apologize for any previously uncouth behavior toward her.

Last but not least, Charlie was going on a jog throughout the compound when she literally ran into Jaxom. With nothing better to do and nowhere to go, the two of them engage in conversation about Jaxom's life in his previous faction, Candor. Jaxom tells her about his family and how he dearly misses them. What he does not bring up, however, are the various bruises he notices littering Charlie's body. Charlie regularly neglects self care, and when she shivers from cold, Jaxom slides his jacket around her shoulders. Charlie appreciates the gesture and can't help but reflect on the muddled state of her sort-of relationship with her current romantic interest, and how Jaxom seems comparatively more attuned to her needs and emotions.
