Any Criticisms, Questions or Comments are all welcome here. The only rule is to be civil with your posts here in this thread. If you have any questions, concerns or comments that you might think can hinder the experience of the RP to other players, hit me up with a PM and we'll discuss there. Same rules apply in PMs as well.

Does the picture we are using for our character sheet have to realistic or is Anime style accepted for this RP?

@CaR_HoPPeR

I have a question, before I create a character, of course.

Are you accepting characters, that are previous residents of the Boros system? Or do they have to be newcomers?

Also, is the slight customization, of the character sheet provided, allowed?

I would prefer a realistic picture, but I highly recommend a detailed written description.

@Elephantom

I'll actually accept any character that was a previous resident of the BOROS System or was already one. It's just that the sheet is there for that specific Borough Sector. So for example a hypothetical character could be living in a different county, or in case Borough, and is being identified and registered to Borough Sector #4 that is specified on the sheet. EDIT: I forgot to mention that for the Residence section, the person could be from another entire country as well.

What kind of customization exactly? Thematically the sheet is constructed like that for archiving residents, it's just so happens that there's some server problems and the Administrator itself has to rewrite from the records viewed the last time he/she logged in. So in such a strict and flawed bureaucratic system, the only way other people categorizing recent and current residents is having the same form for each resident.

Nothing big, just the size and some font change. The size eases view of the profile, as I'm currently using my phone.

Hmmm... I rather have consistency for everyone's sheets. I'll allow it for the brevity for people who are using phones for the forums.

@Elephantom

So, I made a pretty big misnomer concerning the Misc Details. Race, which would be changed to Ethnicity for specific purposes, is supposed to be what human ethnicity your character is. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: And your descriptions are supposed to be all capitalized.

Honestly I suggest anyone using a phone to browse this RP shouldn't do so: I like to pull some formatting tricks to bring in the RP's atmosphere, which can concern with the page size blowing up or the post itself being too big on certain mobile phones such as the Character Sign Up Page. We can still discuss how it's viable for mobile phones and how we should sort it out.

This is only a suggestion as subjectively it's better to type on a computer with a big enough monitor to see all the neat stuff.

@Elephantom[/URL] You can use a website like this one Uppercase or Lowercase Letters Text Tool to change your text to all caps without having to rewrite it. I don't know if it would work on your phone though.
Unfortunately, nothing works on my phone.

*sigh*

I have to rewrite the character, and it'll take some time, as I'm also busy working on other projects. Needless to say, I haven't abandoned this RP.

Oh, it worked. My often overly exaggerated justifications can seem misleading, or so I see here. Well, the character looks all finished to me.

@Kitty Cat

I hope you know that this RP is not first come first serve. This has been specified in the Main section of this thread which links to the interest check for you to apply. Have you at least read the interest check, the main post and the overview? Because your character doesn't fit with the roleplay unfortunately. I suggest you should read up what the roleplay is really about before you make another sheet because the sheet you have posted isn't satisfactory and isn't relevant to the roleplay itself.

Sorry. Got this one mixed up with a different one somehow. I may still join if I can think of a suitable character to put in that fits with the tone of the story. Thanks for not going all apeshit like most.

Not a problem, just be sure to read up everything if you ever want to sign up again. Any questions you have, just ask.

So. It's August 13th. What now?

What everyone else in the Roleplay needs to do now is to choose the three locations that will be in the poll in this thread. The three locations will differ in residents and environment. The poll will end on the 20th which will cement any unfinished sheets or sheets that are to be started. Once you vote, you can only vote ONCE and that vote will be final. Be sure to get your location voted BEFORE you make your intro post in the Official Roleplay.

There is only a limit of THREE per location.

The link to the poll is provided below:

Here are the descriptions of the three counties:

  1. Norwalk: A Borough between Cerritos and Bellflower, it is considered by many residents as the melting pot between the three counties due to its close presence to the largest freeway, the 605. Many residents move to Norwalk due to its relative safety and stability comparative to its sister counties. Security isn't lacking and gang activity is not too apparent to be an issue. Houses are typically small suburban one stories to apartments with few checkpoints.
  2. Bellflower: Another Borough where its relative safety isn't established. Due to Compton's instability and its three front war of the Olympian Security Force, Cali-Street Gang Nation and the Freesurpers Insurgency, the violence has spread to the quiet town of Bellflower and the Security Force has established a boundary in order to bring a semblance of civility to other counties. Bellflower is on lock-down due to the ongoing events and it's one of the most dangerous areas to live in due to the three front turf war. Similiar to Norwalk's house architecture but frequent checkpoints due to the turf warfare commencing.
  3. Cerritos: A example of an somewhat affluent Borough, it's community predominantly Asian American, Pacific Islander and Caucasian: it's stability coming from the lack of Olympian influence and its dependency of the overgrowing black market activity in Cerritos. The Borough also has a rampant issue with drug distribution and usage due to the lack of Olympian security. Possibly the most boring yet safest area to live in. Highly prosperous two story suburbia, few to none checkpoints.

Note: You and other members can also live together in the same county. I highly suggest to work together already as a team before the intro posts are due. Contact to whoever you think is suitable for your characters' synergy.

Due to some confusion concerning being residents or not. All characters in the Roleplay were already residents before the intro post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The future GM posts can be replied as short as possible just as long it replies to the "prompts" from the GM posts of the Roleplay.
