Hi ! I'm Valentin (Val or V) and I'm looking to get some plots started. I made a recruitment post a pretty good while ago, so if you're someone who messaged me back then and want to bump the message feel free!
I’m currently 23 and have been writing collaboratively for about 10 years. I mostly enjoy character driven narratives, especially with an ensemble cast :3 I’m currently in school (funeral services) & working full time so my activity may be sporadic but I can guarantee a reply at the very least once per week.

✦ Semi-literary (400-1k words, generally but can be less or more; always at least a couple hundred words).

✦ I'm okay with animated or real life face claims, or written descriptions. I draw some of my characters. Hard rule: I won't write with anyone who uses AI for face claims.
✦ I have no preference writing as/against characters of a certain gender, but I do generally prefer writing queer stories; most, if not all, of my characters are LGBT+
✦ I Will send headcanons and Pin boards and playlists and maybe art ?! Lots of bonus content from me.
✦ Open to romance (especially slow burn!!) but I prefer action/adventure as the main plot hook. Also, I love an ensemble cast.

✦ I have a few established universes that writing can take place in; mostly they're just bare bones & setting based so there's a lot of room to explore and fit things to specific role plays :3 I'm open to extending them collaboratively if anyone has an interest in world building but it's not a requirement.
OVERVIEW
Set on a slightly Alternate Universe Earth several decades in the future; things are more or less the same just with the advancement of technology. Loosely inspired by Bioshock.
The primary location is one main city (still not named... sorry), a metropolitan center responsible for a lot of technological advancements. In recent years the company CHIMERx has developed a drug known as PHARMACON that reads a portion of otherwise non-presenting genetic code and gives the user supernatural abilities. The government entity known as AEGIS has, unbeknownst to the public, had dealings with the company to produce a version of the drug for military purposes.
The current state of things is a fairly recent roll-out of Pharmacon to the public. Long term side effects are unknown. A smaller, more regular dosage is in the works so people have to keep retaking Pharmacon in pill form rather than a one time injection.

Under the reign of the Fourth Imperium, the galaxy has known prosperity and peace. Mostly. Planets far away, but under the Imperium's reign find themselves ruled but not receiving the same aid. A group of leaders of the outer planets known as the Coalition has demanded independence, and a war is seemingly on the brink.
[There is more lore but it's kind of long-winded and mostly political intrigue, so I can send this later should anyone be interested!]
PLANETS
Known Imperial planets:
✦ Halcyon 183 – seat of the Imperium. Rich, prospering, extremely technologically advanced. Ruled by both the Queen and many, many corporations. Great mix of people / aliens / androids from across the galaxy. Capitalism final boss.
✦ Helihelm – Steampunk inspired. High tech but lesser economic resources.
✦ Arcadia – artificial life; looks and almost behaves like a lush environment, but everything has been fabricated and genetically engineered to look & behave the way it does.
Known Coalition planets:
✦ Annex – SPACE COWBOYS.
✦ "Trash Heap" – dumping ground for old models or defunct androids. Have been brought back to 'life' by a mysterious figure and have built a full society of robots.
Both sects of planets can be Greatly expanded, these are just quick ideas.

✦ Very open-world, sandboxy. Lots of room for creativity in character creation because of space travel / planets.
✦ Political themes, anti-colonization and revolution.

✦ Devil's Advocates [Halcyon Falling] -- SPACE PIRATES, heist-ish. tasked by the Queen of Imperium itself, a crew of a low-ranking criminal ship needs to retrieve something of great importance to the Imperium's survival. Ensemble cast, can be expanded to a group RP if that's of interest.
