Datamon laughs, then thinks for a moment...


He starts running with Nishi.


Devimon glides on top of Nishi and says," Touch of Death."


Devimon's arms grow toward his victims.

Dorumon digivolves at the right time scooping up Nishi and Datamon as they fly away swiftly dodging through the trees.

Red energy shhots from Devimon's hands.

Nishi tries to duck and dodge the flying red energy flying at him

Datamon starts waving his bands at Devimon. Devimon yells and flies away from the battle.

As the pair of friends ate their fill a loud buzzing filled the orchard, drowning out the sounds of nature around them. "Boss, get down!" Swimmon yelled, throwing himself at his partner. The two hurled to the ground just as a pair of large red pincers sliced through the tree above them like butter. Slinging the backpack over his shoulder Trevor took off running, not daring to look back at the beast chasing them. Trees fell around them like twigs as the creature began to close the distance. Swimmon turned around and spat a small bullet of water at the Kuwagamon.


"Suck that Brine Pistol yah overgrown housefly!" The insect digimon roared in defiance, quickly closing the distance between him and his prey.


With a mighty lunge he knocked the boy to the ground, mouth salivating at the thought of the soft pink flesh bleeding in his teeth. Swimmon shot out of the bag, carving a small slice into the Kuwagamon's head with his fin.


"Boss, get outta here! I can take this guy!" Trevor shook his head, digivice beginning to glow with an unnatural light.


"I'm not leaving you to die fishbrain. If we fight, we fight together." Swimmon nodded and turned back to the giant insect.


"Hear that Kuwagacrap? Me and the boss are tight as nails. Ain't nobody gonna separate us. Not you, not your gross bug friends, nobody!"


Swimmon exploded in a flash of light, making Trevor cover his eyes. When he could finally see again, the Swimmon he knew was long gone, replaced with a strange scarecrow with a sewed on bird.


The crow on his arm began to talk. "Try it and see what happens you bug-eyed bastard!"

"I wonder why Devimon left" Nishi says as he grabs Datamon and gets on Dorugamons back while their flying Dorugamon spots a Kuwagamon fighting a human. "Nishi" Dorugamon says as they swoop down to help "PowerMetal" Dorugamon yells out as four metal balls fly at Kuwagamon

"I don't think you can, Daichi... I think your partner has to be a Digimon." Gatoman said, sounding down before yowling as Haruto licked her. "Haruto, what are you doing?" The cat digimon asked, looking puzzled. "You lick me when I'm sad, I thought it might work the other way round." The five year old said. "Please don't do that..." Gatomon said, shivering. ((Needs more comedy.))

It's been awhile now and Datamon was getting curious. He tugs on Dorugamon,"so were are you guys going? Erm, Babamon's house maybe?"


In the distance Datamon sees a bright light from were they departed. "Dang it, I missed Kuwagamon...well I think I found something better..."

Daichi sighs,"so I'm going to find a Digimon Partner....ergh...Is there a shop I can just pick one out or?"


A Veemon runs through some near bushes. Yelling,"KUWAGAMON!"


The blue digimon stops and pants. He says,"well I couldn't do anything. Yep all there fault. Man those berries were good though." Veemon starts walking with his head high,"but if I did fight that bug would go splat, yep."


Veemon stops when he hears a beep and a electronic voice saying,"Partner Found"

"Well were looking for other humans to defeat the Demon Lords, I think they were called" Dorugamon said focusing on flying "Yep" Nishi said looking over at Datamon "What were you looking for" Nishi asks curiously.

Datamon grumbles and says,"well why not go to Babamon's...maybe she knows?"


He didn't lose Kuwagamon for nothing. He is going to get something out of this wannabe X, someone of my intellect should be able to some up with something. Well, even if he doesn't find Babamon-he can just take them to the Dark Tower. That always needs more.


Datamon looks down at the forest's last peaceful day.

"We've been by Babamon's, she sent us to a temple where a dragon tried to kill us" Nishi said patting Dorugamon on the back.

Datamon facepalms.


"Well were are we going. The purple dinosaur-erm-Dorugamon can't fly forever? Can we land by that lake?"


Datamon points to a sparkling lake near Dorugamon. The lake has a comma shape with rocks sticking out at the point.

"Sure, Dorugamon probably needs to rest anyways" Nishi said guiding Dorugamon downwards. They landed with a soft thud before Nishi got off the ground with Datamon and Dorugamon un-digivolved back into Dorumon.

Datamon stretches and scratches his metal stomache.


"So why don't we go catch a z by those rocks."


Datamon points to a group of rocks on the other end of the lake were a group of boulders entangled with vines lay. Datamon makes his way over to the rocks and makes a comfy pillow of grass.

"Go ahead and sleep me and Dorumon are going to adventure for a bit" Nishi said as they walked off

Datamon pretends to snore. When the two aren't looking he sneaks off into a nearby tree. Knocks on the tree and a piece of bark swings open.


Datamon waddles down the wooden stairs into a corridor. The corridor was made of deep purple velvet carpet, and paintings of LadyDevimon. And a hooded receptionist at the entrance. The receptionist greets Datamon.


Datamon shakes his head,"why did that devil have to turn all of the bases into her glorified mind. Can I get a set of DemiDevimon to help sedate a human. Also a crate for them-ergh-Dark Tower east right? I'm horrible with directions."


"I will have your demand filled out immateriality. Should only take 15 minutes for the DemiDevimnon to come. Oh, the Dark Tower is west."


"15 MINUTES! I-what is happening right now that will take them so long?"


"LadyDevimon is having a after-after-after party, celebrating how close the Demon Digievolution ceremony is."


"..stupid she-devil."


Datamon waddles out of the tree and back to his fake sleeping.

"Whats that" Nishi says looking at a little red ball "Gigimon" The digivice says as the ball turns around "Hey little guy" Nishi says picking it up

Datamon glances at the Gigimon and chuckles,"cute rubber ball."Datamon walks over to the little guy and waves. With a big smile Datamon puts the little one on his head,"so your a human right? How much do you know about Chain Breakers?"

"Not very much but I do know we need to stop them" Nishi says as the digivice finishes rambling about Gigimon

"Well you barely know anything about them and your already against them! Now that sounds like prejudice. The Chain Breakers are a group trying to give old-Digimon what they rightfully deserve-a home."

"Partner 2 found" Nishi`s digivice said interrupting their talk "Partner 2" Dorumon said looking at Nishi in confusion

Datamon jaw drops...He puts the Gigimon down and stares at Nishsi,"this is your next partner? Well that is interesting...Gigimon has the potential to be great things you know.Heck, it's ancestor is Dragon of the North Sea."

"Dragon of the North Sea?" Nishi asks looking at Datamon "What digimon is that" He asks as Gigimon climbs up the back of his pant legs

Haruto left the ditch and wandered off by himself, Gatomon being asleep. He could do things for himself, and he liked to be alone at times.
