Quinn gave Tom a slight smile, acknowledging his introduction. Before she had time to reply, another woman exclaimed something about having another female. She gave a breathy chuckle, amused but not impressed. These people were supposedly good and skilled, and so far all she felt was tension and the recognition that there was indeed more than one gender in the room. She even saw a guy in chains, probably a criminal taken in to aid or be questioned, but she assumed the prior because a criminal would not be questioned in such circumstances. Interesting...

However, she still held her tongue and even more so when the phone call came. She had a habit of not wanting to talk until she felt comfortable or safe. At the moment, she wasn't sure if this was worthwhile and was hoping to get more information as soon as possible. Evidence was what she liked and found comfort in, because evidence was real and valuable.

Jethro shut his phone and put it back into his pocket. He cast another glance around those in the room then reaching into his bag he pulled out a small carrying case. He clicked it open and set it on the table. Flipping it around he revealed the contents to be a number of pagers.

"These are how I will call you in, remember you are always on call and should this pager go off I'll expect you here as soon as humanly possible."

Simon makes it to his beloved courtroom, now placed back in chains before entering. He runs through a mass murder case in record time, the criminal placed in court, and him now waiting for the next case. He was bored, these cases in court getting to be far too easy for him. People were still against having him as a prosecutor due to his status of criminal, sometimes half the courtroom becoming empty just by him even walking in, regardless of what reason, including to merely hand in evidence to another prosecutor.

Riza remained quiet during the bickering of the two. She didn't want to get into their mess. She was also disappointed that there weren't much info about the criminals, which will make it a little harder to interrogate them but she's confident that she can manage. When the phone call came, she took this moment to study the people around her. Jethro seemed like a really serious guy. The man in chains seemed short-tempered and felt like he was hard to cooperate with. The handsome-looking Tom seemed approachable. The other female in the group seemed quiet and she could not quite judge yet her personality.. Riza took a look at the pagers. She gingerly took one of them, claiming it as her own except if they already had some kind of info pre-recorded on them. She turned it on, testing it and partially trying to learn how to use it. After knowing what she needed to know, she made a small nod.

"Alright, you are all dismissed. Take the time to learn your way around this town. It is vital that you know this place like the back of your hand."

Jethro said, looking about at those still in the room.

Quinn quickly grabbed one of the pagers, ignoring the bickering from the obviously flared up people. She was grateful for Tom and the other woman that also remained reserved and chose to stay out of it, believing that it was smart of them. She clipped the pager to her belt, the folds of her blouse conveniently hiding it. She gave a small, reassuring smile at Jethro's words, though the reaction was not directed at him. She was amused that their first assignment was to go out and explore. "Alright," she said, her tone breathy and almost uncertainly careless. She gave the rest of the people and look before heading out, silently inviting them to join her in exploring if they wanted to, though not really caring if they didn't. They were still strangers, and she was hesitant to talk to them directly.

Aeri placed the pager into her shoulder bag after Jethro dismissed everyone. 'Finally,' she thought, 'Out of this tense atmosphere!' she happily jumped from her seat. She saw the other woman look around before turning to leave. Since she had nothing much better to do, she decided to follow her. Maybe she can use her help somewhere and besides, maybe she could find more information that she needs. This will also be a good opportunity to get to know her.

She followed her outside and stopping her before she went too far. "Hey there! Need a hand? Or company perhaps?" she followed her last sentence since she might be offended about her needing help.
