Hi everyone, Ash here. After a hiatus from RP, I’m officially back in the game and looking for some new 1x1 partners. I’m not going to get too fancy with this, and would rather cut straight to the heart of it. In these tabs, I’ll tell you a bit about me and what I’m looking for, as well as the general ideas I have (plus one fandom). Once you read through this, please respond to this thread and send me a message! Please tell me about yourself, what you’re interested in, and what captivated you regarding this post.   I am a 23 year old college grad who works in social services, located in Central Time. Back when I was in college, I started an RP known as “Ignite the Spark” that still lives on in multiple 1x1 RPs. Science fiction and fantasy are two genres that I absolutely adore. Maybe you could convince me to do a slice of life, but that would take quite a bit of work. Give me adventure with a splash of romance and a dash of angst! FxF and FxM are my favorite pairing types, though I'll occasionally write MxM as well if the pair feels right. My writing is detailed and literate; I’m not looking for one liners. I want to build beautiful worlds and create intricate, nuanced characters with someone. I write because story is an underrated art form that I find so enticing and juicy. It helps hone my skills as an author and it’s also pretty damn fun.
  
  My availability fluctuates depending on the day, but I’ll always communicate about it. It’s important to me to have good OOC communication in order to plan things well.

  My ideal writing partner is over the age of 20. Let’s explore all sorts of complicated themes! I am looking for someone who feels the same way as I do about storytelling. This person will also write detailed, literate posts. No one-liners. Please also be open to planning and communicating in OOC. Also, I’d prefer someone who would be open to RPing over Google Docs. Be ready for both of us to have multiple characters.

  There are two loose storylines I’ve been working on that I would love to explore with someone, but I’m also totally open to any ideas you might have! I’m only interested in one fandom, listed beneath the originals.

  The T17SN virus is one of sophistication. A mutation of the rabies virus, it manifests in five stages. T17SN, often called “ash fever” by locals because of the grey pallor it casts on the skin, is transmitted when an infected party comes in contact with the blood of a host--most commonly through a bite. The disease is incredibly fast-moving, and a host who has been infected usually reaches Phase Three within one week of contraction. However, it can take anywhere between 4 weeks and longer for an infected, also called a Compromised by locals, to move from Phase Four to Phase Five. If a Compromised keeps feeding on viable live hosts, their lifespan is extended.
  The year is 2099. Ten years ago, everything descended into chaos. The United States were are at the brink of war when the outbreak of ash fever put a global halt on anything but pouring forth resources to eradicate the virus. Pax Industries headed up the research, attempting to develop both a vaccine and an antidote. Nothing came to fruition soon enough, and hordes of the Compromised became unmanageable.
  The world now is a place of empty desolation. Hordes of Compromised roam now abandoned and evacuated cities, left in a state of ruin and decay. There is a strong influence of both gangs and looters. Survivors not affiliated with either presence usually travel alone or in (rarely) very small groups, as there is little left to trust in.
  There have been whisperings of a safehouse, called The Halcyon by locals. It’s largely considered a rumor by overly hopeful survivors. But you know that there’s more to it than that. The Halcyon was a college university converted into a haven-like community, located on the rainy northwestern coast of the United States. People say that it doesn’t exist, but you have to hope that it does. Out of chaos, is the hope for new life. You’ve been traveling forever now. But you know that if you can just reach the coast, you’ll be able to start anew.
  
  
  Sanctus

  According to the legends of the Ancients, Aethyros was once a unified land. Death did not exist. It did not have breath and eyes and a face, like it does now. We were one people--gods and men, angels and demons, creatures of the night and the day--that lived in peace within the paradise of our land. The Sun Keeper and the Moon Keeper worked in harmony, to give humans day and night. Dark and light were not synonyms for good and evil, but rather two sides of the same coin. There was perfect balance.
  But it was not meant to last.
  Humans, as it turns out, are a fickle creature. They began to see the night as the time where things were easier to hide. They saw the night as the end of the beauty of the Sun that illuminated the ground. The night was viewed as a veil, and it slowly became a thing to be feared. The Moon Keeper watched in despair as the people who resonated with the day pushed against those who were most alive in the night. Great chaos swept the land, like none ever seen before, and the existence of Aethyros hung in balance.
  It was at Aethyros’ most treacherous time that the Soul of the Earth--the spirit of everything that was and is--intervened. Because of the chaos and the discord, Aethyros was split...forced into three different planes of existence, when before there was one perfect land. Noxis, the dark country, land of the God of Night. Luxia, the light country, land of the Goddess of Light. Terris, the country of humans. Death now exists, taking human souls to Luxia and others to Noxis.
  The Ancients once said that someday, Aethyros will become one nation. Death will be no more, and there will be unity. Now, the people consider that the stuff of myth. But the Soul of the Earth has not forgotten its promise. One day, Aethyros will be whole again…
  
  
  FANDOMLiterally just Harry Potter! This is the only fandom RP I will do. I just finished reading the books and absolutely adored them. I’d prefer creating new characters, however.
