Fandom Destiny: Rising Tides

Its alright xD it made sense when explained xD ill fix it once i finish studying here lol. No worries c: its an easy fix

I hate it when I feel like I have to do that because I'm always afraid I'll offend them by being too harsh, and I don't want anyone feeling like they are lesser because I pick on their writing. It's happened before and the person actually left the site soon after. Came back to call me an asshole and leave again.

Damn, I hate people like that. I once had an RP where the CS asked for a full name. (F/M/L) Simple,right? So the first person to apply forgot (or so I thought) to add a middle name so I calmly reminded them that they missed it and once it was added they were accepted. Long story short they went into a giant ass rant about how they and their friends don't have middle names and its against personal morals, etc. They ended up leaving the RP which caused it to never begin in the first place.


The RP was futuristic, the classic "raised by scientists" deal. Your character doesn't have many personal beliefs due to being incredibly sheltered so what's the big deal? They were acting like I told them to go out and legally get a middle name, not make one for a fictional character!?!?


Just thought this was kinda related in a way.
 
Sorry I've been taking so long. I've been spending a LOT of time on Destiny trying to complete my Moments of Triumph before the deadline in three days. Or was it four? Anyways, I'm working on my post now and should have it finished by tonight.


On a related note, what console do you guys play Destiny on? That is if you play at all.


I'm on both PS3 and PS4.

No really dont sweat it :D its constructive critisism, youre trying to fix the problem by giving me pointers and correcting me cx theres a difference between that and just total douchey comments and stuff. So i totally get it xD


By the way sorry i didnt fix it last night. After i finished studying i knocked out. But im on it now :3


 
And lol Moments of Triumph. When they first released it i was worried it was gonna take forever. But i had them all completed already xD just goes to show i have no life :'D

When they released it, I was on vacation and nowhere near my Playstation xD


I had literally everything complete, even killing Skolas since my team was one of the few that killed him during the first few weeks of House of Wolves


I was just missing 2 gold chests that my friend grabbed for me before I came home x33

Don't sweat too hard about the super. Corvus wasn't saying that your super was a problem, just the gloves. And his "amplified Storm Fist" comment was negative. He was just observing. Look at it this way, Storm Fist (the Striker's special melee) has the option to spread out and hit additional enemies up to two or three feet away from the original target. Your current supper is simply that with a much larger area. Trey's super is the same kind of thing, only with his grenades instead of his melee.


However if you wanted to change it you could have it so that when she punches something it goes flying back several feet and then explodes, electrocuting everything within a six foot radius (approximately the same size of a regular Fists of Havoc)

Personally I like to play on PS3, and Ian likes his PS4, but we can both switch between the two.

Alright everyone. I just finished with a bizarrely complex explanation to another potential player about their character that they PMed me the idea for. I'm going to write a post now for the IC thread, and then I'll get to discussing characters with Hunter and Deadpool.


Hunter, if you could please read through the tabs, maybe check out the previous CS's made here and then complete your character sheet before I get around to discussion with you and Deadpool that would be great.


@gogojojo331 Feel free to post a character if you have read through everything! It's good to see so many people interested in this game, and I'm certainly not going to turn people away. Heck, I won't even really turn characters away, I'll just help someone revise them. So yeah! Welcome!

Just a heads up, I changed how my character's armor looks, everyone was using their armor in game and it was sorta bothering me that the picture i had really wasn't the best, so I changed it >_>
 
@gogojojo331: That's fine. I found that the best way to study the Lore is to read up on the Grimoires. If you have a Bungie account then you can use the Destiny app to find the ones you already have or you can read up on them at the Destiny Wikia.

@deadpool42: Thanks for being alert, mate. I'm afraid that there is a rather lot to discuss with your character, but hopefully we can get through that, make a character you love that fits both my high expectations and the Lore and still not have me feeling like a complete asshole!
 
I apologize for not participating in the roleplay. It was inactive for quite a while, and I didn't think to post a warning of my absence before I left. I have recently transferred universities and have been in the process of relocating and moving my abundant amount of crap into a new place, Good luck all (:
 
Sorry for the lack of post. It is in the works, but it is also personalized to each character, so it is going to take a bit longer. I'm almost done, though. I swear.
