Fantasy Destiny Court: Guardians of the Arcana

Kemik smiled. Chai was new, and as far as conversation skills, the kid didn't really have them. But for all his nervousness, he had remained with them. They had lost many people, and a good piece of those who still remained loyal to the court were off on a mission. To Kemik, the kid had more guts than anyone gave him credit for.

"It's alright. You don't have to be worried about me. After all, we're pretty much family here."

"You...You're...Really big...Strength...Right?"

Chai was leaning far back in the chair, with a very dismayed look on his face, as if the massive person talking to him would step on him if he got to close.

Now, He obviously knew that Kemik wouldn't harm him, and his voice wasn't threatening, but as the first person to actually talk to him since his brother departed, Chai was having trouble...Sizing him up.

(Sorry for the short-post, I don't have much to do since it's just dialogue currently)

"You can call me Kemik. Your brother talked about you quite a bit." Kemik sat himself down by Chai. "I'm glad that someone he respected so much joined us when we need the best people." Kemik could tell that Chai held his brother in high regard, so he thought he could use it to calm him down. None of it was a lie, however, as both brothers cared for the other.

Despite her headache coming back, Tasha did her best to try and put up with Mosath. She didn't really complain because he is who he is and that she couldn't change that. She started feeling tight around her lower stomach, so she applied pressure to see if she can ease the pain that she was currently feeling. Even for a Powerful Guardian, childbearing could be difficult. If she became a Guardian after her child was born, then maybe she wouldn't have to worry about her fighting capability being impaired. The bulge in Tasha's belly was getting bigger every day, which slowly started impairing her speed. She could barely walk, so being on a battlefield was definitely the worst idea for her. 'Sometimes I just don't get Mosath...Yes, he may be a Guardian of The Fool, but does he have to take the definition of 'Fool' to the next level?' she wondered.
