Some naturally-born choreographers and others are a tad bit more flexible, they all are talented individuals who can express themselves through their bodies. Whether it be ballet, hip-hop, or whatever genre, a lot of people have made it far from this department and the newer generation only aims to raise the stakes. They are generally seen as a unit, though most tend to have friends outside of the dancers.

This group is filled with individuals whose vocals range from various degrees. Some simply perform on their YouTube channels every other day, hoping to one day be heard from the internet. Others try to perform at whatever cost and any location. A few of them are actually close, but this is the one group everyone should be scared of. They have great sway with the school board – the founder was a singer.

They can manipulate you without you even realize it and are probably the most ruthless when it comes to getting what they want. However, people need to recognize that it is the musicians that pull everything together and this group is ready to prove themselves. Most mastered at least two instruments at a young age and have only improved. And everyone best beware – this is where the majority of the double or triple-threats reside!

  Personality: June is known as a very soft-spoken introvert. She is easy to talk over, and easier to forget. She is quiet in class, quiet when spoken to, doesn't usually raise her hand in class or volunteer first for things. However, she is a musical genius amongst the musicians. A child prodigy who started making a name for herself at competitions from an early age, she has a knack and the brain to pluck music notes from the air and weave it into a song - almost like magic. She lives and breathes for music. That can make her a bit of a drill sergeant if she's the one conducting, but that's only because she is pushing other musicians to learn more and be more than they think is possible. She offers kind advice, and lessons, and help for those who ask. She is classically trained, and is known as that one first chair, the shadow of her parents always looming behind her success and pushing onto her shoulders.
  
  The reality is her father at home has the old school Korean mindset of men run the house, her mom is a subservient housewife that trains June to be the perfect wife for one day too, and they expect June to be extremely successful and then some. They burden her with their hopes and dreams for her. She has learned to live and breathe music, as it is her only safe space away from their crushing words and persistent eyes. But she secretly craves a lot of freedom. When she has her headphones on, she is usually secretly listening to all the bands and music she actually likes. Pop stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, rock bands, metal, rap, music from all around the world. Her music genre knows know boundaries. She loves and listens to everything. She is secretly jealous of the creative musical and personal freedoms a lot of the musicians have, especially the ones who fall into other genres and aren't usually in the auditorium with the orchestra.   She was born as the second child, and a daughter. She has always been made aware of it, and her status within her household and the world as she knows it. She's only good to be ultra successful for the family, and to be a quiet, subservient wife. Just like her mother, and just like the old ways of patriarchal South Korea that her parents immigrated from. Her older brother, Jae-suk (known as Jay), is the golden child her parents adore and spoil to the extent June is expected to do most of his chores, including his laundry. She doesn't hate her brother. Rather, they are quite close because he speaks up for June and looks out for her. However, he just will never truly understand.
  
  He's attending college to be a doctor, again, the pride and joy to their parents. They stay in touch through text as much as they can, but don't usually see each other except for the holidays so June is forced to handle the brunt of their parents pressure by herself.
  
  With the level of pressure she has on her every day, she sometimes has severe anxiety attacks and panic attacks when she messes up during orchestra. Never anything public, but she has been found missing before. She'll usually have to excuse herself from music theory or other classes of the sort to go into a practice room when no one is there and cry and scream and rage all she needs to. It's become her only coping mechanism with the level of high functioning anxiety and depression she carries on her shoulders.   Juniper is the third born Odell child, born after her older brother Brennan and their oldest sister, Wendy. Born a few years ahead of them, Wendy left her own legacy at Los Angeles of the Performing Arts before Brennan and Juni even arrived. All of the Odell children were blessed musically, and that includes Juni. Gifted with the sultry voice of an angel-- others words, not hers-- there was no doubt in her mind even from a young age that she would attend the same school her older sister did. The expensive price tag on the tuition meant nothing, but that was evident throughout her life as her parents had no issue splurging on their children. Of course, being that successful meant they were often busy, and their presence in their childrens lives unfortunately lacked at times. But Juni never held it against them; she knew they were just trying to make their lives better. This also meant that the three siblings were pretty close, especially her and Brennan.
  
  Juni was in middle school when things started spiraling. Being a child, she didn't see what was happening until it was too late. Her mother was unhappy in her marriage to her father, and the fights that used to be behind closed doors started spilling out into daily life, little by little. And for as much as their parents loved their kids, they expected perfection from them in just about every aspect. It was alot of pressure, and Wendy broke from it. She started rebelling, her grades dropped, and despite the fact that she excelled musically, she just couldn't take it anymore. Things at home fell apart, and their image shattered further when her mother decided she wanted a divorce. The process was messy and affected everybody in a negative fashion.
  
  Juniper did her best to keep her own image intact, but it was hard with so many sets of eyes on them. She fought tooth and nail to claw her way to the top when she finally got to high school, determined not to let her family drama keep her from getting to where she wanted to go. Not wanting to become the black sheep of her family like her older sister who cracked under pressure, she learned how to keep a mask on and not let people see anything except what she wanted them to.   Being the only boy born in the Odell family, Brennan pretty much felt the pressure of being perfect from a young age. Far before either of his sisters felt it, despite the fact that one of them was older than he was. His father would pull him aside for private conversations in which he would explain what was expected of his son, and for a long time, Brennan tried to live up to those expectations. It was difficult, of course, as no child is perfect, but Brennan learned from his mistakes. Or tried to, rather, to please both of his parents. His mother had a softer touch and approach compared to his father, but she expected no less out of him than his father. Gifted in the music department like both of his siblings, he found a love for quite a few instruments when he was still quite young. And as it turned out, he had a damn good voice of his own.
  
  When shit hit the fan for their family, Brennan was in his last year of middle school. And truthfully, hiding behind the surface was a tiny bit of jealousy that his older sister and mother were able to just leave, but he couldn't. Barely fifteen, he was forced to stay with their father, same as his younger sister, Juniper. And while she thrived in the extra pressure that came from what happened, Brennan found that he hated the attention and didn't want anything to do with it. But instead of deciding to throw everything away, he kept his rebellion on the down low, not really enough to gain alot of his father's attention.
  
  Now in his senior year, he plans on dipping out right after graduation. He and Juni used to be extremely close, but they drifted some after everything, and he knows she'll be fine without him.   Cathy is a lot of things rolled up into one. On the outside she's seen as confident, not scared to say hello, make friends or even make a move. When every action only makes anxiety twist in her gut. She's always afraid she's fucking up, that she's disappointing someone. The act of dislike from someone causes her to spiral, and shrink away, unsure what to say or do, and more than often will double down on her behavior, even if she knows it's wrong. Her confidence is a farce, a way to hide the Cathy she is when she's around her mother. A quiet, kind girl who loves to play piano that really died years ago.
  
  Cathy doesn't hate piano, she could never bring herself to hate it, or music, though she definitely hates playing the violin. Every now and then she can be seen attempting a song on the guitar, and though she's had no lessons for it, exercising her voice when she's all alone. Music was once a source of comfort and love for Cathy, her mothers suffocation just helped morph it into what it was now. Something she only does when she has to, something she can no longer bring herself to find joy in, her mother always in the back of her mind, telling her what to do, or how to act. Cathy's attitude towards her music is shown daily in her classes. She does just enough to get good grades, and the only time she can be seen truly trying is when performing on stage in front of her mother. This attitude has made many adults and classmates alike dislike her, a girl with so much talent and promise, not putting in her all like everyone else. It's understandable, but Cathy can't convince herself to change, no matter how ashamed she is of it, she's aware of her faults, but knowing and changing are two different things.

  Born to a struggling single mother, Cathy never knew her dad, she never cared to, seeing how apathetic her mother seemed to feel towards him. The love she got from her mother was enough, she was supportive, loving, basically everything you could wish for in a parent. She supported Cathy's strengths and weaknesses, helped indulge her in her interests. Everything was great.
  
  Cathy showed her interest in music at a young age, and it didn't take a genius to tell that she was a true prodigy. Blessed with a gifted voice and musical fingers, Cathy's mother managed to enroll her in piano classes. She was happy, and she very quickly fell in love with the piano. Enjoying the sounds she could make with just her fingers alone, and the joy that came from her mother every time she performed a new song for her.
  
  Time passed, and things changed. Cathy's mother began to climb the ladder at her job, she enrolled Cathy into more expensive classes. Better schools, networking, performances, Cathy's passion quickly turned into a job as a middle school student, and slowly, Cathy's love for music began to dim. She learned other instruments to compensate, guitar, bass, violin, learning them didn't come easy to her as piano did, but she still managed to exceed at them. Unfortunately, her mother did not support Cathy exploring her other options. Her job had begun to change her too quickly for Cathy to keep up, and her close relationship with her mother became one of slight hostility and fear.
  
  Cathy began to act out, drinking, partying, becoming the opposite of the image her mother has designed for her as a pianist. Her love for music had died, not even singing could bring her joy, her untrained voice becoming a spot of scrutiny from her mother. Cathy became a different person when away from her mother, more carefree, fun, and extroverted. When around her mother she became quiet, polite, the perfect image of a girl in a dress, ready to perform on stage. Her mother none the wiser, Cathy's fear of being disliked by her mother too strong for her to express how she really feels.

  Alexa is the youngest of three children. Her mother, Adrianna is a pageant mom who loves showcasing her children and lives vicariously through them. Although her father disagrees with his wife, he often remains quiet. Her father is an expert at playing the part of the painfully oblivious husband.
  
  Shortly after Alexa turned six her mother was enticed by the glitz and glamour of Broadway. She pushed her children towards the arts hoping one of them had a knack for it. Her hopes were realized with Alexa. While her siblings showed subpar skills in both dance and singing, Alexa excelled in dance, particularly ballet.
  
  By the age of 12 dance consumed Alexa's life. She was forcefully homeschooled by her mother so that she could devote all her time to perfecting her technique. Dance became the family's entire life. All extra money was poured into dance, whether it was for buying new pointe shoes or paying for additional lessons. Adrianna gave Alexa all her attention neglecting her other two children. The relationship between the siblings is tense due to their mother's actions.

    Beth was born the second child and only daughter to Sarah and Noah Howard. Beth doesn't remember much about her childhood but especially before her mother fell ill. What she knows of that time has been told to her by her brother Billy but given his drug taking, alcoholism and bitterness at the world she doesn't overly trust what he says either.
    
    When Beth was about 10 years old, her mother got diagnosed with a progressive frontotemporal dementia. Due to the severity of her condition, Sarah deteriorated quite quickly and within a few months of the initial diagnosis the disease took hold of her brain and she began to experience paranoid hallucinations. As she began to forget her family, she began to believe that they were trying to kill and in particular Beth. During the paranoid outbreaks Sarah attacked Beth twice and almost killed her by strangulation but thankfully Noah came home just in time to save his daughter.
    
    A few days before Beth's 11th birthday, Sarah died and Beth was present in the hospital, on her own, as he brother and father had gone to get coffees in the cafeteria. It was a messy and horrific death which terrible traumatized Beth, leading to her fear of loosing people and her inability to let people get too close to her on an emotional level.
    
    Her father began to drank heavily after Sarah died and to Beth he was an emotionally abusive bully but what she didn't realize until years later was that her brother Billy took all the physical beatings and protected Beth at that time. After years of abuse, Billy began to fall apart and became the thing he swore he never would, as he got deeper into the alcohol he began to dabble with drugs and the siblings relationship began to strain. Beth tried her best to help him get clean but there's only so much you can do to help someone who doesn't want it. After Billy physically assaulted his girlfriend Emily at a party and it got out that he had been beating her while drunk and high, he ran from his problems and disappeared. He got in contact with her nearly a year after that and the pair now stay in contact regularly.
    
    One night after Billy had vanished, her father got home drunk and unfortunately Beth found out what her brother had been hiding, with no Billy to guard her door in the night, Beth was open for the taking. That night she packed her bag and ran away from home, moving into different friends houses until eventually ending up in her Aunt's house who took her in and helped her get into Los Angeles of the Performing Arts.

    Andrea was born in Lima, Peru to Juan and Emily Díaz, the youngest child and second daughter of a family of 6.
    
    Juan was born and raised in Lima, Peru whilst Emily was born in San Diego, California. When they were in their early 20s, Juan and Emily seperately with friends decided to travel around Europe as their final hurrah before joining the professional working world. Neither could have imagined what that trip would hold for them, the greatest love story that Andrea had ever heard. Juan and Emily first met in a bar in Prague and spent the whole night talking to each other, they exchanged numbers with a promise to meet in another Country but neither would text first. The one who got away was what they believed the case would be, that was until they met once again in Paris a few weeks later as they were checking in to their hotel. As faith would have it they ended up in adjoining rooms. They spent their few days in Paris getting to know each other and fell in love in the City of Love. When they returned to their respective homes they remained in contact before Emily finally took on the adventure of moving to Peru to live with the love of her life. Shortly after they were engaged and Emilio was born.
    
    Growing up the Díaz house was one full of laughter and love and it was obvious to the children and everyone around them how in love Juan and Emily were, a wonderful example for the children of how a loving relationship should look like, however, unfortunately things are not always as bright as they may seem at first.
    
    When Andi was 10 the cracks in their foundation began to show and the life that Andi had always known began to crumble and crash around her. Her mother and father were distant with each other, their laughter that once filled the house now anger and screams, she can't even count how many times she found her mother crying on the floor. It was a tense and confusing few months as the parents decided what to do and then without so much as consulting the kids a decision was made. Emily was to move back to America with two of the children and Juan would remain in Peru with the other two. The children were given the choice of parent to stay with but as they didn't know what had happened, all children were reluctant to make a decision and so it was made for them. Andi and Mateo were taken to San Diego with their Mother and Emilio and Sofia stayed in Peru with their father. It was around 7 months later when the children found out what had happened to cause such a breakdown, when their father's receptionist moved in with them heavily pregnant with their newest step-sibling.
    
    For the first few years the siblings spent a lot of time flying between San Diego and Peru but they ensured that the four of them would be together during every holiday. All equally annoyed with their father for what he had done and their mother for splitting them up the siblings prioritized themselves and didn't seem to pay much heed to their parents during these times. The day that they found out about their father's infidelities' was the day that Andi lost her belief in love. Believing that if her parents could end up the way they had then love just couldn't exist.
    
    For as long as Andrea can remember she has always been into movies and the idea of being an actress. As a young child her parents enrolled her into a drama class and she was instantly hooked on it. As her entire world fell apart, Andrea leaned more into drama and acting, auditioning for every school play, every local production and just fully immersing herself in that world. Whilst Reagan does prefer to be quiet and stay to himself, he is nowhere near submissive nor passive. He is able to go from dead silent to starting an argument in a matter of seconds, and often does. It isn't necessarily that Reagan likes conflict, nor does he actively seek it; he's simply very defensive. He will not accept any kind of slander or insults targeted towards himself or the people he cares about. That said, he does not open up easily. He can be pretty unlikeable, particularly with his penchant for conflict. Relationships with him are not generally easy. Reagan navigates through friendships and relationships with the mindset that the other person will hurt him eventually, and he is always prepared for that. Born a daughter to his mother, Reagan often feels that his life was destined to go in the wrong direction from birth. His parents were both struggling addicts, almost homeless and barely in a proper relationship, his mother in particular already having another child from another man. Reagan wouldn't say that his childhood lacked love completely, but he would certainly say that caring for her children was a secondary concern of his mother's. She was an alcoholic, and didn't do much to hide this from her children, no matter how young they were. Reagan's older sister was very independent and taught Reagan how to live with the way that their mother was; they would work together to afford clothes for school, as well as make lunches and dinners.

Reagan would deny that his mother was abusive, but she would often become so intoxicated that she would start yelling, blaming Reagan and his sister for her alcoholism, despite the fact she'd been an active alcoholic before having children. In his early teenage years, started to realise that he was a boy trapped in a girl's body; interestingly, transitioning (socially) was really not very hard. His mother cared far more about drinking than the genders of her children, and Reagan didn't have an abundance of friends to judge him, only a small group of supportive ones. While he was still figuring out his identity, he found music to be a wonderful escape; particularly playing guitar and songwriting, though he's hardly a talented singer. His older sister, in her mid 20s while Reagan was 16, offered to help Reagan pay for hormones and top surgery, which was huge for Reagan. However, his relationship with his mother was becoming more and more strained as a result of her addiction, and he began to resent his sister for having left them now that she had her own job and life.

Still, he went ahead with the hormones and the surgery with his sister's aid. She suggested he also go to an arts school - he was not excelling in any regular subjects and spent far more of his time playing guitar. Again, she offered financial support, wanting to help Reagan escape as she did. While he again accepted her help, Reagan knows that he will always feel far too guilty to ever leave their mother.

  Eden Locke is many things. She's very spoiled, getting everything she wants. She's beautiful and she knows it. She is only really sincere to people she likes, respects or cares about. If she doesn't like you, respect, or care about you, well then you get a fake nice or straight up rude Eden. Eden may be a particular girl, but she works her butt off. Dance is her life. She puts her blood, sweat, and tears into dancing. It's how she gets out how she feels.
  
  As much as Eden loves dance, there's another side of her. A part of her that wants to be a free teenager. A part that loves to party, have fun, let loose and be a stupid 16-year-old girl. Not a girl who watches her diet or spends most of her time being bored because if she does anything wrong, it affects her dance career. Dancing is her passion though. It's what she really wants, and she's amazing at it. Dancing is her. It's what makes her special. Or at least that's what she thinks.
  
  Eden is in a constant battle with herself. Internally she is struggling and that has an effect on her. When it affects her positively, she'll be in a good mood, she'll be friendly, make jokes, and be at her best. When it affects her negatively, she causes trouble. She's mean, she gossips, she starts rumors if you get on her bad side. Eden lives for the drama but it's not always a good thing. She does have a good side though. A side only special ones can bring out of her. A side where she is the sweetest, where she has a heart of gold, and is like the girl she once was before any tragedy happened.   Eden Locke was born to Marcus and Josie Locke. They were the perfect family to ever be. Not a problem in sight. They were a very wealthy family; had everything they ever wanted. When Eden was a child, she admired her mother. Her mother was everything to her. Her mother was a famous ballerina, and she wanted to be just like her. So, her parents put her in dance. At first it was every type of dance, but the older Eden got, the more she chose Ballet like her mother.
  
  Everything stopped being perfect the day Josie Locke got into a car accident. Unfortunately, she didn't make it and passed away on the way to the hospital. From then on, Edens whole world changed. She did Ballet in dedication to her mother. It was her passion but the more she did it, the more expectations her father had. He put so much on her that it weighed down on her chest and shoulders. Eden did Ballet because she loved it. It was her dream to be like her mother but then it seemed like it was more for her father. He put this pressure on Eden to be so much like her mother. Eden understood he missed her mother, but she wasn't her mother.
  
  When Eden first started LAPA is when her father started dating Jessica, her now stepmother. It took a toll on her, but she got threw it. It did change her though. Everything changed her. It wasn't like she was sweet and innocent anymore. It only took three months before Edens father married Jessica. That's what really did it. She hated Jessica, she hated everything about the woman. LAPA was her home away from home, not that her actual home was even a home. In some way she was glad because while her father payed more attention to Jessica, it gave her the chance to do whatever, sneak out, go party, be a reckless teen.
