[Desolation] Chapter 2: Hard-held

Graves

Graves swears quietly to himself, and rings the the battered alarm bell, calling his gang to arms.

As they gather and people panic, or shut up doors, he starts barking orders.

"Double the watch. I want some sneaky bastards keeping an eye out beyond the wall. No engagement without my say-so. Someone get this fucking corpse out of here! And if anyone sees Ryoma or Koch, tell 'em I'm looking for 'em."

Hooper

Shrugging, Hooper tosses the body over the side. It lands with a nasty squelch. She wasn't about to drag the body down to the morgue, if it was her way the prison would be lined with corpses of those that tried to disrupt things inside.

Her rage was starting to die, her face was calming her down again. Draining out the anger and leaving her as she should be. Calm and detached.

The bullets and parts from guns were starting to bug her though. She should turn those in.

Dropping back off the wall, Hooper starts back to the market. The place was on watch, she didn't need to stay there now. She'd check the other ways.

"Happy Jack wasn't old, but he was a man.

He lived in the sand at the Isle of Man.

The kids would all sing, he would take the wrong key,

So they rode on his head in their furry donkey."

"You make a wonderful stooge for people better than you, Lumpy. Too bad you can't see. You could have earned a place here, but instead you plan to sell yourself for food and sloppy seconds."
She let the disappointment radiate from her. No reason to hide it. She wondered when he turned. Was it just recently or had it been a while? She refused to believe that she had read him wrong from the start.

"So, it must have been you that set up Ollie. Why did you have to take Ollie out of the picture? Was she such a threat or did she just find you out? Would she have ruined Mill's plans?" She still didn't know what happened to Ollie, but if Lumpy knew she intended to find out.

It was time to wrap Lumpy up in a neat package and hand him to Graves. He would be less kind than she would be, but at least it wouldn't be so personal. She could leave Lumpy to her own followers, letting them find out that he traded their safety and that of their children for a loaf of bread and meaningless sex, but she wasn't sure they could handle the guilt. She had lived amongst savages once, and did not intend to return to that life.

She took a deep breath, letting the disappointment she felt linger. "Now, do you want to give yourself up to Graves quiet-like, or do I need to sever enough limbs for me to drag you there? You see, I don't have a lot of time. I am going to pay Mill a visit, in her dreams." She at least was giving him an option, though neither was very good.

Red Bean

Lumpy shakes his head.

"I didn't do shit with Ollie. For all I know, you killed her to feed the others."

He raises up on an elbow.

"And no, I'll walk by myself, thank you."

Everyone

I'd like to close Chapter 2 here, but I have Koch hanging.

I just need her go aggro.

Let's see if I can get her to roll ...

I DID NOT FORGET TO REPL- *bursts into flames from the pants up*

*cough* Ahem.

I am going to attempt an aggressive and overtly hostile action on one Sir Jabber as our dialogue has broken down regrettably into physical confrontation. And I need to put his bitch ass down D=<

...last time RPdom, I'm giving you one last shot at my love.

5+8+2(Hard) = 10

You...you remain in my accepted graces, RPdom dice roller.

Koch

He forces the fuck out of your hand. (did that make sense?) You do 4-harm to him.

What does that look like?

The first round punches through his calf a thin red puff coming out of the bullet wound. The next five rounds stitch upwards, making a grotesque version of connect the dots through Jabber's left side with three rounds entering into and through the lung located there. Two more rounds punch through the back of his shoulder and shatter the collar bone with the final two puncturing his left upper arm.

END OF CHAPTER

Okay, let's do end of session moves.

Who knows who better?

EDIT: Page 207 in the book for details.

The atomic bomb knows that I'll never leave its side, never let it down and never break it's heart! =D

But woe be unto the individual who lays their hands on the bomb of my eye >_>

To review:

At the end of every session, choose a character who knows you better than they used to. If there’s more than one, choose one at your whim. Tell that player to add +1 to their Hx with you on their sheet. If this brings them to Hx+4, they reset to Hx+1 (and therefore mark experience).

Well, I was alone the whole time, so that makes it much harder to figure out. I guess it will have to be Graves, because he will have to get someone to clean up the mess in the infirmary after I did a number on the vessel of the Howling. He will get +1 to his Hx with ister Red.
