Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Phiona blushed softly the light of the fire casting a warm glow on them both. "I wish all men were at least half as romantic you." She muttered sweetly as she turned her head up and kissed his cheek. Being so close to him, his talking of the rest of time and their future together made her nervous. Though she wanted to be with him she worried that their visions of them being together were completely different. He was so passionate and could sweep her off her feet so easily she was worried they were moving so quickly that would be married and realize they knew so little about eachother they were practically strangers. "I hate childern, babies especially." She said bluntly deciding now was a best time as ever to discuss things about themselves.

"They really aren't all that horrible-- their just wary of men. They have worked their whole lives to maintain this space. To learn and grow and live amongst their own kind. Not tied down by a mate or pups-" Sabella's eyes were alight with a fire, excitement coursed through her veins. The prospect of being an independent shewolf, an independent pack was an immensely exciting prospect.

Gaston regarded her with an odd look before laughing and nuzzling his nose into her hair, laughing still as he kissed the top of her curls.
"Worry not little blossom. I've already fathered my share of children."
Gaston ran his fingers through her tendrils of hair.
"If we're sharing I suppose I don't very much like leading the coven at all. It upsets me that Jacques will be shoved into the same sort of fate. I often wish I was back at the smithy. I long to create things of value, of importance, I long to be useful believe it or not."
Gaston chuckled.

"I can understand that." Donahue said with a nod as he too was enjoying the mateless life and he was always nervous around young pups as he was always afraid he might break one of the wiggle little creatures. "But they don't have to worry I have no intention of being a mate to any of them or giving them pups to deal with."

"You're useful! You help shape countless students everyday plus you created this very warm fire. I'd say you were very useful." She said with a grin, then slid her hand into his. "I am deathly afraid of falling, so much so that I refused to do summersaults as a child because they are just like falling head first but closer to the ground." She gave a small giggle of embarrassment.

Sabella looked over her shoulder with a sobering sort of smile, an almost sad kind of smirk.
"I know."
I know, you've made it very clear.
Sabella turned from him now as they stalked across the open expanse between the dens.

"I'll catch you," Gaston smiled and squeezed her hand lightly,"I've never been a fan of heights myself or very small spaces. My mother often chastised me for being spoiled when I asked for the largest room or carriage. My father told me to just go along with it so I didn't seem unmanly even as a boy."
He lifted a hand, his purple aura drifting across the carpet to the flames, stroking them and causing them to grow ever warming.
"Better?"

Seeing her somber smile Donahue's brow furrowed slightly confused, but didn't say anything about that and just followed her down the path the smell of meat roasting wafting closer to him.

Phiona rubbed her hands together creating friction that zapped and crackled between her hands creating a small ball of pale yellow electricity that arched from her hands into the fire making it flare up and grow into a healthy blaze.

((Okay! I'll start!))

Gaston chuckled and withdrew his violet aura, the sweeping mist curling back into his hands.
"Why don't you show off like this is in your classes? Your teachers say you are so quiet, so shy and I often wonder if they speak of a different young lady."
Gaston leaned into her once more and then glanced up at the clock, the hour of his annulment growing ever closer but the warmth of the fire and Phiona seemed to burn out the anxious fever within him.

Sabella laughed loudly as she stumbled through the curtain, a mug of sharp ale gripped in one hand. The young shewolf was-- in a word not entirely herself as this was one of numerous mugs of ale that she had consumed throughout the evening.
Donahue had been more helpful than usual, picking her up off the table or when she took a tumble while dancing and knew he would be at the den soon as he had stuck to her side like a burr in a wolf's ruff.
The evening had been full of festivities and Sabella's body paint had been darkened and flowers tangled into her ashy blonde hair.

"Vivian it's been days... perhaps we should be heading back to the pack. It's cold and it's dark-"
"No, we can't yet-"
"Alpha please-"
"Like you said it's been days!"
Vivian snapped over her shoulder, a growl rising from her throat, her eyes wild and what little hair she had was disheveled.
"It's been days and my daughter is no where to be seen, no one has been looking-"
"Alpha! We've exhausted every resource to find Sabella, we promise you that but she is long gone or does not want to be found-"
"You accuse my daughter of treachery and I'll not stand for it!"
Vivian circled her small group of trackers and snapped her jaws before stalking away back towards the dens. Her pack had failed her in her greatest hour of need. Ash had failed her, Valac had failed her. Her only family left and they did not work any harder than they had to, to find their daughter, Valac's sister. Vivian had lost one pup before and she would not lose another.

Phiona didn't really say anything for a while but then looked up at him. "I used to when I was younger but electricity doesn't mix too well with the flammable materials of a class room, it's worse than fire as it is conductive and often ends up hurting people, or at least not the person you intended to hurt." She said that last part with a small chuckle raising her fingers up to his lip, "but I've learned to control it now." then a small spark sprang to life on the tip of her finger and zapped Gaston's lip, not enough to hurt him but enough to tingle.

Gaston chuckled softly and grabbed her wrist gently, kissing her fingertips gently. The shock of her power causing the tingling sensation to travel from his lip to every inch of his body.
"Darling, you can't do these things to me and demand me not to kiss your lips. How strange that you are so shocking and your lips," his own finger drifted over her lower lip a numbing sensation sinking into her skin,"well, their soft as petals, little blossom and I have not yet had the honour to taste them."

"Clearly the feast so long ago didn't teach you how to handle your alcohol." Donahue chuckled enjoying watching her like this it was something he doubted he would see again so he decided enjoy the moment. "Whoa there!" He said catching her as she tumbled and grabbing the mug from her hand so she wouldn't spill any more of it. "I think you've had enough!" He chuckled forcing her to sit down afraid she might start puking he pulled a basin over to her.

Phiona's eyes grew wide at Gaston's statement, her cheeks glowing red as she turned away from him embarrassed, her lip still numb as she slowly looked back at him. Her dark eyes glowing in the firelight she gave a small smirk. "After the annulment is done, I will grant you the honors, as a sort of celebratory gift and as an apology for not being able to stay long after. How does that sound?" She asked watching his golden Amber eyes as she held his hand and kissed the tip of his index finger and slowly down the side of it.

"Hardly! Why are you such a stickler for sobriety all of a sudden, hm?"
Sabella grinned and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, her smile stretching from ear to ear.
"Why didn't you partake, hm? Being sober at a party is not nearly as fun as being- well like this!"
She laughed and fisted her hands in his shirt, snuggling her cheek into his chest.

"Phiona-" she left him absolutely breathless in this singular moment, the drag of her mouth across even a digit such as his finger.
"You are both a very talented witch and temptress. I hope that you've not shared such talents with anyone else, I'd be disgraced if your secret was known."
Gaston teased her softly and a hand fisted his coat at her hip and pulled her ever closer to him.

"Ah yes but it is moments like this that make it worth it." He said wrapping his arms around her as she pressed herself against him. "You've got flowers falling everywhere." He muttered flicking the flowers that fell from her hair onto them off. "You should probably try to get some sleep, now before your hangover is so bad you can't." He muttered with a chuckle and kissed the top of her head.

Her smirk grew wider as he pulled her closer. "I assure you that you are the only one I have shared anything with. I would hate for everyone to know how well I can kiss a finger." She snickered, a sort of blissful innocence about her as she did so. "Of course it is you who I believe spoke of yourself as 'a man who is both knowledgeable of the opposite sex and aware of what women both want and need' did you not? So now I wonder if it should be I who should worry of your secret getting out?"

"I don't want to sleep." Sabella moaned in protest, standing up on tiptoes in order to capture his lips in hers. Her mouth- at first, collided with his sloppily before finally trapping his lips against hers. The taste of ale on her tongue and breathe was bitter, sweet and sharp all at the very same time.
"I want to do anything but sleep, I want to dance, I want to run, I want to-"
She murmered, smirk painted lips brushing up against his, her body doing the same as she muttered this is to him.

"I haven't a secret in the world that I would keep from you or the coven."
Gaston grinned and leaned towards her, kissing her forehead softly just as the clock struck the hour. He exhaled softly, his hand shaking as he gripped her carefully.
"It's time."

"Sabella, you may want to do all those things now but I know for a fact you will regret it in the morning." He said though he didn't seem to convincing as he was willingly kissing her back and wasn't pushing her away as she pressed against him.
